    I have a 1946 rental home on cinder block basement.  Basement flooded on day my renter was to move in!  Chris with Crawl Space Solutions came right out (in the pouring rain) and worked up a quote for me.  Had the quote w/in 2 days.  He was able to start the work the next week.  His crew were VERY professional and courteous.  We've had two rains since and no more leaks!  Chris was very polite and patient with (the stressed out) me!  He knew the pressure I was under with the renter to get the basement waterproofing completed and get the renter into the home.  I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Chris also guarantees waterproofing for 7 (seven) years.  Call Chris....he's fantastic!  He'll get the job done!

    AEM came through big time for me after my house received storm damage to the roof. They showed up the day I called them to do temporary repairs and demo, and then did a great job not just fixing the roof, but doing all of the interior work with new carpet, drywall, plaster work, and paint as part of a home renovation project, and not just for the storm damage as I had originally called them for. I would use them for any project without hesitation, and greatly enjoyed working with them from start to finish.

    The Handy Man, Jim, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about every single thing he did.  He went above and beyond to make additional repairs when he found issues.  He was timely, professional and courteous.  I've never heard anyone say that their handy man was A+ like this, so I think this is a good example of getting what you pay for. The quality and peace of mind I have now is well worth the investment.  I also had a good experience communicating with the owner during the estimate phase.  I would recommend the company and Jim going forward.

    RCM came out on the same day that we called to assess the damage.  The carpets were soaking wet in a large portion of the upstairs and water was dripping quickly through the floor into the garage. The affected area was literally soaking wet.  The workers proceeded to pull off the baseboards and damaged the dry wall in a number of places.  They started extracting the water from the carpets and then placing dehumidifiers upstairs and in the garage.  We had these dehumidifiers in the house from Saturday to Friday because they said the humidity levels continued to be too high to take them out any sooner.
    Our biggest issue with RCM is the management.  Because we filed a claim with our insurance company for the damage, the itemized bill for services was sent to them.  RCM evidently charged twice what the insurance company normally sees for comparable work and the insurance company had delayed payment pending further information from RCM.  We started receiving regular calls from RCM saying that we needed to pay them the full $16K, to the point of harassment.  They also made time to send us a certified letter with the words "PAST DUE" written as a bright red water mark on the $16K bill; no details as to exactly what was done and why they felt the amount was justified.  At one point when my husband spoke to the to RCM on the phone, the manager asked "Are you finished, yet?".   They have since sent us to collections.  Although we have paid them the amount insurance deemed as reasonable and customary charges, the owner told my husband they will not call off the collections agency until he sees the rest of the money. 
    I guess the management has determined that most people will not have recurring instances of water/fire damage, so customer service is not a priority.  Well I hope this review prevents at least one person from hiring RCM.  They are unethical in their business practices, by taking advantage of people in bad situations and badgering them until they get whatever ridiculous amount of money they pull out of the air.

    They were able to come quickly, which was important since we had some minor flooding from a leak.  The quote on-site was higher than we expected, so I wish there had been more info about the possibility of having to rent drying equipment up front.  However, the area was wetter than we realized, so it was understandable why the cost went up.  They came back on a holiday weekend so we wouldn't have to spend the whole weekend in disarray.  Everyone was friendly and professional.  I was very happy with the work and the cleanliness of my carpets afterwards.

    Keith and the teams he used were fantastic. They were all very professional and on time. The work was top notch with great attention to detail. They kept areas neat and cleaned as they went.  Keith clearly takes great pride in the work he provides. He also worked hard to get things completed in a timely manner. Keith has been my hero through this stressful time and he certainly delivered a WOW experience for me. Well worth the money spent. I will be using him again on future projects.

    It was great. He came last week and tried to get it all done that day but we ended up rescheduling for Saturday. He doesn't normally work on Saturdays but he wanted to make sure he got it done. He spent the whole day Saturday doing several things around the house. He is a very straightforward, trustworthy, friendly, super nice guy. He didn't try to upsell me even though I definitely needed to do somethings for my house. I will probably hire him for some other jobs in the future because he did a great job. I purchased the Big Deal and he reached out to me almost immediately through email. I spent more than the initial Big Deal price. It was not for labor but for materials and he provided receipts  from Home Depot.
