Very well.. Jason is very personable and very professional. The removal and installation of new ACs was done fast, neat and I’m so impressed. It was way better than the old ones.. thank you Jason and will hire him when I need things done.

My wife and I had Morgan Migita over to look at our 1 bedroom condo remodel and had Mr. Migita give us a soup to nuts estimate on a complete remodel.  He expressed confidence in his work, asked pertinent questions and took detailed measurements.  He returned a comprehensive estimate to us promptly.  He began work on time arrive early that day and worked with his team of 2 for 4 weeks straight (sometimes on Saturdays), leaving the unit on the designated day with the project completed.  Everyone had warned us that contractors do not finish on time but Mr. Migita sure did.  We provided Morgan with most material some of which we had delivered and some of which he picked up from Lowes, Home Depot, a local granite company, American Carpet One and Daltile.  He was happy to work with our choices and offered pro-active and creative solutions to make sure everything looked and functioned as well as possible.  Morgan acted on our behalf as an advocate with our suppliers, always taking our side in making sure everything was to our satisfaction.  At times he suggested we spend more on some material while at times suggested solutions that saved us money. Mr. Migita also provided all small items as needed, cleared them with us when appropriate and has excellent taste in material.  All receipts were provided weekly when he received his payments for services rendered. Morgan expertly directed his team who were always friendly, clean and professional.  He welcomed us into the unit while he was working and encouraged us to visit daily (as it was complete remodel we lived elsewhere).  Morgan never let his ego get in the way of our satisfaction when we asked that things be done our way while making excellent recommendations that reflected functionality and finish.  The level of work was superb all around and I'll comment on some specific areas; Bathroom:  all tile work in both the tub surround and flooring was excellent with care taken to grout beautifully.  All fixtures were secured and caulked.  He installed all of our fixtures and we had all fixtures except for the toilet sourced thru (free shipping!)  Morgan contracted with a plumber who was paid by him and reimbursed thru us at a competitive rate at reasonable hours. Kitchen:  Cabinets were installed and adjusted and all appliances were installed.  An electrician was contracted by MGM and paid by MGM then reimbursed thru us at a competitive rate at reasonable hours.  An air-switch was suggested and installed for the Kitchen Disposal.  Morgan supervised the installation of the granite countertops by a local granite company and he advocated for us when we had a problem with them! All lighting: halls, livingroom, kitchen and bath were chosen by us and installed to our satisfaction. Ceilings: we were very happy MGM suggested removal of the popcorn and he finished the ceilings beautifully in a knock-down finish. Flooring: in addition to the aforementioned bathroom, laminate flooring was installed on approximately 750 square feet of floors to our satisfaction including the building required under-treatment. Walls: the uneven and cruddy walls were completed leveled and done in a flat (non-knock-down) finish which was well worth an extra $2,000 fee which we agreed to in our contract due the enormous extra labor.  They were worth it! Lanai: removal of lanai carpet and finish of in a non-slip outdoor "paint" in a satisfactory color. Paint: every wall and all ceiling were painted with the paint of our choosing in various colors to our satisfaction. Rubbish: all rubbish was disposed or throughout the project and the place kept orderly.  Morgan is clearly a very organized person and we took special delight in reading his lists of the next-day's-work when we looked at the unit every night. Finish: His crew cleaned the place to our satisfaction and finished the job at the end of the agreed upon date. Misc: MGM hung and wired a LED TV on the wall and hid and re-routed coax cable and surround sound speaker wire which was of special importance to us.  This also involved the jack-hammering of concrete to put the wiring under the flooring.  All of this was included in the scope of work. MGM did lots of little things that were not called upon in the scope of work.  Someone hiring MGM should feel confident that Mr. Migita will complete a job with a high-level of fit and finish without spelling out every little detail in the scope of work (contract).  Also, Mr. Migita bought many small items and used discretion in purchasing things like additional paint, mud and finish products.  As written earlier all receipts were provided.  Also, items (including some large items [ie: a toilet]) were returned to Home Depot pro-actively. While I am trying to keep this review as objective as possible it should be noted that we can, without reservation recommend Mr. Migita to work on similar projects and without reservation we recommend him.  You should consider yourself lucky to have him on your project.  I wish Angies List would allow me to publish picture so we can share how great things turned out.

    TJR Works
From the initial estimate and the cabinet installation and associated carpentry to install the moulding (over and under cabinet) to hide the under cabinet LED countertop lighting, the job lasted three days. TJR Works LLC and Brian did detailed and professional work, and responded to any questions from my wife. We are very pleased with the final result and the renovated kitchen appearance.

    Satoshi Yamauchi Woodworks
The new cabinet doors are gorgeous and are very well matched both in color and wood design to the other cabinets that were not replaced. I know matching old with new can be very difficult. He and Marcia went out of their way to assure a correct match, with a good amount of time spent through trial and error to get the color right. Satoshi is obviously very skilled and conscientious not only about his work, but also listening to the wishes of the client. He takes much pride in his work. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

If you go to his shop you will not be impressed by a fancy showroom with displays of his work.  It is a very raw, dusty, for real workshop with work in progress and raw lumber all over the place.  He seemed to rely on referral after referral which kept him busy.  He came to the house, took measurements and made the cabinets within the week.  Upon installation one section stuck out longer than I liked so he brought it back to his shop and shortened it and was back in about an hour to finish the installation.  First thing people ask when they walk in the bathroom... where did you get those cabinets?

o Their propsal was very professional: It was very detailed. It listed all that needed to be done, with options you could choose with the prices listed. So one had a good idea of the cost and how to keep it within one's means. They also provided you a start-date as well as end-date. They provided you with a schedule of when the demolition crew; plumber, installers were scheduled to arrive and kept to that schedule. They answered and explained things I was not sure about. I was also provided a critique sheet to accomplish which I did. If I was to have another renovation, so to speak, I would consider them.

    California Closets - Honolulu
We had closets throughout our home that needed to be finished with organizing systems. Instead of going with cheap pressboard we decided on California Closet systems with real hardwood material and installation with lifetime warranty. A consultant came over, measured the spaces, and consulted with my wife and I on how we wanted the layout to look and included all of the fine details. Overall the finished product was great, albeit a bit on the pricey side, but eh...what do you expect for real wood closets in the first place. I noticed that there were lots of holes in the sides so you can adjust the shelves (or they do that so they can prefabricate them all ahead of time for various layouts and don't have to worry about drilling exact holes later). Would have liked it if they had hole covers to fill the light wood holes (we got the cherry colored closets). Professional service folk that payed extra attention to our finished walls and floors so as to not damage them. Would use again.

    ABC Handyman Hawaii
We have owned several homes on the mainland US and now in Hawaii and over the years had many contractors, builders and repairmen companies/individuals work in our homes but ABC Handyman/John Montano was by far the best person and best company we have ever hired and ABC Handyman exceeded our highest expectations. The significant amount of repair, fixup, and finishing work that ABC Handyman did throughout our home was of the highest quality, ABC work is done promptly, ABC work is done professionally with the highest skill level, ABC Handyman is fantastic to clean up the areas he works in so there is no mess whatsoever, his pricing is fair and most important ABC Handyman is honest and of the highest integrity which is important when you have people in your home. I would, without reservation, strongly recommend ABC Handyman/John Montano to anyone looking for a top notch repairman service who is a talented professional, fairly priced and does impeccable fix up, restoration, repair and 'craftsman' level finishing work both inside and outside of your home/residence.

We recently hired Morgan Migita?s MGM Enterprises to remodel the kitchen and 2 bathrooms in our Waikiki high rise apartment.  The remodel project including gutting the floor surfaces, walls and all the cabinetry, plumbing and fixtures.  We hired Morgan after viewing several other similar renovations he had done and were thoroughly impressed by his vision, design sense and attention to detail.  His craftsmanship and skill are evident in all his projects including ours.  His knowledge and common sense lead to many great suggestions. His eye for balance and detail contributed to an outcome that exceeded our expectations.  He came in at the estimated budget and timeframe despite the fact we had to change the scope to include several other items.  Morgan's contacts with other excellent skilled subcontractors and suggestions of where to purchase quality materials at reasonable prices brought value to the job and saved us money.  We were able to make the many time critical decisions needed in this type of job and provide direction while living in New Hampshire during the remodel project.  We used FaceTime on our iPhones to see the weekly progress being made.  Morgan patiently answered our questions and always offered well-thought out solutions during these FaceTime sessions.  He and his crew worked many long days and weeks to accommodate our short timeframe.  The crew was always cheerful and focused when we did finally fly in near the end of the job.  Morgan possesses a critical eye and has high standards.  If something wasn't right, he remedied it until it did meet his expectations.  We lived in the apartment for several weeks after the job was completed and at Morgan's suggestion, we made a list of anything that needed to be corrected.  He came back and fixed the few minor changes we requested.  His philosophy is that he is our contractor from day one of the job and beyond.  Working with Morgan was a pleasure. He takes pride in his work and has a rare sense of integrity that gives his clients the peace of mind that the job will be done right and they will be treated fairly.  Overall we could not recommend him more.

Sii countertops exceeded my expectations in a major way. I redid all my bathrooms with solid surface material and it came out to $25k. I shopped the price with two other guys and the price was around the same. After everything was said and done I was very happy. They completed the job two days ahead of estimated time and it was picture perfect. I highly recommend Gavin and his team at sii countertops.
