Morgan did a great job. He was on time and ready to work. He replaced 3 of my ceiling fans, one of which was having power issues so he gave some advise on possible ways to get repaired. He also looked at the broken door frame and gave his assessment along with an estimate, this even after I told him I had another contractor coming to fix it (this way I had an idea of what to expect in cost). He helped with patching a few holes in the wall, and gave me a container of puddy to keep. Best of all he said fee free to call him for any advise. You can tell he really cares about the work he does.

Russell J Larson - Master Carpenter & Tile Setter

It started off well. He had two young gentlemen he was teaching the craft so it was going slow. Which I didn't mind but the craftsmanship was horrible. The tiles on the floor were uneven, and the tiles in the shower were even worse.  The glass accent tile was lumpy, some parts rose really high and others sunk in really low. The medicine cabinet install was a complete joke; to compensate for the shallow wall, he used some really cheap white wood that eventually fell off.  He did not install actual base boards, but instead some generic wood he cute to look like a base board and didn?t even sink the nails and cover them.

His team was very messy, tracking dust throughout the house.  They cleaned their tools in my Kitchen sink and left all that white mess for me to clean up.

About halfway through the first bathroom, I had to let him go. You get what you pay for and his low cost almost cost me my entire remodel.

I went with a plywood maple stained white and semi-gloss krystal clear coat. The craftsmanship is way better then what you can find manufactured in a big box outlet for the price. The ends were capped off nicely with a flawless seam, lines were straight and edges flush, clear coat face to protect the wood, light stained whole cabinet for seal, cabinets carefully installed inline correctly matching the floor lines. They handpick quality wood so grains were nice, no knots, no warpage. The design layout is symmetrical and fits nicely into its location.

    Pikes Peak Home Improvement LLC
Jason Martinez, proprietor/operator of West Oahu Home Improvement, was the consummate professional from first impression through completion of the project. I  primarily hired Jason because of his veteran status after review of some of his smaller projects. I actively seek opportunities to hire vets because of their integrity and work ethic - I was not disappointed his military experience was apparent in the way he handled himself and dedication towards the job. He has good communication skills, which is, in my book, a critical performance factor when hiring someone. Also, Jason always answered his phone or promptly called me back when I needed to speak with him - he made himself available to me at all times during the project. His assistant, Keoki, maintained a high level of professionalism and pride in his work.
Jason went with me to the store after we reached an agreement for work performance. I had most of the material but did not have the flooring because moving it required a truck - he made his truck available to move the material to the condo and unloaded it.
I purchased high quality laminate flooring and wanted an installation with minimal transitions and maximum continuity throughout the interior. Why purchase high end material only to have transitions ruin the flow?? He  expertly planned the floor install in accordance with my desire, only using transition material in the bathroom and kitchen. Additionally, he cut the material to stagger joints resulting in a nicer appearance and more durable install. The floor looks great!
Throughout the project Jason consistently stated he was grateful for the work and told me to let him know what he could do to make sure that I was "completely satisfied." During the final walk through I put his prior statements to the test and he delivered - I was completely satisfied upon completion of the project.

Paul was really great on time even though I wasn't. It only took him four hours to do to put new drywall and framing in our guest bathroom I'm making an appointment now to get him to finish the bathroom floors and walls with tile because he really made it very easy. Was a big relief for my husband to come home and have all the work finished.

    Mr Fixit Handyman Services
I called John (Mr. Fixit) based on his positive reviews and I have to say that they were absolutely correct.   He called me back promptly to tell me that he was in the middle of a job but we set a time when he could call me back.  He then called me back when he said he would and we discussed the work I wanted done.  We set an appointment and then he actually showed up on time.  I have been mistreated by some contractors and it is refreshing to work with someone who does what they say they are going to do.
John accompanied me to the store to purchase the new faucet and some other items.  I had already purchased the new light fixture and the AC window unit. He charges by the hour but he worked fast so even with the trip to the store the total bill was more than reasonable.
John replaced the bathroom faucet and installed the AC window unit very quickly and professionally.   When he repaired the broken towel bar, he created a smooth finish on the dry wall with a single stroke.  I can tell that he is flexible and has a lot of different skills.
He did have a little trouble with the ceiling light because the screws provided with the fixture did not fit into the old, non-standard electrical box in my ceiling.  It actually fit on one side and not the other. He was able to cut  down one of  the screws using a Dremel so that it fit perfectly and the new fixture looks great.
I'm very happy with the work and the price and plan to have him back again soon to do some more work.

We first hired Morgan to renovate our kitchen 2 years ago.  The project took 1 month.  We expected it to be much longer and many of our friends were surprised to hear how quickly it was done.  Morgan was always punctual.  He did his best to keep our budget on track and offered many insights in the design process.  I had a vision of what I wanted but it turned out so much better after collaborating with Morgan.  Since our renovation two years ago, I have asked Morgan to help us with many other projects - big and small.
Our friends have also hired him and they have all be just as pleased.

    Downs Home Service
I had 17 rotten siding panels on the exterior of my house. Mr. Kevin Downs replaced all panels with a much more durable composite material and painted them to perfectly match the rest of the house. Mr. Downs did a very professional job and the house is better than new. I will use Downs Home Services again!
