    Toa and Kyle's Home Solutions
No job is too big or too small for Toa and Kyle Home Solutions. Kyle does it all! My first contract with Kyle involved cleaning gutters, repairing a screen door, and changing the floor tile in the bathroom. This morphed into a huge project that took nearly a year to complete. When Kyle removed the existing bathroom floor tile, he discovered extensive termite damage that had been left by a previous contractor. It was like peeling the layers of an onion. The more Kyle uncovered, the grimmer it looked. He found that the termite damage had extended to two supporting beams downstairs. It involved consulting with a structural engineer and a pest control specialist to determine the exact extent of the termite damage. Kyle took the time to trouble shoot and brainstorm the project, consult with outside experts, and then set up a plan of action that covered two phases: 1. Replacing and reinforcing the beams to support the upstairs floor and 2. Changing out the termite eaten wood and renovating the entire upstairs (new flooring, tub, vanity, cabinets et. al.) Throughout the entire project, Kyle was extremely professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. I so appreciated his patience with me as he sometimes had to explain and re-explain the process until I understood. He is extremely efficient and thorough, and his communication skills are beyond measure. He kept me posted continually throughout the work and sent pictures so I could see the progress. Prior to the onset of any phase, I was given a detailed description of the work to be done and it's cost. If I had questions, he promptly explained them. Kyle also had a unique ability to assess a problematic situation and offer an array of solutions so that I could pick the one that best fit my budget and timeline. I plan to use Kyle for future projects and highly recommend him without any reservations whatsoever. He is simply amazing! Your next home improvement project is in great hands with Toa and Kyle Home Solutions!

Kyle was professional in his approach to our project. He worked quickly and I was impressed by how he cleaned up at the end of each work day. The finished job is exactly what we intended and was done with finesse. It looks beautiful.

    Building Science LLC
Sean, Darrell and crew were outstanding. Three things stand out as important positives: 1) the quality of their work is unquestioned; 2) they were polite and professional (my wife even liked their music!); and 3) they were extremely trustworthy.

    Moore
Tom was very punctual. He worked approximately 50 hours on my apartment. He arrived on time every day. He worked 8 hrs a day, however if there was a problem, Tom not only figure it out but would stay if it took longer time. He was very thorough - even cleaned and vacuumed the debris afterwards. He was fast but not sloppy. Tom was intelligent and came up with solutions and new ideas.

The job was completed within the schedule and its price was generally as expected. There was clearly a sense of dedication to doing good work at fair cost on the part of each crew member. It is apparent that Jack is a trainer as well as a good manager and worker himself.

    Art Attacks
If there were 10 Stars I would give them. Superior work and a fair price and the recipients were ecstatic with the two framed items. So pleased was I with the results that I dropped two more projects off today. Everything that has been done for me is archival quality and I received excellent suggestions that made the finished projects even better. Pictures Plus is ok for common stuff, but if you want high quality excellent workmanship then in my opinion Art Attacks is the place to go. I have used both.

    Art Attacks
Everything was done museum quality, from the paper use, mat material and UV plexiglass and that was the reason for the higher cost. Had I requested UV glass or plain glass and not archival quality, the cost would have been much less. Previously I had two other pieces done at Art Attack at similar cost and I was so pleased with the quality, it was the major reason I went back. Larry is an artist and has been doing this work for at least 14 years. A novice goes into his shop and does not have much a clue as to what I want other than I want this paper framed, matted and archival quality. This is where Larry's expertise comes in and his helpful suggestions and the time he takes to demonstrate different colors of mats and frames gives life to what the finished project will look like. I have had work done at Pictures Plus and their work is ok, but they have a high turnover in staff and occasionally you may find someone that has the artistic background to help you get what you want, but unless you really know what you want or don't really care then Pictures Plus might be the place for you and yes I have used them and will do so again. However, for any special projects, I will go back to Art Attacks. The finished project was so much better and included the wire hanger where with Picture Plus I got just a small metal hanger that was pounded into the frame. I choose UV Plexiglass for my projects because some were mailed and because I also have several small grandchildren and would rather not have glass in picture frames for safety reason in this single wall home.

    AGA Construction Inc
The job consisted of a total kitchen and laundry area renovation. We repositioned the stove and exhaust, the kitchen sink/plumbing, replacing the linoleum floor with tile, added a new window above the new sink location, installed custom cabinets, new laundry hookups, replaced our standard water heater with a tankless gas water heater, installed a glass tile backsplash, and installed a caesarstone countertop. They also ended up taking down the wall between the kitchen and the dining room and also created a new doorway opening the laundry area to the den in the next room. The original timeline for the project was 3 months, the project ended up taking 5 months because of permit approval delays, work additions we requested, and finally because the under cabinet outlets that we wanted needed to be ordered by the electricians, manufactured and shipped from out of state. On our job, AGA subcontracted the electrical, plumbing, cabinet manufacturing, and countertop fabrication/installation. The crew was respectful and cleaned up after themselves daily and locked up at the end of the day. Ilan stopped by every week to check on the progress. AGA even provided a porta potty for the workers to use on the job, which we appreciated. As with any construction job, nothing goes completely smoothly. There were some problems with the installation of the tile floor. We showed Ilan the problem areas and without hesitation, he called in another more experienced tile guy to fix our floor. He took the necessary steps to make sure that we were satisfied with the work and that the problems with the floor were fixed. Ilan had our best interests in mind and tried hard to save us money by giving his expert opinions and presenting all the available options of how to solve problems. The two reasons that the job went longer then estimated were inspector related problems that held up work that needed to be finished before Ilan could move on to other aspects of the job. And we had to wait for the custom under cabinet power strips to be manufactured and installed. Ilan at AGA is very focused on customer service and will go out of his way to make you happy. Ilan was always available through phone and text message whenever we had questions. Ilan always listened to our concerned and did everything in his power to fix whatever problem we had. He even gave us a lifetime warranty on the work and promised to come back and fix the backsplash grout that was beginning to crack a few weeks after installation. Ilan told us when we first met him that he would ?save us from the rest of the contractors?, and we are happy we choose AGA and would recommend them in the future.
