    A&A Movers Corp
The guys never removed their filthy shoes when entering my home. I guess they thought since I was moving out that it didn't matter - until I told them I wasn't selling the house! They damaged my stairwell (scratches, dents, scuffed-up the banister, and put a large hole right in the drywall). After numerous calls and texts, nobody has responded yet - the work was performed the first week of January. I finally logged a complaint with the BBB and they are trying to make contact with the owner. I text and call the cell phone on file (which is the one they use for business and the same one I used to setup the job), so I know they are seeing the messages. They just don't want to repair it. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL - DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION PROMISE. They will trample all over your house, will not wrap anything to secure it, will leave furniture scuffed and backings torn (3 dressers they did this), and if they damage your carpet, walls, cabinets, etc., don't hold your breath that they will fix it. LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR MOVING NEEDS I PROMISE YOU ON GOD'S GOOD BOOK.

    You Move Me
First I want to say thanks to Ulises and his crew they were awesome. They arrived in Honolulu at the time they said and I took them just about an hour to pack and load up that condo. Then they moved to the second house and it took them about 2 hours to pack and load that apartment. Once they were at the new house it was a breeze for them to unpack, set up and take away their boxes. I couldn't have had a better team to come out and make moving day a piece of cake. Thanks again guys and especially Matt for being so kind and following up on the move. I would definately recommend them to anyone.

    Royal Hawaiian Movers
From first contact by phone through to final delivery and follow-up Royal Hawaiian Movers underpromised and overdelivered. John Lindstrom, our Relocation Consultant at Royal Hawaiian Movers, accurately estimated the duration of the pack out in Hawaii, the volume of shipping (one 45 foot container and at least one overflow crate), and pick-up and delivery dates. The team that packed us out in Hawaii, Rueben's team, work tirelessly every day of the three day pack and one day of containerizing the load. Unfortunately, I have lost the list of names, but one packer on Rueben's team was especially diligent and thorough. The team was professionally dressed, with good personal hygiene and no butt crack showing.
in Las Vegas our houselhold goods were delivered by Ace World Wide Moving and Storage and Atlas. Atlas delivered the 45 foot container. In extreme heat and sun Ron's team of Mario, Terrell, Robert, Pako, Mike and Jerard quickly unloaded the container, positioned furniture and boxes as we requested, and cleaned up any debris. They were again professionally dressed with good personal hygiene and no butt crack showing. Ace World Wide delivered the crate and tri-wall box. Quick, efficient and professional. Also, in addition to numerous contacts with Royal Hawaiian Movers customer service before, during and after the pack and ship in Hawaii we received similar thorough customer service follow-up from Atlas and Ace in Las Vegas.
What everyone wants to know is, "Damage?" Yes, but extremely, extremely minor. No damage to the furniture other than a few rubs that were easily buffed out. No stains to upholstery. Nothing is missing. Nothing was left behind in Hawaii. The damage so far...a crushed bagel slicer, value $2 and a bent metal rung on a clothes valet that was straightened on the spot leaving no evidence of damage. All the china, glassware, collectibles, knick-knacks, and other breakables were packed in dish packs with more than enough packing to protect the items. All the other items were also well packed. Clothes arrived in laydown wardrobes and could be immediately hung in the closet ready to wear. All the unpacking has been like this.
For the record, I solicited three estimates from vendors on Angies List. One was never able to respond to provide an estimate and seemed disinterested. They had lots of military moves and really made it seem like they didn't want my business. The other didn't seem as professional as Royal Hawaiian Movers. This other vendor provided only an estimate in the body of an e-mail with little detail. They never identified the estimated volume, shipping containers, various pricing schemes, etc. They also never took the opportunity I offered to look at items we had in storage. They just asked for my estimate of the vollume. Finally, they were $5000 more expensive than Royal Hawaiian Movers.  Overall, considering it was a move across the Pacific Ocean after all, a good experience.

    Two Guys & A Truck
Garth and the crew were so awesome. I owned a moving and storage company years ago so I have pretty high standards. The three men who moved our household goods were extremely careful, strong, paid attention to detail and placed boxes in rooms as designated on the boxes. Not one piece of furniture was damaged and no broken dishes found in any boxes. I seriously had 80 boxes (that I packed) and we've just unpacked them all and not one box was in the wrong room. That's serious attention to detail.
    Total professional group of guys!!
I've already referred two friends to call them for their moves.

It went very well. The delivery was scheduled quickly and at my convenience; the container was professionally placed and the driver was clearly experienced; the pickup was problem-free and as planned. There was no separate charge for the service, as it was included in my total moving expense through Matson (which also went well, as noted in a separate review).

The container was delivered as promised, in excellent condition. We hired a flat-bed tow truck to put our car in the container. Then we hired a company to pack up the container with our furniture and such.
The container was shipped to Hawaii ahead of schedule, as it was quickly packed and picked up early. The provider gave us regular progress updates.
The price that was quoted (several months ago) was the price we got, despite likely increases in fuel costs. Even though I shipped 25-30 boxes of china among my household goods, breakage was limited to one plate, one serving dish, and a small bowl. I was quite satisfied with that result, especially as I had packed the china myself.
I was very satisfied with this provider.

    Polynesian Movers
The movers showed up at 0930, 30 minutes after the scheduled start time, but in the contract is states you are billed from start time from warehouse to your home.  The movers had me sign a contract which also had additional costs for moving boxes, shrink wrap, bubble wrap and paper.  My original quote was for two people with an 18ft truck.  I had three people show up and offered a good rate for the additional person and it made the move go faster, and a truck I would say was 16 foot long.  We ended up making two trips, and finished up at arround 1630.  I was figuring a bill of about $900 - $1,000 dollars, but was handed a bill for $1,110.  I was charged $40 for one roll of bubble wrap, which costs about $20 at Home Depot, which is where it was from, and $140 for two rolls of shrink wrap, which cost under $70 for four rolls.  I'm guessing this is where they try to make up for their lower bid costs for moving.  Overall the move went well and I would recommend them to others, just plan ahead and provide your own shrink wrap, boxes, paper and bubble wrap.

    Royal Hawaiian Movers
Was contracted by Royal Hawaiian Movers.  They provided the cost estimate.  Initial company arrived on time and packed HHG for shipment.  Royal Hawaiian Movers delivered HHG earlier than anticipated.  No problems.  Great service!

.I would definitely recommend them again.  This was a short notice job - just 2 days - and I can't express how happy I was that they were available.
