Terrific experience. I was in and out in half an hour and I arrived way early for my appointment. Doctor Yeckley was professional, direct, knowledgeable, and diagnosed in a matter of seconds something that had befuddled half a dozen other doctors for years. He's got a quirky personality but he's bright, no-nonsense, and doesn't waste your time, and his staff was friendly and quick. Liked his tech very much, too. I recommend them all unreservedly.

First of all, I can't really say I can review the Doctor, she is not there ever when I go in to the office, hence the poor score for her availability. The front office staff is not helpful what so ever. They did not even know what to charge me for my visit! Like it is some mysteria how to code procedures! Totally rude about it. Their punctuality is terrible. I sat in the waiting room during my lunchbreak appointment for over 45 waiting. They totally believe their time is more important than anyone elses. If you make appointments they should be adhered to. I won't be back to this office.

Dr. Gaughf removed a facial bezel cell that required three stitches. To date, I have a minimal scar, and I expect that to mostly disappear in another month or so. She and her staff communicates everything that's being done, and what needs to be done on follow up. I feel very comfortable gong to Dr. Gaughf because she listens well, and then checks up or takes action on your concerns.

Provider did no take off enough margin around the mole so I had to go back in and procedure performed again. Made it very scary to receive results that come back as a possible problem only to find out dr. Did not take enough area around the mole. Also left w a huge scar from procedure.

Procedure ent fine and was painless. Only negative I can say is the assistant left 2 stitches in when i went back in for follow up. I did not notice this until days after the follow up appt so I had to remove the rest of the stitches myself.

I give Dr. Gaughf a and quot;Band quot; because she was rushed when seeing me and because she didnt seem terribly personable. I gave a and quot;Cand quot; for Availability because when I scheduled my first appointment with her, the office staff didnt tell me that the PA (Physican Assistant) would be the one seeing me (not the doctor) because the doctor was on vacation at the time. I found that misleading since I was specifically going to Dr Gaugh as a and quot;Specialistand quot;.

    Here's more details:
The office atmosphere was nice. It's elegant with comfortable chairs and oil paintings on the wall. I was seen on time. When I met Dr.Gaughf my first impression was that she did not look quite like the photos made her look (which was younger). Younger looking photos throws you a bit when you meet the person. I was also curious that she wanted patients to vote for her for Savannah's Dancing with the Stars.

    On the plus side:
The appointment itself was good (and quot;Band quot;). She was professional with me, though seemed rushed and just a little distant like I mentioned. She answered all of my questions and offered my a nice discount on the facial cremes. Would I go back? Yes, but with reservations.

    Georgia Skin & Cancer Clinic
I have long term sun damage to my scalp, and have had it treated for years by several dermatologists. I have visited this clinic for two years, since moving to Savannah, and have been satisfied. The most recent treatment has been use of a cream activated by a blue light to bring out and eliminate pre-canerous cells. So far I am satisfied with the results - it was much simpler and less painful than earlier treatment options.

I was breaking out with what I thought was Rosacea. I made the appointment but I had to wait several weeks to get in. I saw the PA and I did like her. She diagnosed me with Perioral Dermatitis. She prescribed topical treatment for me since I did not want the oral antibiotics. She did warn me that the topical may not fully get it under control but allowed me to make the decision. She did say that if I decided I needed the antibiotic I could just call in instead of having to make another appointment right away. I also happened to go in on the day of beauty they were hosting and got some professional products at over 50% off. The esthetician was super nice and squeezed me in for a consult so that I could get the sale price. I was happy with the visit. I have very sensitive skin and have seen dermatologists for over 20 years. I moved to Savannah from Detroit so I needed a new doctor. I am picky about who I see and I have to feel a level of comfort with the staff and doctor. I am a nurse and can be a difficult patient but I know what I will and will not accept and I want to be treated with respect. I felt that the staff here was polite and friendly

The most recent appointment required doing a biopsy for a growth on my back which was found to be basal cell cancer.  That was subsequently removed.  Dr. Collins manner is friendly.  He explains things in very understandable terms.

We did not wait long at all, and the young lady taking the information was very nice! The doctor came in and spoke with my son, asking questions, taking in whatever he told him. He gave some helpful advice to my son, called in the prescription, and we were out of there in no time at all!
