Overall, Bear Mountain did a good job re-painting my home. And you will probably find that they are cheaper than some painters if you get a lot of quotes. I would say youll be satisfied with the paint job, but dont use them for any repairs, and be aware that they will do the minimum necessary to complete the job. You are getting what you pay for. A basic paint job. I do not like what they consider touch up and how they bill. It seems like touch up could be anything from a small missed spot, to an entire corner missed, to something in the contract not completed. In other words, I think they use touch up a little too loosely. Their invoices will state that payment is due upon substantial completion. So, as you could imagine, they will want payment and could consider many things touch up, when I would consider it, job incomplete. What happened with me is after a quick glance I thought they were 100% done, and didnt even see touch up items, and I paid them. But, later on I noticed areas where the paint was thinly sprayed on, a corner board not painted, nail holes not filled in, and an attic vent I stressed should be painted with extra care because its really old wood, which was not. And with that vent screen which should be replaced which was not. I even reminded the lead guy while he was here. I played phone tag with them to try and get them back for touch up. Ive been very busy at my job and would miss their call. I would call back and they would say that the person who called already left or was not available. Then I honestly was afraid even if they came back they wouldnt do this attic vent right, so I just took care of it. I was afraid because they arent craftsmen or carpenters first. They are painters - even though they advertise they do all the repair stuff too. I would recommend you hire a quality carpenter if you need any repairs done. They replaced some flashing for me, attempted to screw part of it down through cement (unique situation - long story). You can tell they had trouble with this part and just left screw holes in a few spots where they couldnt get the screws to grip into the cement. I also needed a fascia board replaced. They forgot at first, but did come back and did that on the last day. I know they forgot because why would you replace a board after painting the area? And, it was done in a rough manner in my opinion. It just seems like the carpentry side of their crew members may not be their strong suit. And because thats the vibe I got - I didnt want them to come back and attempt to re-do anything honestly. That parts on me I guess. In short, since they may not hurt your wallet as much as certain companies, Id say, use them for your exterior paint job, but maybe before they come out, have someone else you really trust do any wood rot repairs, or other carpentry work. It also depends on how picky you are. Perhaps the level of quality Im looking for just doesnt exist anymore. Or, doesnt exist in my price range.

    Hailey's Home Services
We recently had a bonus room turned into a bedroom with a bathroom and closet. Michael was quick to provide a full estimate. After we agreed to move forward we never saw him at the job site. He relies heavily on his various crews to do the work with zero over site. They text him pictures as the job progresses. Any issues we had were difficult to resolve due to the fact that he never came to put eyes on the work. His painters, tile installer and over all project lead man are great to work with and they do fabulous work. His plumbers are unprofessional and do a horrible job. The biggest issue we had was after the job was done and $24,000 had been paid Michael starts nickel and diming us for $500. His crew installed an over sized door for the bathroom which completely blocked the toilet. After I told him it did not work for the room he said it was fine and that he had done 100 barhrooms like that. I wasnt satisfied so I asked him to put two 18 doors in. He said they would be $140. After they were installed (2 weeks later) and all the crews were gone he texts me and says we owe $500 for the doors. He said it was for labor and hardware. I agreed to pay for the doors and the paint and hardware but I felt he should eat the labor due to the fact that his crew installed an incorrect door and because I am the customer and was not satisfied. He disagreed. I paid him but will NEVER recommend him

    HD Home Services
Hugo, as many have noted, was very prompt. Communication before he got his money was very prompt and constant. After paying the deposit the communication slowed. Hugo did a very mediocre job on what he actually did, and then he asked for more money to purchase items so he could finish the job. I agreed to an additional $1,000 in order to by a balcony to install over some double doors. Hugo took it, and I have not heard from him since. He also left my house in a complete mess. I have nails, wood, screws, paint cans, furniture etc all over my yard from where Hugo just tossed items and left them. The work he actually did has to be redone as he didnt sand before painting, and he left rotted wood where he agreed to replace. Hugo has not returned any form of communication in over a week even though he agreed he wasnt done. Buyer Beware!!!

    Tibor's Tile & Marble Inc
The tile installation was top notch work. Tibor and his associate arrived on time and started work immediately. My kitchen was left in the same shape it was before they arrived; all debris and runoffs were cleaned thoroughly. I would not hesitate to use them again. Excellent service!!

    Gray Tile & Remodeling
Derrick and his team did a great job on our master bathroom (full remodel) and guest bathroom (80% remodel). It was amazing how fast they worked, and they were done within half the time quoted by other contractors. I love that I knew exactly who was in my home everyday since they do most of the work themselves, and they did their best to keep my home as clean as possible during the renovation. Whenever we had issues (which were all minor) Derrick was quick to respond and resolve them. Derrick also has a lot of integrity, which is rare when it comes to contractors.

    Leos Home care improvements
These guys did a great job! They came within the window they said they would (which is pretty rare), completed 3 rooms (plus 1 ceiling) and were done by 4pm. Great quality, left the place clean and at a great price. Have already asked for an estimate on doing more of the house.

    Residential Home Services
Eddie did a fantastic job installing insulation, drywall and paint on our basement ceiling. Price was more than fair. He is extremely responsive, shows up when he says he will and gets right to work. There were no surprise expenses and he got the job done in the time frame he gave us originally. Very professional and will hire him again if the need arises in the future.
