    Deal's Heating & Air
Not good. They said some of the duct work needed to be replaced with new sections to correct the problem. They gave an estimate of $800. I thought this was high so I got another estimate from Eagle Heating and Air but it was exactly the same? I found out later the same family runs both outfits, go figger. They came and did the job but replaced nothing and made only a minimal difference and left some of the duct work disconnected and I connected it back myself. Just say No to this business.

    Ark Plumbing, Inc.
Tory was very professional and offered advice for the next bathroom I will renovate in the house. He also helped with advice on the kitchen (which we are in the process of remodeling). He was able to unhook and tie off the electrical for two areas. He was quick and responsive, gave great advice and has an outstanding personality, going the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. Ark is a great value for the professionalism and quality of service. I have found my new plumber!

I called the place on Monday and set appointment on Tuesday at 10 am. The service guy arrived my home actually at 2:40 pm. Beside this delay, the work done by the guy, Doyle Norman, was excellent.
First you could tell this is very nice and honest guy and you felt very comfortable to deal with him. After some conversations and cost estimate, we decided to repair the leaking right away (no second trip). Doyle is very experienced, he removed three tiles from the concrete floor with no breaking, which was out of my expectation. He spotted the leaking area very well and fix it professionally.
I think he kept the minimum damage to the floor and clean working space. Their charge is very reasonable.
Doyle worked there nearly non-stop for 4.5 hrs (shown on the bill). I have to remind him to take a break and have a drink a couple times. He responded that his break will cost my money:-)).
If all the service guys like him, homeowners will have much less stress when they need help. Thanks Doyle.

    Neal's Plumbing and Electric
I was very impressed with the professionalism of Neal's Electric and Plumbing. The workers were efficient, knowledgeable, pleasant and cleaned up after their work. I thought their price was very fair. I feel confident with the quality of their electrical service, and I would make them my first call when we need electrical service again.

They were great! We bought a house that needed some updating and some rooms were missing receptacles entirely. Brad was very helpful. He helped me make some sense of the wiring in our home and offered a lot of great advice. We were hoping to just squeeze in our outlets being updated/installed, but they were so great we had enough time to put in some new ceiling fans and pendant lights as well. Good guys, and will definitely be calling them in the future for some more electrical stuff as well as plumbing.

    Allen's Electrical & Plumbing
The technician came out the first day and determined the septic tank needed pumping, so a crew came out to pump the tank, which was buried about 15 to 18 inches deep--a hard job on a hot day. The technician thought pumping the tank might solve the drainage problem with the sink, but it did not, so he came back the next day. He started by putting some acid down the sink. He let that settle for a little while, and then he used an electrically powered auger to try to clear the blockage. The auger came to an abrupt stop, and he was splashed with the acid. He had to change shirts to prevent being burned. He came back in and tried it again. Same thing, except an abrupt stop that yanked the auger off the reel, which the technician had to fight with to get straight. Next, he went under the house and located a couple of clean outs. He opened the one near the sink and was splashed so badly with the acid from the drain that he had to go home and shower. He came back with a high-powered water jet. He was finally able to clear the problem--almost 40 years of grease accumulation that came out in sleeves--it was hard and unlike anything I've ever seen in my life. He then put everything back together and discovered the leak under the sink. It was a pipe that was original to the house, so it had served its life. He stayed to make sure that everything was sound and did not leak. This was not the first plumber we have had out to work on the drains, which have been slow since we moved in. Two other plumbers had been out to fix the problem, and they did improve it some, but not like Allen's. The drains run free and clear now. The technician (James) stayed with the problem until he found out what was going on. I am sure that this was one job that he probably counts as one of his worst days at work. Yes, the $840 bill hurt, but now the problem is fixed. I will definitely call Allen's again if I need other plumbing repairs (or anything that they can fix).

They were courteous and efficient. They explained exactly what they found and what had to be done. They checked can lights in my kitchen, found them to be fine, and replaced light bulbs for me.

They provided a reasonable quote and suggested items that could assist us in averting issues down the road. We were extremely pleased with not only the work but the professionalism of their associates. We have used their plumbing service since our initial July remodel as the water well had a minor issue that i discovered on a Saturday evening. I snapped a picture and sent to their website and they were able to ascertain that it could wait until Monday thereby averting any weekend charges.
We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for either electrical and or plumbing services in the Statesboro area.

    Allen's Electrical & Plumbing
I dropped by Allen's about a week before the time of installation. There I met Mr. Ryan Jones, who is the electrician who did the work. I talked to him for about 10-15 minutes, explaining what I needed and showing him the switch. Ryan is very competent and personable. I left the written switch directions and installation DVD with him. He was willing to watch the DVD on his own time in order to prepare himself to more efficiently install the switch. On the day we arranged for the work to be done, Ryan arrived on time with another gentleman. Ryan returned the DVD and immediately went to work. I have heard of this job routinely taking 3 hours but Ryan efficiently completed the job in a mere 1.5 hours (saving me considerably money!). The switch works perfectly and the cosmetic appearance of the installation is quite good. Allen's offers a variety of electrical and plumbing services. Based on the excellent and affordable job done by Ryan on the transfer switch installation, we will certainly use Allen's (and Ryan) again in the future.
On a side note, I strongly recommend using a transfer switch to anyone wanting to power their home with a portable generator. It is the safe and legal way to wire in a generator, preventing accidental shocks and fires.

Jerry L Brown Plumbing & Electrical
Mr. Brown arrived at the appointed time and got right to work on replacing the ceiling fan. His assembly of the replacement fan was excellent. The fan has worked very well since he installed it. After completing the fan assembly and installation, he got replacements for the broken fawcett covers for the bathroom sink and replaced them. All of the work went well. It was done quickly and all parts of both jobs have worked well since installation.
Mr. Brown has performed a variety of plumbing and electrical work for us since the 1970's. His work has always been efficient and excellent. We have not worked with other plumbers or electricians since Mr. Brown began working for us in the mid-1970's.
