Phil came out within a week of receiving my phone information from Angie's Listto discuss the work I wanted done. In fact he came by the house and left his card in my mailbox because I had an old phone number listed with Angie that no longer worked.  I had some drawings and ideas, and Phil offered suggestions. I had several trees that needed removed before any work could be completed. Phil was very professional when a tree service he uses came to do an estimate and it turned out that I had called them for an estimate also. I hired the tree company separately, and Phil waited to finalize his work until the trees were done. After several rounds of drawings and estimates (because I kept changing my mind based on what I really wanted/needed once I knew costs), we landed on the work that would be completed. Phil's crew came out on time each day, and cleaned up each day. The main work took about a week, then the fence, then the fence painters. Along the way, Phil recommended that I consider sprinklers for the area with the sod and flower beds. He suggested a system that is controlled in a box in the yard and he completed that work for $700 - which I thought was very fair. Every time I needed to discuss the work with Phil, he was more than willing to work with me to come to a satisfactory result. I had concerns that the terrace walls would not be high enough - he made it perfect. I had concerns that the garden soil in the planting bed was not deep enough, he came out and fixed it.
Gardening is my hobby, so I wanted to plant my numerous perennials that were in pots, and Phil's crew helped me by digging up several roses that I wanted to move. He offered to have his crew plant for me, but I wanted to do it myself. The flower bed is looking great. Many of my neighbors have come by and told me how much they like the yard and how they are looking forward to seeing the flowers in the spring and summer next year.
Phil also gave me a discount for being an  Angie's List customer.

Ron's Lawn Care, Roofing Repairs, Fencing
Ronnie and Randy fixed my chain link fence in several places. They charged me for materials used. No mark up.
They cut some tree limbs and cleaned up.
They put the limbs in neat piles for trash pick up. I told him they would not be picked up, but I would see. They did not pick up the limbs. I also noticed one pole that was loose. Not one they had replaced.
I called up Ronnie and they came back right a way and picked up the limbs the Trash man did not pick up! and fixed the loose pole.
I was pleased with the work and quick response!

    Affordable Fence Of Georgia
We scheduled a consult in June. In August they came out and spoke with us about building materials, locking mechanisms for the gate, etc. So we gave him a check for $1500.00 and scheduled the install for about a month later. On August 28th, the check was cashed and we didn't hear back from them. At the end of September, he finally put the order in for the gate. Around that time, he scheduled us for the first week of October. They re-scheduled on us twice at the beginning of October. Once he said it was because the gate had not been completed by the manufacturer and the other time he said it was because of weather. On October 20th, he re-scheduled a third time because the gate was still not ready. He scheduled us for ten days later but didn't actually show up until seventeen (November 6th) days later. He put the gate in and was then going to do a keypad lock for us. On the 14th they put the key pad on. The gate was designed such that there were iron bars (so someone could reach their arm through if they wanted to) which was fine, but they placed the key pad within reach. When we asked him about it he said it wouldn't be a problem and stated that, "It's not about security, it's about the illusion of security." We paid him the rest of the money. When I called and spoke with the office, they said they'd never installed that type of key pad lock before on a driveway gate (at least not the way they'd done it for our gate). So they came back in December and cut part of the gate off. On December 12th they put the kind of lock they typically install on our gate instead and gave us a partial refund. When I was asked why we didn't receive a full refund for the lock portion of our bill, he said it was because they had already incurred a large cost when restoring the gate. Around December 30th I noticed that the Maglock was mostly plastic and that it was starting to chip. We ended up having to take that lock off of the gate. Early this year (Jan or Feb) he came back out because one of the sides of the gate was sagging (it wasn't level) and the gate wasn't ligning up properly. He adjusted some springs but it still doesn't lign up properly and one side is still drooping. I called them again and they said they'd come back in March. They finally made it back out today (April 21st), and I showed him and his partner the drooping. They messed with it a little bit and they said it's level, but it's not. Mike got angry with me and told me that our house is not level and that there is something wrong with the wooden post that the gate is attached to. The post is level and the installation looks fine, but it looks like a manufacturer error to me on one gate side. I told him that I don't install gates but that what he was telling me didn't make sense. At that point he started yelling at me and told me that I'm right, I don't install gates and that he'd come out multiple times at no charge. At that point I asked him to leave.

    All Star Fence
They arrived mid-afternoon and set all posts prior to leaving for day. Arrived on time the next morning and by the end of the day we had a completed fence. They were very professional, working without a lot of breaks during the day. Kept the materials in a neat and orderly fashion. Very, very pleased with our experience with All Star Fence.

    Summit Fence
From start to finish, Mr. Tuck and his crew were exceptional.  The fence looks amazing.  Summit Fence was extremely professional, prompt, and courteous.  Pricing was ideal and the job was completed extremely quickly.  They cleaned up very well and did a lot of little things that they didn't have to do - they are a company that goes the extra mile.  If I ever need another fence built, I WILL be calling Mr. Tuck and Summit Fence.  Outstanding company!

    AMERICA FENCE CO
I'd called other companies for repairs to my chain link fence and was given the "We have a minimum charge." statement first.  Jill at America Fence made no such statement.  Instead, she asked me to describe my need, the approximate measurements, then called and E-mailed a quote within a couple of hours.  I appreciated that process and her service, so made arrangements for the repairs. She worked with my schedule and Bill came out on Saturday - arrived early - and finished the job on the spot.
I am very pleased with the process and the job and am pleased to recommend America Fence.  /  BEB.

    First Fence of Georgia
Very smooth and professional sales process. Sales person showed up when they were supposed to, e-mail reminders from the office before hand. We went through one iteration on price which resulted in a quote below what we had received from other companies and an offer to upgrade the wood for free. We paid half up front and the crew came out the day they were supposed to and got most of the job done the same day. They returned the next day to finish up and left behind a neat and tidy work-site. Particularly impressed by their willingness to troubleshoot on the spot. We discovered a spot where the posts wouldn't go in. The supervisor and the on-site crew figured out a solution, and installed without compromising on the look of the fence and with no charge to us. All in all, a very positive experience. The job got done as it was supposed to, for the right price and with zero hassle to us. One of my best ever experiences with a service provider.
