Jason Anderson said that the job would take a week to a week and a half. It went on, on and off, for two full months. The very first day the workers went to my neighbors house, took her furniture off of her deck and removed her gate.At that time my husband when over and asked if they were working on the wrong house.
Work on constructing the deck went well. Chimney repair went well also.
We were to have a screened porch built on the deck that was 18 by 12.. the deck is 23 by 16. When the work began on the porch the workers framed in 12 by 12. I called Jason and left a voice message. When he had not responded after an hour or so, I spoke to the foreman hoping that he would check before going any further. He said "I,m going to go on doing what I was told. You will have to talk to Jason". I texted Jason, he said they would get it right. The next day he came out but they continued working on the wrong size porch for about an hour before I realized it. So I printed another copy of my sketch and took it out . They made the corrections. All was really ok until this point There was damage done to the kitchen ceiling as the roof was put on. At this point they were gone for a week. They did not return calls or respond to text. They Said that they would repair it but that never happened. When the railing was put on, 2 of the balusters were connected only on the bottom. I pointed it out on 2 occasions but 1 of them is still unattached. the other was nailed in with a nail with a large heat causing it to twist slightly and bend. When my husband requested it that it be fixed, the foreman shrugged. They are still not repaired. One leans against the screen. They again were gone and would not communicate for a week. On the final visit they did some but not all of the caulking. We explained before signing the contract that the homeowners association only allowed us to use Sherwin Williams paint. They did this on the chimney but on the last day they bought Glidden paint that does not match and did a VERY bad job on the rest of the painting. Two of the screens are only partially attached so that there are gaps. The screen door does not fit and there is hardware only on the outside.A piece of siding broke when two workers became angry with one another. That needs to be repaired. There was cardboard left around the cement supports, they used our garden cart and put holes in it. We were told that they would replace it but not yet. We were told they are done. They are unresponsive to calls and texts again.

Willie Bundy is the most professional contractor with whom we've ever dealt. His quote was more than fair, he required no dollars up front, and billed monthly for all services completed. His paperwork was perfect and easy to understand. He would come each morning, over a 4 month period, and let us know the plan for the day/week and answer any questions we might have. His senior crew members have worked with him for 30 years. All subs were conscientious, professional and timely. When we did have a problem, the work was redone to our satisfaction at no additional cost. I just can't say enough about Willie and his associates.

The invoice above represents the second time Coffey had his employee work on my roof. The first time he charged me $100 and placed some flashing. This did not fix the leak, so the second time he provided the invoice above, and supposedly did the work, providing a verbal guarantee over the phone that he would stand by it, as well as the guarantee in the invoice, "This will take care of leaks in this area." Unfortunately, the first time it rained after this job, the leak was even worse than before. I called him, and he sent his employee again. Employee did various work, though noted there was a big crack in a board and that he was simply going to c*** it. The next time it rained, the leak continued. The employee came back (now the fourth time), and repaired some shingles. It rained again, and the leak is still bringing plenty of water into my house. Again, I immediately contacted Coffey. This time he told me to contact his employee (Juan) directly. I called Juan, and over the course of a week he kept saying he would come on various days, but never came. Finally he said he needed money from his boss (Coffey) in order to get supplies, but that his boss was not giving him the supplies. I have tried and tried to contact Coffey, and he is returning neither my calls nor my emails. Juan also rarely takes my calls, and rarely gives updates, though he does call occasionally. As it stands, I have paid $700 to these people and the leak is worse than it has ever been. The basic job was not completed.

This was the most professional contractor I have ever dealt with. He was on-time and professional. He left the work area in better shape (cleaner and repaired to exactly how it started) so that it looked like nothing had occurred. He met all deadlines and had the right people for the job.
