    They've been very good. We had them for a couple of years now and are very satisfied with the results. We don't have any bugs in the house at all. 

    The work takes maybe 30 minutes. One technician comes out and sprays around the house and asks if we had problems on the inside. He also sprays inside the garage.

    He is very good about notifying me. But then he asked for my tenant's apartments phone numbers. I give it to them but somehow they don't transmit it to the person who's going to make the call's. So, quite a bit of time went by. I think their whole office needs to run tighter. They did quite a good job. My tenants see roaches and they call back. He came back twice. I live in Hawaii and my tenants are my eyes but I ask each vendor to notify me when the job is done by email or by text. Once they do the job they have to invoice me and they did not send me an invoice for the latest job they did but I paid them. When other vendors do the job they invoice me and these people did not send me an invoice. The technician is very knowledgeable and the chemicals used were good. A part of the job to be professional is to educate. I told them that I am dis-satisfied with their work. They are not all together because they said they would be there on a certain day and went there the following week. The only issue with them is letting me know, setting an appointment and keeping that appointment.

    Responded to the appointment request made the same day, scheduled the appointment, showed up on time, was professional, thoroughly inspected under the house, around the house, and inside the house.  Very pleased we didn't have any termites, but was willing to fill out the additional paperwork requested of him.  Very pleased with the service.

    Sandwich Isle Pest Solutions
    I contacted 3 companies to get quotes to fumigate my house. I did not necessarily want to go with the really cheap companies because I wanted to avoid problems if possible because I've heard complaints about some of them. Guy Matsumoto is Sandwich Isle's senior sales manager and came out to inspect my house. I knew my home would be a little more expensive to fumigate because of the extended roof line from additions to the house. Also, they had to deal with not being able to walk on some of the roofs because it would not support their weight. Guy was very knowledgeable and helpful in his suggestions. The quotes I received were close in price. I decided to go with Sandwich Isle because of two extra services they provided. They would spray borate dust in the attic spaces to help cut down on re-infestation and would do a perimeter pest control treatment around the house after the tent was removed to keep ants from outside going inside to seek out the dead termites.
    Kalani Kiaaina was the crew leader on the day of fumigation. I was impressed with his concern about minimizing damage to the fiberglass roof addition because it was old and fragile. He called his office to see if he would be on the crew coming back the next morning to remove the tent. He was not so he told me he would speak to the crew leader and tell him about the precautions to take in removing the tent.
    I returned home the following afternoon after receiving the call that it was safe to enter my home. I walked around the house to do an inspection. I was surprised at the minimal damage to the fiberglass roof. I expected some damage because it was so fragile but it was in pretty good shape. I found two of my ladders in the back had been used (which I didn't mind) but had been left in the backyard instead of put away back under shelter. It had rained on fumigation day so I guess the tents needed to be washed down because all the hoses around the house had been used. But the nozzles from the two garden hoses in the front of my house had been removed. One nozzle was left near the hose but the other all-brass nozzle was missing. I'd had it for a long time and now I had the expense and inconvenience of replacing it.
    On 10/13, I sent an e-mail about my good and bad experiences to the general manager, Ian Mateo. On 10/20, I sent a follow-up e-mail since I had not heard back from him. He responded on 10/22 and said he was out of town on business travel. If he had set up his e-mail to give automatic responses saying that he was traveling and would have limited access to e-mail, I would certainly have been more understanding of why it was taking so long for him to respond. He apologized and said they would talk to their staff about not using the customer's ladders. He offered to send someone out and replace the nozzle. By that time, I had been shopping around for a replacement and was surprised at all the choices available. I turned down his offer because I wanted to get exactly what I wanted and not let someone else pick it out.
    So I had good and not so good experiences with Sandwich Isle. I am not sure if I would use this company again.

    Good overall.
    Scheduling is a bit of a pain. You have to call and usually the person who answers can't help you make an appt. 
    They've always showed up on time and do the work in the allotted amount of time.
    The service people have been friendly and talked me through what they're doing and how the spraying and poison pellets are supposed to work.
    I appreciated that they were really caring about our dogs (they needed to be out of the office for at least 4 hours after spraying).

    I had a huge ant problem. Took about a month to get under control. They came every two months after that for service. Most of the techs were great, punctual but one I got midstream did not keep his appointments, had to call several times. Now have a good tech, very responsive.

    It turns out really well. We can leave instructions for what type of bugs we want treated. They are careful about the dogs. They are really receptive to special instructions. They always call before they come. They leave a detailed sheet when they leave about what they did. They come quarterly but if we need service between the dates they will come out and do additional spraying.

    The service people that come around first of all are consistent. They don't run through people's stuff as I know the guy who comes. Very friendly, looks after things, notices others even if it doesn't have anything to do with termites. They are very helpful, but the thing is the consistency with their employees they don't change them. The price is good, different from other suppliers. The quality is fine as we have had no problems. I will continue using them in future.
