I've used their mechanic for over 30 years at Mike's and other places he worked and know his expertise beats the rest by miles. If you want a fair, honest business to work with, Mike's is the one. My 229,000 mile Honda Accord depends on these folks to stay running!

    It took a few hours. I just dropped it off and came back that afternoon. I found them when I looked on the internet and kind of through word of mouth on their guarantees and stuff. They gave me a call during the day to let me know how it was going and when they actually did find what the problem was. There were definitely good communication skills on their part.

    Trickle'S Tire & Automotive
    Trickle's Tire & Automotive was available to patch my tire right away. They scheduled a convenient appointment for early Saturday morning which allowed me to run errands all day Saturday. I did not have to wait when I dropped off my car or when I picked it up.
    The mechanic was professional and easy to communicate with. The shop was clean. 
    The mechanic completed the work quickly and called when it was done. The price they quoted me as an estimate was the cost of the completed work.
    While rotating the tires the mechanic found my car needed additional maintenance work. He told me how far I could drive before getting the maintenance work done. The mechanic did not pressure me to have the work done at their shop.

    I have been to En-Tire twice in the last month after a disappointing performance by my last tire place.  I had a punctured tire in my driveway and called to see when they could get me in for a repair.  They said come on over.  I dropped off my damaged tire and when I returned they installed it and put away my spare.  They also said to swing by the next week for a quick tire check.

    Last week my car was putting out different messages to get the oil checked and then the engine light came on as well.  They got me in quickly to assess the situation.  During the oil change they didn't nickel and dime me for fluids like other places and they checked my transmission to give me bad news but offered up a few solutions I could live with.  They are great folks in a service area where trust is hard to find, and I will definitely be back.

    They support local schools by offering oil change certificates for our PTO auction and using it was super quick and easy.

    I actually like them very well. It turned out that the leak was nothing so he didn't charge me anything. They checked into my EGR code, couldn't find anything wrong with that at all, cleared the code and drove it for a while. Honestly the car wasn't worth fixing and he wasn't pushy at all. He put out about how much it would cost. They've done a couple of service for us in the past and it was done on the same day as promised.

    Shock strut install went fine. We requested they investigate a handling issue and they were able to filter it down to shocks/struts. They did not tell us to do anything un-necessary like ball joints, tie-rod ends, controls arms - etc, which they could have claimed. The repair fixed the problem.


    We also asked them to investigate an oil leak. I asked them to put dye in the oil, which I think they forgot to do. When I brought it back for them to look for they dye the next week, I think they just tried to look for the leak. They claimed they couldn't find one, but I have visually found oil in several locations myself, though I can't pinpoint the source. I suspect it's coming from a seal under the engine cover, which could conceivably take quite a bit of time to diagnose and then repair. It loses about 1/2 qt. per week. They didn't quite say it quite like this but I think they assumed since the car is a '94 with 250k on it, it wouldn't be worth investigating or repairing.

    I like to run my cars as long as possible, though, so I wish they could have put a little more time into investigating it or been a little more telling about why they weren't looking too closely.

    They were very professional and straight forward.  They didn't try to get me to purchase anything other than what I needed.  They showed me my air filter and recommended that it be replace, but told me I didn't "have" to.  I really appreciated that!  I didn't feel pressured into services I didn't need or want, and they weren't condescending.  As a woman, I feel they were very respectful.  They didn't treat me like other places have when I'm without my husband.  I recommend Car X to anyone who asks about services they provide.

    I have never had better service! The serviceman at Toyota was phenomenal. I had to take my van in 3 times in a month to get things fixed. He found me a courtesy car that would fit two carseats, he helped me switch everything to the courtesy car each time including the carseats, and helped me switch everything back to my van when the fixes were made. It was 90 plus degrees outside, but he stayed with me until everything was switched over and I was ready to go. He was funny, too, which made having to switch everything to the courtesy car for the third time more bearable.

    I have a 1952 Chevy 3100 side-step pickup that my wife let me buy as a retirement gift. It needs a lot of restoration work, some of which I will do myself and some is over my head. Tim Sheirbon has restored many vehicles over the years, and I completely trust his know-how and excellant quality of work (much of this was based on my previous experience with him doing body work on my wifes van and my 3 kids cars, all of which were related to running into, being broadsided by, or in my oldest daughters case - running over a dead deer laying in the middle of the road). Anyway, back to my truck, the steering was very sloppy and the rear end bounced around like a yoyo. So, off to see Tim I went, with replacement parts in hand. After his installation, I'm ready for the truck to speedly make hairpin curves (not really, top speed is very slow). He did an exceptional job.
