Willing to answer and explain any questions you may have. If they need to come back to finish up job, they return and complete. AHobbs RemodelingThis is our second project with Hobbs and we are even happier than the first project! We did not anticipate that we would need them back so soon, but a leak in our house from all the rain required immediate attention. They responded within minutes of me reaching out, came out the very next day to assess the situation, and then came out the next business day to perform the work. They were at our home for eight solid hours of work and accomplished so much more than I would’ve imagined in just one day. The work was done perfectly, efficiently, and at a very fair price. It has been raining for a couple of days now, and we just have to smile because there is not one drop coming in our house! Billy was available for any questions and clarifications about the work that needed to be done and flexible to help accommodate any changes we needed to make along the way. The entire experience was so good that after a year when we wanted to replace the front door and fix a few other things that needed to be dealt with, Billy helped us with finding the perfect door and making sure all the other items on our list were taken care of. Anytime we had questions or needed to make some minor adjustments to the work list, Billy was always available and extremely helpful making sure everything got done just how we wanted it. We still have a few things we want to do to the house in the next few years and I will be contacting Billy and A-1 as soon as we’re ready for those. ANorthgate Doors replaced my garage’s double door with an insulated Hormann door, installed a high lift to raise the door to within 12 inches of my 12 foot garage ceiling and installed a new torsional opener. (So the door’s Jackshaft is rotated by the opener rather than a center opener pulling/ pushing the door). When open, the door is completely out of the way and there is no opener in the middle of my ceiling either. Nothing blocking my garage lights or ceiling fans. Installation took 1/2 day. Working with Northgate was painless. They were very professional and not pushy like another big garage door company in Chattanooga.

AVery responsive and provided a reasonable price, better than the competition, and importantly they could get the work done by the timeline we needed. Some of the competition were looking at several months out, they promised to have it done within a month...and they met that promise. There were a few issues along the way, all resolved amicably and professionally. Although they are a small company, they did things well on this project and I'd hire them again.
