    A Degree Above The Rest
    They replaced a capacitor and charged an additional $75 service fee and $150 to clean the coil. I typically pay $150-$200 to replace a capacitor, which includes the service fee. I have been in property management for 20 years and am familiar with average costs of common repairs. A capacitor is common and I have replaced quite a few in this period of time. To make matters worse, they did maintenance on the unit a few months prior. At the time I asked for them to thoroughly inspect the unit, because it was a rental property and I did not want the new tenants having issues. When they inspected it and serviced it then, they cleaned the coils without giving me a price. They just added it on to the bill. I was upset then, because they did not suggest this additional expense, much less quote it. Now, a few months later, they go on and repair call and just add a fee to clean the coil on the bill. Again, this was just added with out consult. Most people clean their coils every few years, if at all. If someone is really vigilant, they will do it once a year. I do not know if they actually cleaned my coils the first time. However, when I questioned this, they did send me a picture of what appeared to be a toilet brush with some dust on top of it. I don���t know if it was dirt from the coil or not or if it was even from my coil. All I know is cleaning coils twice in a year and not mentioning the price either time is excessive and abusive.

    Great. I used Jeremy for a second opinion. The original servicer was a RIP-off. Jeremy diagnosed the problem correctly and performed the repair at half the price estimated by the company I did not use. I Highly recommend Jeremy and will use him for HVAC moving forward. He is very professional and does quality work.

    Dino's service was beyond belief! I'd just returned from nearly a week stay in the hospital. My wife was with me. I had turned the air units off before we left. Because it was so hot, the upstairs unit failed when I turned it on. I should have left it on at least at a higher temp. But I was heading to the Emergency Room when we left and wasn���t thinking straight. So, this was all my fault. I called Aaron Services. Not surprising all their people were out on jobs. I took next day AM schedule and they put me in if an opening came up. (We could sleep downstairs). Five minutes later I got a call and was told Dino was in the area and was on his way. He arrived, checked it out and told us the compressor was gone, and we needed a new one. He could do it but it would take a ���few hours��� and presented us with a cost of $1875.00. My wife got upset thinking of hospital bills etc. We still had a warranty on the unit but Dino explained that there was a lot to the installation. He showed me pictures of how he had tried to revive the old compressor. I thought it was fair. Well, Dino didn���t leave our house ���until 8 hours later.��� As he worked on it he found that he didn't have a parts etc. He insisted that one of his counterparts come in from Grayson and bring them to him. He cancelled "four" other jobs he had scheduled for that afternoon and asked his management for support, that "he wasn't going to leave our house until he got our air running!" From what I learned it takes great know-how and capability to do a job like this. The quoted price was certainly reasonable. But his effort to get it done for us that day was ���priceless.��� My wife and I are blessed to now have Dino as a friend. He is a special person. Thank you Dino! Thank you Aaron Services.

    Space was limited and the project obviously was complicated by the presence of dry wall and other components of the home. Johnny Stine, the sale guy, was fantastic. He took a lot of time to understand what I wanted and then worked with Jeffrey, a lead installer, to make sure they could do what I wanted. We had a plan. The install team arrived on time but with no Johnny or Jeffrey. I was apprehensive that what we had discussed may not have been communicated correctly to the install team. Boy was I wrong, Jerry Z., Samuel M. and Aley Y. knew exactly what the plan was and explained it to me perfectly. The level of communication between sales/design and the install team was perfect. To make it better, the install went off without a hitch. Dry wall damage (it had to happen to do the install) was a minimum and the system is fantastic. I have found my HVAC company. Could not be happier.

    Because I am enrolled in their Comfort Club program they send a technician to my home to check my system each spring and fall. I've been in this program since they installed my system a few years back. They automatically call me to schedule these appointments, they show up on time and do a great job ensuring my system is running perfectly. This time they also checked the furnace exhaust to make sure it was hooked up properly after a new roof install. The technicians are friendly and professional. I appreciate the service I receive from this company.

    My original 23 year old units, covered by home warranty, were costing more to maintain than was worth it. A friend recommended Premier, Steve came out and inspected everything, made suggestions and was able to schedule to install both entirely new systems two days later. I never even met these guys in person, but the whole team was amazing. I will refer them to anyone needing HVAC services, and look forward to working with them in the future on maintenance, etc. Best service ever!

    I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I'm not sure how anybody given the following evidence would NOT feel RS Andrews had attempted to defraud them: I had a maintenance contract with RS Andrews. The administrative people did a great job scheduling and are always friendly. The technicians almost always try to sell me new units when they came to do maintenance. I do have old units, so I wasn't too upset about that. Finally, after the last visit, my upstairs unit was not cooling. My technician said my system needed 3 to 4 pounds of coolant, a chemical clean of both condenser coils and a new capacitor (so approx $881 from his suggested maintenance quote). I decided to buy new units, and I contacted other providers for comparison quotes. The first provider who looked at my system said I did not need new units and repaired my upstairs unit simply by cleaning it with a water hose (which the RS Andrews technician should have done as part of the maintenance contract) and adding a pound of coolant. Because it was a sales call, the total cost including coolant was $120, and that unit is cooling great now. Obviously, I won't be doing business with RS Andrews again.
