    Castiglione Accordions
In October 2019 I purchased a new Scandalli Super L accordion from Castiglione via phone and email conversations with John Castiglione because I live in Hawaii. It was an important and expensive purchase for me and John was very helpful. After delivery and a month of use I was somewhat unhappy with the tuning and the bass was too heavy for my personal preference. John worked with me to upgrade to a recommended Beltuna and applied the entire cost of the Super L towards the Beltuna, and we agreed to split the shipping cost which I thought was very fair. Beltuna is just PERFECT and I am so happy with it. I thought John Castiglione handled everything very professionally and was patient and helpful with this unusual set of circumstances.

    Barbara Dyer
Our experience has been quite positive. My kids have been with her for over a year and we are quite pleased. She is quite good with little children and has even carried my reticent child from the car to her piano and cheered her up within minutes. I recommend Barbara to my friends and neighbors.

    First Road Property Advisors LLC
She did a great job reviewing people. Doreen is a one-person office! Her energy is so amazing. She can confidently show apartments and complete follow-up with tenants. I would definitely use her again.

    SAM'S ELECTRONIC SVC
I called Sam's to ask about having my TV repaired. The man who answered the phone gave me prices for making a house call and for fixing the TV (exclusive of parts). These seemed quite fair to me. He then asked a number of questions about the TV problem and asked me to perform a test at night (in a dark room) and call him back with the results. I did that and spoke with the same man the next morning. Subject to what the TV repairmen found out when they examined my TV, he gave me an estimate for parts. We then discussed options and he said that it might not make economic sense for me to repair the tV (as opposed to buying a new TV similar to the broken one) unless I could bring the TV in to Sam's. As this was not an option for me, I decided to buy a new TV. By the way, Sam's doesn't sell them.
All told, the Sam's representative spent over 20 minutes on the phone with me, without charge. I expressed my gratitude to him and told him how favorably I was impressed by his honesty and concern for this customer. He said that it is Sam's policy to put the customer's needs first. I would certainly go to Sam's for any tV repair needs I have in the future. I rate them A+
Incidentally, the address you have for Sam's is not correct. The correct address, as seen on the internet and given to me also by Sam's representative, is: Sam's Electronics, 94-1388 Moaniani Street, Unit 303, Waipahu, HI and the telephone number is 808-677-7707

    BIRTH CENTER AT CASTLE
After a full day of contractions at 38 weeks pregnant, I checked in at the birth center at Castle Hospital. The registration process went very quickly because they accept pre-registration forms, so I had a form filled out with all my information already at the center. They just needed to confirm my insurance and identification, and they took my weight upon arrival. Even though they didn't have a birth room ready for me, the staff at the birth center did their best by placing me in a regular hospital room where I waited only minutes before I was escorted to one of the larger birth rooms. They allowed me to follow my birth plan and to change it as I requested. It was very nice because my birthing room was also my recovery room, so I didn't need to move after giving birth and my baby could remain with me and there was a couch/folding bed for my husband to sleep on. I was as comfortable as I could be while enduring the most painful experience of my life. The birth center allowed me to have whoever I wanted (or didn't want) present for labor, delivery and visiting after the birth. They provided many different types of birthing position equipment. There was a fairly spacious bathroom with a toilet, sink, mirror, stool and tub/shower that had hot tub capabilities. There was a sink stocked with hand soap in the birth room, as well as a mini fridge, television, counters and many outlets (for phone chargers, other electronic devices). The bed was moderately comfortable and could be adjusted to many different positions. I got as many pillows and blankets as I asked for. I was provided with a cup of water filled with crushed ice regularly, which was great. They provided 3 meals per day, which were nutritious and plentiful and usually tasted decent, but allowed me to have my own food and drinks brought from outside, as well. Each nurse or technician introduced herself to me immediately upon entering the room. Each time I called the front desk to ask for my nurse to come to my room, it only took 5 minutes at the most for my nurse to arrive, even when I requested they bring something. All the nurses I had throughout my stay were patient and friendly and very thorough, especially the nurse who checked me out of the birth center. The nurse ensured that I was sent home with many items, such as newborn diapers, alcohol prep wipes, netted underwear, leakage pads, a tape measure, a cleansing bottle, and a can of Dermoplast spray. They even had a person available to help me ensure that the baby's car seat was properly installed before leaving.

    Royal Hawaiian Movers
From beginning to end, everyone involved was friendly, professional, and efficient. I received my vehicle and household goods
in excellent condition, the only casualties were 2 glasses. My only suggestion for improvement would for the mainland dispatch crew to be a bit more proactive in setting expectations. That said, every call or email I sent was responded to quickly and the information I received about timelines was accurate. I used Royal Hawaiian Movers 10 years ago when I moved from Honolulu to Kirkland, and had a great experience as well.

    Choate Hawaii Real Estate
Karyl Choate was a godsend to us, as first-time homebuyers. Despite several problems from the seller's side, due to the foreclosed nature of the property, Karyl steered us through the redtape and helped us obtain our dream home. A pleasure to work with, she displayed incredible patience and professionalism throughout our extended home search. This angel even remembered my birthday, surprising me with a gorgeous lei! Thanks to Karyl, we are now loving our new hale on the hill, treasuring peaceful, tiare-scented nights, the moon-splashed, palm-lined bay, and the comforting twinkle of quaint Kaneohe-Town lights. We can not recommend Karyl, and Choate Hawaii Real Estate, highly enough!
