    Southeastern Orthopedic Center
I started seeing Dr. Lawhorne at Optim Orthopedics in Statesboro, Ga. about two years ago. Had no problem with Dr. Lawhorne at all. He referred me to Dr. Mark Sison, who was a pain management doctor at the practice at that time. Dr. Sison was wonderful to work with, however, sadly, he left the practice in November of 2015. Now, I am having a horrible time getting an appointment at all with ANYBODY! You can't get anybody to call you back, even if you leave messages. Three days now and I still do not have an appointment with the doctor I WANT to see. They put me with the doctor THEY wanted me to see. Like I have no choice. I am ready to find another orthopedic practice. I showed up for an appointment yesterday. They told me it was tomorrow instead. But nobody had time to check to just make sure WHEN my appointment was to be! The lobby was packed with patients. The office personnel seemed totally overwhelmed. Optim Ortho has become like a circus, and you cannot get anyone to communicate with you. I don't really think this is the fault of the doctors themselves. Somehow, there seems to be a lot of confusion in the "front office" since nobody has time to talk to you. I am so very disappointed. When I started out with them, it was not like this.

    CHILDCARE NETWORK #137
My daughter came home almost everyday and said that at least one teacher was being mean to her or another child. She came home crying because one of the teachers was bullying her about her clothes not matching. When I mentioned this to the front staff, they said they would talk to the teacher and see what her side of the story was. They weren't very understanding and kept making excuses for her. "She's just a young college student and hasn't learned how to talk to the kids yet." They spoke with me shortly after and said that other students were picking on her (even though my daughter denied that they were) and that the teacher was trying to "help" her. They stated that they would get someone to talk with the students about bullying and train the staff better. I thought the whole situation was handled strangely the way they kept insisting that it must have been a misunderstanding. Well, I later found out that the teacher was the director's daughter which made so much sense. We had the most problems with that teacher and she never got reprimanded for any of it. My daughter hated going there, but I didn't have much of a choice with no family in the area and my work hours. I finally changed jobs and pulled her out. I did like the office staff a lot though. Ms. Hannah is so friendly and helpful.

BUMBLE BEES CHILD CARE & LEARN
MY KIDS LIKE THE WORKERS BUT THEY COME HOME FILTHY AND THEIR CLOTHES ARE STAINED. THE WORKERS ARE NICE BUT BETTER CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN IN KEEPING THE PLACE CLEAN AND SICK KIDS AWAY FROM THE WELL KIDS. THE OWNERS ARE WONDERFUL.

    Dasher, Dr. Glen
The staff at Tri-Care Family Medicine are not prompt, considerate or effective in any way. The phone, especially the appointment line and nurses line, goes unanswered 10 out of 10 times EVERYDAY!!! Meaning, you have to leave a message to make an appointment and no they don't return your call! Nor do the nurses return calls. This place makes you beg, fight and plead for the very thing you need, compassionate, responsible care. I have called the nurses line more than 15 or 20 times in the last 2 months and left many, many messages, urgent as well as not so urgent. My phone call has been returned ONCE. Even when in the hospital the nurse would not return my calls. It is pure, shameful neglect. My vision of a doctor's office is not only a place where you can be treated but also has support staff to help you cope with illness or caretaking. A staff that gets you the prescriptions you need on time. A staff that follows up with patients discharged from the hospital. A staff that returns calls to any and all patients no matter what the reason. A staff that takes responsibility for their shortcomings. A staff that actually genuinely cares about its patients. A staff that doesn't blame others or point fingers when their job doesn't get done correctly. This is a place of NEGLECT. Not just once or twice, but they knowingly, repeatedly neglect their patients young and old. I hope you will consider going somewhere else. This place will make your suffering worse and your burdens heavier. If they don't outright kill you from neglect. On a side note, the and quot;paperworkand quot; for new patients is all done on an Ipad now. So, if you are elderly or simply inexperienced with such a device, you may find this very challenging. There are over 100 questions on the tablet. The majority of them are questions that your doctor doesn't need to know. If you thought paper forms were bad enough because you had to remember you grandmother's maiden name etc... then you certainly will not be pleased to answer anything on this electronic form. One example is and quot;do you have loose cords or exposed wire in your home.and quot; Another asks if you have rugs in your home etc...How ridiculous does it have to get? It takes more than 30 minutes to complete this e-form. Do not go to Tri-Care Family Medicine. I am not a doctor but I know when i'm being mistreated as a patient. My only hope is that the good doctor himself will see this or realize how his office has failed so many of it patients and their family members. Then, maybe, he will fire the people he needs to and run a proper, RESPECTABLE practice. Unfortunately, I don't believe that will ever happen in this case.

    Statesboro Imaging Center
While the reason for my yearly visit is perhaps not the most fun, I never mind going because this group is terrific. There is a mammogram suite in the back for the ladies, with nice large changing rooms. I've never had a long wait. The mammography techs are the BEST. Very kind and terrific at what they do. Scheduling and payment are always a breeze. When I'm finished I always receive a rose. This is how a health care provider should function! Thanks to everyone at Statesboro Imaging!

    Statesboro Family Practice
I always wish a doctors' office and waiting room were better arranged, so that the sick and the healthy could sit separately. This place has the one large area for everyone to sit together. Ugh. Beyond that, the office staff and doctors and nurses are great. Billing and paying is quick and easy. Great all-around practice.

    Southeastern Orthopedic Center
When walked into the office it was crowded and I thought "I am going to be here forever". Much to my surprise the office staff was very efficient. I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. The nurses were kind and the dr was knowledgeable.

    Becker, Dr. Todd R
Most excellent. Dr. Becker trimmed the nails himself while telling us Dad has a mild fungus and an OTC medicine should take care of it. Dr. B. REALLY trimmed those nails, then an Assistant came in with an industrial strength mechanical file and filed them down and smooth.

Dr. B. is now located at East Georgia Foot and Ankle Center, http://egfac.com/.

    The correct physical address is:

    1088-B Bermuda Run Road
    Statesboro, GA 30458

The hospital would charge you an arm and a leg for their service. Moreover, it is twice as expensive than the estimated price.  They would charge you $800 for staying in an observation room for one hour after a minor eye surgery.

    Clark, Dr. Aaron T.
I had a urinary tract infection. I called the office and got an apt in apt 2 hours time. Dr. Clark was on time and always thorough. He was listening to my lungs and noticed some bad moles on my back. Went to a dermatologist and discovered they were dysplastic nevi. Good catch Dr. Clark.
