    Motivated Movers
We sold our home last year and hired them to pack us up and load everything into storage while our new home was being built. Jeff, the owner, came out and was really friendly and provided us a quote of $1,275 to pack and move to storage and then $900 to move out of storage and into our new home. After we signed the paperwork to move into our new home they altered it - increasing the amount from the $900 they quoted to $4k+! They damaged TONS of our furniture, ruined our new walls and door, broke hardware, deep gouges to wooden furniture, broken electronics, broken decorations on and on. Their workers admitted they had damaged everything and assured us the owner would make it right and correct the paperwork. He did no such thing. The following morning we emailed Jeff - the owner, pictures of the damages and asked him to come and inspect everything and take care of us and correct the contract to reflect their quote. Instead he refused and demanded immediate payment for the $4k figure. When we insisted a representative come out he refused and instead sued us! The judge awarded us damages in our countersuit and to date they have ignored numerous emails and calls attempting to get them to honor the Court Order.

    INTERSTATE RELOCATION SERVICES
Worst moving company EVER! DO NOT USE! Will extort you! Got quote after giving a very detailed description of items and the fact that our washer and dryer were on the second floor. We were told we would be able to change the date of the movers coming up to the week before (as we werent exactly sure of our closing date). When we tried to reschedule and move it up three days, we were told (by a VERY rude woman) that was not possible. The movers would come when they would come and they still ended up showing up a day late, in the late afternoon. While packing, they consumed our beer in the garage, uninvited. When they were finally done packing our stuff at one in the morning, the difference from the quote to what we owed had TRIPLED! Including, but not limited to a $200 surcharge for the washer and dryer on the second floor that was not mentioned when we received the quote. We had gone from a $2,500 quote to $7,500!!!! We were now held hostage as our whole lives were on this moving truck and my three children (all three and under) had to sleep on the floor as we were unable to leave (because of the movers) for Atlanta that day. My husband had to drive around to various ATMS at one am to get the required remaining balance due (we had enough and a little extra for them originally but when the amount owed tripled, we were obviously short. On the road, the woman was unable to set a date when they would arrive and we werent sure when we would be getting our belonging until the night before. Leaving my three children to sleep on blow up mattresses and have virtually no clothes (we had packed enough but were not expecting the truck to take over two weeks from Boston to Atlanta- approx.. 10 days longer than we had been told it would take!). The moving company finally called us on Easter Sunday to let us know our furniture would be arriving the next day so we had to run around to various ATMs to ensure we had the money. The movers refused to unload anything until they were paid in full. Three movers showed up, one needed to leave early but ended up getting in a fight with his boss after being told no, this resulted in him walking off the job. One of the remaining workers thought it unfair to do the work with now only two movers and not get paid more (he asked his boss and the boss said no, this is all over the phone) so he left. This left my husband and one mover to unload the truck. The remaining mover, bless his heart, literally dumped our washing machine off the truck using the pully. Then, drove off with our ladder. The claims process (as you can guess, a lot was damaged) was tedious (requires three photos per each item, an itemized list, etc. and took hours to compile as well as costing $20 to complete. They finally responded, after jumping through many hoops (email here, then call if you wish to proceed..) and offered us $60 for all of our damaged goods. Just going by the .60 cents per pound per article listed in our contract, we were owed upwards of $500. Never got a response back when we disputed this and here we are today, my blood still boiling at the treatment we received and the extortion we went through. DO NOT USE this company, I have moved many times; across country and overseas and have never felt this way or written a bad word, until today. Save yourself the anguish and go with someone else!!!

    Kent's Pack & Load
Nick was excellent to work with and the job was done on time and very efficiently. I paid by the hour and was very pleased with how quickly it was performed. Unlike other movers I contacted, Kent's did not charge an extra fee for the trucks because the move was all within their home town.

    PODS Moving and Storage
We unpacked everything down there. I got my stuff and nothing was broken or damaged. We called them and let them know we were going down there and they picked it up and it was there in a couple days and they called us to let us know it was there. The person on the phone helped us and explained the size of the pods and asked about the size of the house and explained everything to us.

    Kent's Pack & Load
I spoke to Nick from Kent's Pack & Load, he was always polite and professional. He gave estimated time and price for the move when he visited the house for assessment. On the move day they came right on and also got one extra helper with the crew with no additional charge. The crew were careful in picking boxes that were marked fragile/glass. They disassembled beds and assembled them back at the house. They were careful at the new house that was newly finished floors and walls, the put a rug on the floor to not bring dirt in, there were no scratches or scuffs on floors or walls in the end. I would definitely do business again with Nick from Kent's Pack and load and I would recommend others to use him as well.

    Olympic Park Pro Movers
I've used their movers for work and recommend to just about any one thinking of relocation. Their crew was quick, respectful, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with. I had to confirm the move last minute. Be sure, you are just in good hands with these movers, I can't appreciate their work highly enough.

    Kent's Pack & Load
I'm a grumpy old Marine who's impossible to please. I met with Nick, the owner of Kent's Pack & Load to discuss our move from Woodstock to Canton, GA. He surveyed our belongings and came up with several alternative approaches. When my wife insisted that we had to have a guaranteed move of everything, Nick came up with a two truck 5 man approach that he said could move everything in one day. They showed up on time, wrapped all the furniture, artwork, made special containers for the lamps, TV and mirrors. They were efficient, professional and never ever complained about moving things once unpacked. It was a typical August day in Atlanta, 96 degrees and all the men were constantly working. I highly recommend Kent's Pack & Load if you need a professional mover. They made our move a lot easier than we anticipated. We added a tip for the guys because of their pleasant, professional attitude. I tell you that just so you might consider doing the same. It was unexpected but greatly appreciated.y

    Kent's Pack & Load
Nick and his team were great.  We had a three guy team including NIck.  Frank and Richard were very polite and careful with everything.  They asked questions to make sure they knew exactly which items were going and how I wanted it packed (wrapped or not), and where it was to be unloaded.  They were aware of the budgeted time and worked very efficiently to make sure we stayed on track.  They were even able to move one bed downstairs that was to remain in the home, and pack some of the garage items that I had not had time to do.  I was concerned that I would have to leave those and come back to get those myself, but his team did a great job packing and loading those too, so that we got everything in one trip!
Also, Nick was very careful with my office desk suggesting that he would prefer to take it apart to make sure nothing broke during the move, then reassembled it once at the new house.  He did the same with the crib and toddler bed.  While the move went slightly longer than expected, Nick was able to work with us to make sure we were completely satisfied with the move - which we definitely were!  I would highly recommend him and his team, and would use him again....although hopefully I won't have to for a very long time!  =)
    Best regards and good luck,
    Trey

    LONE STAR MOVING
I recently transferred from San Angelo, TX, to Atlanta, GA, and needed to get three quotes for my company.  I called the big names first.  Some of them said they were too busy and couldn't get to our job within the needed timeframe.  Those who did come and give me a quote were nice but ended up being $3,000 more than the quote from Lone Star.  Nick Ohman was my primary contact and was the one who did the office and home estimate.  Ray was in charge of the packing and was the driver of the truck that brought my stuff to Atlanta.  At every step of the move, Nick and Ray were first class in communication and accommodation.  They did a wonderful job in packing and our good arrived in very good shape.  The real story begins, though with the journey that Ray took from San Angelo to Atlanta.  Ray had to drive through storms that ended up in Louisiana becoming a disaster area because of flooding.  As he drove through rising waters and rerouted around impassable areas, he maintained contact to update us on his ETA. Amazingly, he arrived on the day he was supposed to have done, though a little exhausted from the difficulty of the drive.
I can't recommend Lone Star Moving/Angelo Apartment Movers highly enough.  They went well above and beyond the call of duty and did so at a price significantly less than others were bidding.  Thanks Nick and Ray for the great service!
