Overall, it went well. The office, however, nearly always runs far behind, even when you have one of the first appointments in the afternoon or morning.

We have used Dr Getts since moving here in 2012. I work in the medical field in pediatrics and I have found out that not only do I like Dr. Getts but he is a VERY well respected physician in the hospital setting as well. He is professional, polite, thorough and caring. He truly cares about the well being of my children and also tries to fit everything in with what is comfortable for my family as well. Yes, it is a Christian setting which is perfect for us but please, if that doesn't work for you, do NOT let that let that deter you from choosing them. You're not beat over the head with it or anything and I feel that someone from any religion would feel comfortable going there. They have an office in Martinez, a smaller one in Grovetown and they opened up Augusta's only Urgent Care for kids which is a lifesaver. I have seen everyone in the both practices for one reason or another. They have all been WONDERFUL and people I would trust doing primary care for either of my children. The staff is also very nice-I haven't had an issue with anyone from the nurses, medical assitants, billing or scheduling. I especially love Dr. Getts nurse Sam. She is knowledgable, friendly, prompt with call backs and always tries to do what she can to help me avoid having to drag my kiddos in if its not needed.

I like that they have an after hours clinic that is very efficient. They do not have a lot of turnover, so there is a lot of longevity and long term care. They are part of the pediatricians that make the rounds at the hospital, so a lot of people meet them because they are the pediatricians that come through after you have a baby. They are very caring; it's like these are their own kids, and they are very professional.

The experience with Dr. Massey has been great over the first four months of our son's life. She always takes the time to understand exactly what is going on with our son and is very thorough. She also always takes the time to understand how me and my wife are doing adjusting to being first-time parents. I would highly recommend her as a pediatrician.

I really like their expertise. It is one of those situations that you know, after dealing with them, that you can be confident that they are not just playing the numbers and percentages, they are considering every little detail and possibility. They and their staff are bilingual.

We love Pediatric Partners of Augusta. Our primary doctor is Dr. Debbie Benoit-Harris, and she is wonderful. She takes everything seriously while never blowing anything out of proportion or subjecting the kids to unnecessary tests. She's kind and personable enough that the kids look forward to seeing her despite the possibility of shots. As great as she is, though, we love that every other doctor we've seen there has been just as wonderful. When she was on vacation in 2006, our young son came down with Kawasaki's disease, the leading cause of acquired heart defect in kids in the US. The other doctors came into the room, figured out what was wrong (it's quite uncommon, despite its serious effects) and got him to the hospital in time to prevent any serious long-term damage. Our recent bout with pneumonia (2013) was handled by Dr. Harris with calm and effective professionalism and our daughter was better in a jiffy. Over the years, they've always had a consistently awesome team: nurses and doctors and front office staff.
