Victor and Tommy are my two favorites!!! They can get ANY job done. We have used them for years and highly recommend them!!! There is no job too small or big for these guys. Today they helped hang some curtains, fixed my kitchen sink, helped with a toilet paper holder and helped me replace I lightbulb because I could not figure out how to open it even after watching multiple YouTube videos! Friendly, professional and efficient!!! Give them a call, you won’t regret it!

James and Co. came out after quoting me a very VERY generous price and spent around 8 hours assembling this shed. Even though they didn't expect it to take so long they were very kind a kept on trucking in the super hot sun! They were very respectable with all the parts being careful and cautious and also making sure they did it right. Well worth the money. I can honestly say a 10/10 on this job. They also shared some tips with me on how to repair a sagging fence as well as an easy way to cement my shed. Thanks! Will contact for help again!

These people were excellent. I contacted them the first week of July in relations to rebuilding a porch and relacing my bathroom floor. Within two days I got a written estimate and liscening verfication. The next day they came to my house not only on time but an hour early. They not only properly disposed of all the old wood but informed me of a lead paint problem I had and proceeded to properly contain and dispose of that waste as well. For no extra charge, he fixed my toilet and plumbing and even used shingles in my backyard to create a roofline for my porch. It was a job costing$ 2500 but he probably did about $6000 worth of work. He charged me the minimal amount for everything and gave me invoices for all of the parts. I would recommend them to any home owner. They even cleaned out branches and leaves from my street drain for. They did a lot of freebies for no extra charge. They did everything in a professional manner and pointed out things that could be harmful to me as a homeowner.

    JW Smith & Sons, LLC
Contract was drawn up and an initial payment of $6875 was paid mid March to begin the job with additional funds due at the time of completion.  Also in the contract was any materials not utilized would be refunded to me The job was originally to use railroad ties, but I found out they couldn't be used near the water due to cresol. Mr. Smith suggested telephone poles, with an additional price of $200. I questioned this due to the round meeting round and the possibility of gaps.  He assured me that by the time he tied the wall together with rebar and backed with heavy landscaping fabric that this would not be an issue, the wall would be stable.  He delayed the job a couple weeks because he said he couldn't get the original supplier he was using to deliver the dirt.  Then he "changed" suppliers and the job began. It took about four days at which time he asked me to take a look and release the remainder of the money $2,650.  I asked about my refund for the poles and the dirt that had been overestimated.  He said I had about $178 coming back.  I looked at the job and immediately expressed concern due to "large" gaps in the wall.  He spent some time stuffing one 2x4 into one of many gaps and said he would be back tomorrow to fix all the gaps.  I gave him $1,125 of the remainder of my contracted agreement.  On April 19th it rained and much of the 21 yards of dirt began escaping into the lake.  The same day, I received a "Notice to Owner" from the dirt company stating a lien would be placed on my home if the bill was not paid.  I called Mr. Smith who drove out and looked at the job stating it was "totally his responsibility and he would make it right."  He also said he made an agreement with the dirt company and they should have never contacted me with the Notice to Owner and he would "take care of it."  He asked for the remainder of the money to which I responded I was not comfortable giving him anymore money until the job was done correctly, and the suppliers paid.  Now for the rest of the story.  He has not been back, nor will he take any responsibility for the job he performed.  At the advise of my attorney, I paid the dirt company to prevent the lien from being filed (and additional $2,140.  The attorney sent a letter asking Mr. Smith to contact him regarding his license number and putting resolution to fixing the wall, bringing in more dirt, or returning my money since I would need to hire someone to fix all the issues.  Mr. Smith did call and informed the attorney he is in fact, not licensed (he states he is on Angile's list).  He also told the attorney after a second letter was sent that he doesn't have the resources needed to fix the job, he would be willing to give me $3,020, but would need 90 days to do this.  I declined his offer of the money since it would cost me more to do the repairs that what he was stating he would give me, and believe me I have my doubts I would ever see any money from Mr. Smith at all.    I have made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau on June 9, to which he has not responded.  He left me no alternative. At the suggestion of my attorney I filed a complaint with the Department of Business and Professional Regulations due to him contracting without a license, which is considered a fraudulent act.  I filed the complaint on July 10.  The attorney stated once the DBPR reviews my complaint with all the backup documentation included along with pictures, they would turn it over to the State Attorney's Office.  Between the money I have paid Mr. Smith, the money I paid to prevent the lien and the attorney fee's I am now into this project for $10,165. and have absolutely nothing good to show for the money spent.  The wall is deficient and continues to develop additional issues and with each rain a little more of the dirt washes into the lake.  At some point I may have a beautiful sandy beachfront, which was not my goal.  My goal was to bring the elevation of the dirt above the cypress knees to avoid myself or my better half from tripping and falling as we attempted to weed eat a large area of soggy water vegetation.  At the rate of funds I have paid out, I could have hired a landscaper to weed eat for many, many years.  This is just one more example of how someone of retirement age can be taken advantage of my a smooth talking person that represents himself well as being a professional with good business ethics, when in fact he definitely is not! If you are considering contracting with JW Smith and Sons, LLC please reconsider.  I would not wish my experience on anyone, it was a very costly mistake.
