    Inspired Closets Hawaii
We first saw the Organized Hawaii products at the local BIA Show at the Blaisdell Center.  We were pretty impressed with the products displayed (including hide-away beds, functional storage units, etc).
We had been looking for a trustworthy contractor to build a wall-unit for our daughters' playroom.  we wanted something functional, durable, and nice looking.  Above all, we wanted a trustworthy contractor... a company with whom we could invest our trust, as well as the appearance of our relatively new home.
As it turns out, the entire experience was truly enjoyable.
Now if you have worked with contractors, you already know that "enjoyable" is a tall order... and probably hard to believe.
But I have to tell you... if ever there were a text-book partnership experience, this was it for us!
At the BIA show, we met Brent, who owns the company with his wife.  My wife and I chatted with Brent, and then he gave us a catalog (he could tell we were genuinely interested in their products and services).  We asked him to give us a call in a few days; he did.  We scheduled an appointment, and he arrived to view our home and capture some expectations.  We actually asked him to design three different projects, but let him know we would likely start with the playroom.  He acknowledged our requests, and... five days later, we had three great designs.
Unfortunately, my wife's grandfather passed, and we had to depart for the mainland.
Brent was patient, and even extended the deadline in which we could apply our discount.
Upon our return to Hawaii, we traded emails with Brent and tweaked the design a bit.  (My wife wanted this changed to that, etc)... Believe me: this is not a bad thing.  Remember, this is a custom-designed wall unit.  We were ecstatic to be able to choose, change, and rearrange any and all aspects of the design... including those aspects that had been initially created by Brent and/or us.  We settled on a final design, paid a deposit, and then waited for the project to get started.
A few weeks later (after the materials were ordered and received), the installers arrived for the big day.
It was, hands down, the best contractor experience - EVER!
Yes... and I am trying hard not to gush here... but the experience went over exceedingly well.
Every single one of the installers was overwhelmingly nice, courteous, and professional.
As the job went on (from about 9:30AM to about 5:00PM), the guys worked quietly and diligently.  They took a lunch break, sat outside on the front porch, and then hit the job running again just after noon.
Of course, as they progressed, my wife and I peppered (pestered?) them with project-related questions.  They not only answered each question thoroughly (which can often be a battle in and of itself), they also assured us of the accurateness of the plan, as well as the march toward a beautiful end result.
And what a great end result it is/was!  We love the wall unit.  And as the man of the house, I can tell that they are a truly trustworthy company... a company with whom you can invest not only your $$ and trust... but also the future value of your home.
Bottom line:  Organized Hawaii created an AWEsome addition to our home... and they did it with the style, courteousness, and professionalism that should be the standard in contracted improvements.
I wish I could submit a picture, but apparently AL does not allow that option.

    Furniture Medic By Rebecca Collins
Rebecca arrived late in the evening per her planned show up time. She got to work sanding the walls and repairing some damage I did to the door frame. Throughout the experience she was very professional, recommending ways for us to do some of the repairs ourselves in order to not cost too much money. She had fixed the majority of the walls within two hours and then let us do the simple painting the next day, which lowered our overall cost.

I am so unbelievably disappointed in this company.
I originally emailed them during the holiday time through Angie's List email tool, I believe on or around Christmas day.  I didn't receive a response until a few days later (January 3).  I already had a red flag go on in my mind that this person is either way too busy or just can't do things in a timely, PROFESSIONAL manner, but I figured it's the holidays, maybe she was just busy.  Her response was, "Yes ! Go ahead send me photos of the items you want to have stained and finished. I will get back to you in 48 hrs thanks for inquiring."
I emailed her back on January 6 with photos that I had taken of what I wanted to get done.  Waited 48 hours, as she had promised to get back to me within that exact time frame.  Still no response.  Do NOT promise customers that you will get back to them within "x" time frame and not get back to them within that time.
I emailed her again on January 10 (well over this "48 hour" response frame) just to follow up on it..
Still no response, today is January 12.
I am so sad that I even wasted time trying to wait to hear back from this person, when I could have easily looked up someone else.  I wanted to give her a chance due to her other good reviews on Angie's List, but her lack of ability to communicate with her customers in a prompt and timely manner makes me wonder if she has the same methods in her actual work.  I am thankful no money was spent with her, as who knows how long it would take her to actually do the work if it takes her that long to respond to emails.  I am a full-time student with two jobs, so trying to get in touch with people via the phone usually ends up in a long running game of phone tag.  This is why I prefer email or at most text, as I can do that more easily throughout the day.  She should not promise people that she will get back to them within "48 hours" and then have several DAYS pass with no word.  She should have at least told me she was busy or that her work load was too much if those were the cases.  I would have been far more understanding then.
