    Mr. Handyman of Greater Savannah
Run, run as far away as you can form Mr. Handyman. They are a very poorly and unethically run company...issues with scheduling, issues with invoice, issues with the fact they had three handymen come to my house and they had to fire 2 of the 3 of them before they finished the job. To be fair the 3rd person did a good job. Would NOT hire again.

Alex & Bros Painting & Renovations
I found Alex & Bros here on Angie's List and contacted them based on the positive reviews. I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. The team was on time, took great care with all of my belongings and the floors, had impeccable attention to detail, and did a fantastic job. I have a friend who does interior design and she called it the best paint job she has ever seen. I would absolutely use them again - highly recommended!

    Coastal Contractors & Installers, LLC
COASTAL CONTRACTORS, Inc. [Note: This review is not about Coastal Kitchens, which does good work.] Executive Summary: Stay far, far away from this company. Details: We decided to renovate most of the house we bought at The Landings and Coastal Contractors, Inc. (CCI) had worked extensively with the company that designed the renovation, bid low and promised all the right things (of course). After the usual amount of checking, we hired CCI to do the construction and finishing work for a new kitchen, new master bath, fireplace renovations, general updating of the overall look, painting, electrical, plumbing and cabinet installation. Right from the start we had problems. Tonya Meushaw (owner) overpromises, under delivers and lies. We left for the summer and CCI was supposed to complete the demolition work while we were away. They had 8 weeks to do 3 weeks of demo work and did not complete the work. When I asked her why the demo was not finished she gave me an excuse that was a total lie. This was the pattern for everything that had to be done. To make matters worse, most of the subs were the worst. They had no skills, did not show up on time, did many things wrong, left the house a mess every night, could not care less about what was supposed to be done. Some of the subs had drinking problems and were dismissed, but should not have been hired to begin with. It was clear that Tonya hired the cheapest subs and some had never worked for her before, notwithstanding her claim that she used the best subs and only used ones she worked with before. So many things were done incorrectly that it would take hours to recount it all. And one of the subs stole a diamond and gold necklace, which we did not discover until it was too late to figure out which one may have done it. Tonya had no sense of urgency and an estimate of 4-5 months work turned into a 13 month project. Tonya also under staffed the job and did not supervise the subs. Many times a sub would show up and not know what he was supposed to do, where the lights went, where the plumbing lines were to go, did not have the right tools or equipment. No attempt was made to protect the floors or new kitchen cabinets until we told Tonya that no work would continue until the finished work was covered. We wound up having to supervise the job and that was not what we signed up for. We lost a year of our lives having to be home all the time to watch the subs. Although Tonya promised she would be around to check the work, she hardly showed up. Her job foreman only showed up when he had to do some work, did not supervise the subs unless we pointed out the problems and rarely looked for problems on his own. Total disaster. After checking around we found other people at The Landings that had similar experiences with CCI. There are many contractors working in Savannah, use someone else.

    Low Country Services LLC
Called and was asked to text contact information. I followed up, and we heard nothing for 3 days. I reached out again, and he said he would come that same date. Then, without calling to follow up, he cancelled on us and said he would "get to us early next week". There was no follow-up call or text, and no email response. For someone with an "A" rating, I expected a lot more from him. This was poor customer service, and some lost business for them. Would not recommend, and will not contract for work with this company in the future. Then: I was threatened for posting an honest and factual review. I called and he was at a job, and he asked me to text contact information. I did. I did not demand he show; I asked if he could come for a quote, and he said yes. See the images for information on professionalism. Angies List staff assisted me in combining the reviews to give the opportunity to clearly show why I rated so low and recommend you would not contract with this provider.

    Mud Masters Drywall
My wife and i unfortunately hired Cory to finish our walls and ceilings to get us ready for paint, and now we are out $900. Against better judgement, i trusted him and paid 1/4 up front ($900). Even though the reviews and his personal history tell the story, i wanted to give him the chance as it seemed he was ready to go to work and prove himself. I couldn't have been more wrong. He wanted to be conservative in when he told me they could start, hoping it would be sooner, which i could understand. He said 7-10 days. They didn't start for two weeks. Two more weeks went by and they never had more than two guys, one of which couldn't do much besides fill holes. They worked a total of 3 days, one of which they only had one guy there. They showed up at 10:30 roughly (blamed it on 204 traffic) and were never there later than 4. I continued to listen to his excuses until a month came, and i still had tape joints that weren't complete, no corner bead run, and ceilings that hadn't even been started. I had again earlier made the mistake of paying them another $900 after they had performed the back to back days with two people and seemed to be focused on our home and assured us they'd be done in time for trim. After giving him the chance for a clean break and giving me some of our money back, he continued with the excuses as to why he couldn't come up with the money that he even offered to return at one point ($600). I put some pressure on him to pay today (12/7/17) and he called me cussing and yelling, and basically telling me that i wasn't getting any money from him. Come to find out from folks i know that live in Richmond Hill and grew up here, Cory has had some issues in the past and that is evident in his attitude, lack of respect, inability to communicate maturely and take responsibility, and dismal business acumen. Please don't make the same mistake some of us have. At this point we will take this to small claims court and carve out time weekly to tell our story to as many websites, subs, home owners and home builders in the area. If you have any questions or feel tempted to give him a chance, please message me and id be glad to tell you the rest.

    CertaPro Painters of Savannah
This is the second time we have used Certa Pro. The first was to paint exterior trim and the second was for interior work. The same crew did both jobs. Both results were outstanding. We will use them again next year. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Certa Pro here on the island.

    Coastal Home Services
I can't tell you how pleased I am with every aspect of his work. And I am a tough one to please! His work was the highest quality, and he was dependable with reasonable prices that in my opinion were much lower than he could have charged. Because of space limitations in the tiny home, I had several issues to work around and he came up with a creative solution for every one of them, and always let me know the options I had to save money on materials and supplies. He was responsive, professional, and his work was perfect. He even cleaned up and swept the area every night, even though he was returning in the morning to work! My only regret is that I'm now moving with the tiny home and won't be around to have him do more work. Don't hesitate to hire Bill, this is guy everyone wishes they knew. He can literally do anything!

The job went very smoothly. They worked with us at every turn to make sure we got just what we wanted an stayed on our budget. They were always punctual and kept the workspace immaculate. The renovation is all we dreamed it could be. It has changed the function and flow of our house for the better. We couldn't be more pleased. We will definitely hire them again for future jobs.

We are postponing the work until December because of things on our end. Getting the estimates and follow-up planning was great. Sophie in the main office responded quickly and warmly to all our enquirers, including late night emails from us, impressive...Two very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly guys came to our house just at the appointed time and carefully examined the damage and talked me through the repairs.
