Deck Defender Pressure Washing & Staining LLC
Allegedly, he believes that running over protesters in the street is funny and even offered to contribute money to the car detail job of this one guy who did ran over protesters. Last time I checked: pedestrians have right-away over drivers. I personally wouldn't spend money on someone who have such disregard for human life.

    ASAP SPOTLESS
Went great, they got a very dirty deck very clean and came the next day and applied an attractive stain. Helped me choose the best stain color for our home.

Went well. The crew was timely, supervised, skilled--knew their business well. The owner was communicative, up front about pricing (which was reasonable) and able to respond quickly to issues that came up during the course of the project (rotten wood, etc.). All too often, with prior projects using other painters, I have been dumped into the role of "general contractor", where the project grows well beyond what was contemplated at conception and I am forced to contact various craftsmen, navigating and coordinating between them along the way. In this project, we had a skilled crew which included a very capable carpenter--always a necessity when dealing with an exterior painting project.

Fresh Coat Painters of Columbus GA
Fresh coat did a very good job. They were on time, worked steady and cleaned up afterwards. The job took two days to complete. Walt and Joey were very polite to me and did all minor repairs for prep and did very good painting. I would hire again.

    Area Painting Co
The house, deck and porch was power washed on April 16th and the deck was sealed on April 18th.  Ronnie Fuller called me after I found this company on Angie's List right away after I called.  He had health problems so he sent his son to come here so he could look at what I wanted and he took pictures.  I was soon called by Ronnie Fuller with the estimate and scheduled an appointment for his son to do the job.  His son came about 15 minutes earlier than he said and was very professional in how he performed this task.  He came two day later to seal the deck.  He again came 15 minutes earlier than we said.  I am impressed with this company and the work done.  I have painting in the house and will call them again!  I also think this price was very reasonable!

    Concrete Colorz LLC
I was referred by word of mouth to Concrete Colorz to perform concrete acid staining in the main living area of a home. I was given 2 quotes on the phone, 1 quote if the concrete was prepped, 1 quote if they had to do the prep work. I was quoted $2.50 and $3.00 respectively. After phone conversation the owner came to view the property and confirmed square footage and final quote. The quote given was the final price charged. No hidden fees or no show. They offer a variety of colors and also offered a number of locations to visit to see prior work, Spa Auburn being one of them. Their prices were at least 35% less expensive than competitors. Again, they were timely, efficient, and did what they said they would do for the price they said they'd do it. Can't ask for much more than that.

    My Right Hand Man
Jason and crew showed up promptly and went straight to work. He met us at Home Depot, where he had already placed the materials order, so that we could buy them ourselves. In other words, he didn't attempt to profit from the materials. We were provided with receipts. He and his guys showed up every day, first thing, and worked steadily. They even came on Sunday to finish the job! Jason communicated with us through the entire job, letting us know if there were any changes so there were no surprises. The deck couldn't have come any closer to our expectations! Great, solid construction, no shortcuts and attention to detail seem to be his way of doing things. And the project came in on budget! We will definitely call Jason again if we need a contractor!

    SOUTHERN PAINTING
I enjoyed working with Patrick. He's easy to talk to, and very professional. He answered my questions, and provided a detailed estimate, on the spot. Later copies of the estimate and invoice, generated by computer, were accurate, complete and attractive. Patrick communicated well with his crewmen, and made sure that work was done as we had agreed. The crewmen were friendly, skillful and efficient. The work looks good, and included the interior of my screen porch, which I had not expected. During the job, I asked about some add-on work, painting bathroom cabinets. The price was reasonable, so we agreed to do it. I later realized we had forgotten about a cabinet in another area of a split bathroom. Patrick had that cabinet painted at no extra charge, in the interest of completeness. Not counting the power washing, done several days early, the job lasted 3 full days, performed by 3 workmen, with Patrick providing support and possibly additional labor. That's as best as I can figure, since I was not there most of the time. I made one suggestion to Patrick, for future consideration. My house is about 15 years old. The shingle molding available to make repairs was not quite a perfect match to what is on the house. His carpenter had removed small sections -- about 12 inches long -- of rot, and put in the new material. That's normal repair. But, I'd prefer not to have 2 imperfect joints so close together. I'd suggest using longer pieces -- possibly full 8-foot sticks -- for each repair. The extra material would have to be figured into the cost.

Walt and his guys were excellent! I will definitely use him again for any paint or staining jobs I have, and have already recommended him to my family. Walt is an Army veteran, an added plus in my view. The job was completed in a timely manner and my fence looks wonderful!   My wooden privacy fence mildewed badly over the winter, and was in dire need of cleaning and staining. Walt had the best price of the three proposals I received, and he stuck to that price even when my shadow box fence proved to be in need of more stain than his software indicated it should. At no time did he or his painters try to skimp on stain or cut corners. At one point I grew concerned at the amount of stain they were going through and asked them if they needed to be so thorough and use so much on the second coat, as it was costing their boss money. They said Walt would walk the fence and it had to be done right because that was what Walt wanted, and what I should get as a customer. It says a lot in how employees think of their boss, and it was obvious that these guys had great regard and respect for Walt. I hate to say it but their standards when staining the fence were higher than mine, and I'm a very picky person! The painters, Matt, another Walt and Russ, were very polite, friendly and neat. Very nice young men. They cleaned up after themselves and worked hard. With my permission they even worked on Sunday to finish up before it rained on Monday. Walt checked on them daily to see if they needed anything, brought more stain, and brought them lunch.  Fresh Coat's slogan of "Painting done Right" is dead on. If you want a professional painting company with high work standards, I highly recommend you give Walt a call.
