    It was great. He arrived early, was waiting for me on one of the snow days we had and I knew it would be hard to get there.
    Got me there in no time at all with no stress or problems. Friendly and very helpful. I would certainly use them again.

    R & M Marine Services
    I filed a complaint with the BBB, here is the text of that complaint:
    Robert Burton had done work for me in the past 3 years on a previous boat and my current Regal Cruiser.  This year Robert has been falling way behind on getting things done.  Robert had been repeatedly promising to deliver on work he promised me to do that he later forgets his commitments.  I later learned that he has been making the same promises to me and and other boat owners at the same time, not delivering to any of us.  
    What I recognize today is R&M Marine is managed as a ponzi scheme.  He takes payments up front to perform work on a boat, then spends that money, then has to take in other work with payments to have funds to deliver on older work orders, falling far behind on finishing any work.  I see boats today that have been sitting in his yard for over a year not getting done, one cruiser over 3.5 years.  Robert continues to promise every day and week to get my work done, then doesn't deliver, lied for over 4 months now.  I've been waiting now for FOUR MONTHS to get my work done, he still makes promises he has no intention to ever honor, never acknowledges the lies he continues to tell.  I'm hearing from other marine mechanics that tell how R&M Marine is a great source of new business for them because of these broken promises.  The business number he advertises is 678-550-3639 on the front of his shop is on a fax machine because he does not want to hear from his customers bugging him about broken promises.  
    Robert owes me for labor to replace bad seals my stern drive, mount an air horn, repair a broken lock on my cabin door and replace a porthole cover in my dash that he lost.  He offered to perform these repairs in exchange for the long list of broken promises of the past.  Today, I have no reason to believe he will ever honor his own promises because he really could care less about his tarnished reputation or his making it worse.  Some customers have filed charges and had the county sherrif remove their boats by court order.  At least my boat is not trapped in his yard.
    What I'm trying to recover:
    I would rather Robert simply perform the work he promised me but he won't do that.  His time is focused on new revenue and I'm simply another broken promise that offers no revenue for his ponzi scheme.  I would like to see a refund in labor dollars based on rates he charged me in the past at $75/hour times 8 hours = $600.
    I know there is ZERO chance of getting either the labor or money back but I at least need to go on record to warn other boaters to avoid being scammed by R&M Marine.

    Thomas arrived at our home on time.  He was polite and courteous. He got us to the airport in a timely manner and his car was comfortable and clean. He met us at the airport on our return. We called Thomas on our cell phone after we reached baggage claim and he met us in maybe five minutes. It was not a long time at all.

    The only issue we had was payment. If you are going to use this service, have cash with you. Thomas has a credit card device for his phone, but he has trouble with it sometimes. We were able to use a credit card going to the airport, but on our way back, he couldn't get a code to work in the device.

    BIG EASY LIMOUSINE OF ATLANTA
    When the snow was so bad Delta canceled my flight on 2/13/214 and rebooked me on a flight the next day. It was at 8:20AM in the morning. My family usually take me to the airport but I did not want them to come out that early with the weather so bad. So I called Big Easy Limousine Of Atlanta and they told me they could handle it and would pick me up a 5:00AM as I requested. Lewis was waiting when I went out the door 10 minutes early. The ice was really bad and he helped me into the van. He was a great conversationalist, friendly and above all helpful. Their price was so much lower then others I called.. The main roads were clear but getting out of the subdivision was a little problem but Lewis had no problem at all.
    I hope to use them again in the near future.

    Setting up the information & the day was pretty quick. This was via their main Uhaul office. Once I arrived to pick up the truck, the checkout was fairly quick and uneventful. The problems didn't start until I went out to pick up the truck. The owner (a man from India) gave me a lot of grief about being a woman and if I could drive a stick-shift (I use to work for UPS many years ago and I had to drive one of their large trucks and it was a stick shift!). I somehow got him to stop giving me grief over this. Once I found the truck, I quickly discovered the battery was dead. The man was completely rude about it, that I didn't know what I was talking about. It ended up taking me 2 hours just to get a new truck! I will NEVER rent from UHAUL ever again!!!

    They had the lowest rate. I had to pay up front before I checked into the hotel, and I did not like that. If you are looking for a cheap hotel then they are the best company.
