  • I recommend Local CPAP because on perhaps their busiest day ever--when they were opening their second store--they provided me with very fast service for shipping a mask. The fast service is combined with competitive prices. My sleep doc’s office recommends them for out-of-network sales. I’m sure my doc’s office wouldn’t recommend them if patients were complaining. One thing to note is that the owner’s last name is Brant, and the office manager’s first name is Brent, which I found a little confusing at first, but really it’s no big deal. These guys are great!

  • I will not move out of the area until Dr. Sedgie Newsom retires. The probability that I will find as extraordinary a dentist somewhere else is about zero. Dr. Newsom is a master craftsman of the art and science that is dentistry. For example, when he installed a crown, it fit so perfectly that (after the Novocaine wore off) I did not feel it; the crown immediately just became part of my mouth. Speaking about not feeling it--Dr. Newsom takes great care to make sure I am not feeling any pain, at any point in the procedure. When Dr. Newsom installed my crown, he did not juggle multiple patients, as other dentists have done. He took the time to thoroughly answer all my many questions, which other dentists have been reluctant to do. During the entire procedure, he maintained a cheerful attitude which helped me stay more relaxed. His assistants Katie and Roxie work harmoniously and efficiently as part of his awesome team. The front office staff, Clarissa and Sherry, pleasantly and competently handle billing and appointments. Olivia, my dental hygienist, deserves a special mention. Her technique is so gentle, I hardly notice the time go by. Parking is easy, convenient and free. This also helps to reduce the total stress of seeing the dentist. In my over fifty years of experience with seven dentists (due to a combination of my moves and their retirements), Dr. Newsom is the best, and his practice is the best.

  • Great non-surgical joint and spine center. I had a frozen shoulder and severe neck issues. My mother had similar issues when she was my age and had to have surgery 3 times for her slipped disc. I was determined not to go that route and within 4 months I feel a ton better! The staff is kind and thoughtful. The services are efficient, almost always in and out within an hour. A blend of chiropractic care, trigger point injections (all herbal!) and physical therapy helped me greatly. I still have a way to go but I now see them only twice a month Andy they have given me the tools to do my exercises at home to continue progress.

  • I will start by saying I that I think that Dr. Tinanoff is a really good doctor, she it thorough and bright. The office staff on the other hand is horrendous! I am appalled with my encounter this week, it's unreal. Like other reviews state, trying to get someone on the phone is like your odds for winning the lottery - slim to none. I was scolded in front of other staff members for a simple misunderstanding of how long it takes to get a prescription refill. The last few times I had been able to call in the refill in the morning and they would have it ready for me by end of day. This time though it wasn't. I came into the office 10 minutes before closing, first off the entrance where you pick up your prescriptions was already locked. I knocked on the door and could hear someone at the back desk clicking away on the computer but never bothered to answer the door. I went around to the main entrance where there were 2 ladies behind the front desk. One lady just glared at me while I told them that I was here to pick up a prescription refill and the other door was already locked. The other lady was pleasant (she had short hair and glasses, didn't get a name though), she apologized saying that it shouldn't have been locked and asked for my ID for the prescription, then went to the back. I could hear other staff members in the back loudly talk about their irritation about looking for/filling my prescription. After about 20 minutes the lady came back, apologized for the wait but said that she couldn't find my prescription anywhere and that the Tinanoff had already left for the day. She asked me to come back tomorrow, I asked what time they opened to which she said 7:30am and that I should be able to get it then. I come back this morning at 7:50am and of course the door pick up prescriptions was locked, shocking. I precede back to the main entrance, where I find the same 2 ladies at the desk. The one lady who glared at me yesterday had the same lovely expression on her face and thankfully the lady with glasses was there to greet me. She again took my ID and was off. After a few minutes the lady returned with another lady in tow (older lady with white hair) who I'm assuming was probably the office manager. I explained to her that I had called in my prescription yesterday morning, had visited last night and was told to come back this morning. She starts by saying that it takes 48 hours to refill prescriptions. I told her that previous I had no issue with same day pickup and that based on previous encountered I assumed it would have been the same. She snidely told that if every person came in whenever they wanted to pick up prescriptions that they wouldn't get anything done, her irritation was very visible. It was just down hill from there. Honestly, this was a simple misunderstanding on operating procedures. This woman, and most of the other women in this office should not work in customer service. I could not believe that she scolded me and how frustrated she was. Instead of saying something like "I'm glad that we've been able to service your request same day previously, but it can take up to 48 hours. Since this was a holiday week we've had a high volume, which is why it's going to take 48 hours. If you come back this afternoon we should have it ready for you." Simple, easy, done. Instead I got attitude, scolded and was left feeling nothing close to valued. People in customer service, especially the medical field should treat their clients with empathy, compassion and respect, which is the polar opposite of what I received. No one asked these people to take jobs in customer service, they chose it. After the encounter today it's VERY clear that most of them should have chosen differently.

  • I wouldn't live without him. I have only seen him by appointment. He has always been available. His office environment is pretty good too. He is very comfortable to deal with. He has been maintaining my health for the past 10 years and he is very thorough. I trust him. No problem with billing and administration.

  • Yes, the office is very nice and Dr. Lowden seems thorough. He doesn't really seem to have a staff other than his wife part time and a part time dental assistant.
He's a very good salesman in that he makes you feel like he really cares and can do the best job for you. So I went ahead with the process of having a partial denture made. The entire venture cost me around $3400 out of pocket. My insurance only reimbursed me $92.
Having spent all this money, I have several major problems now:
    1. The partial he made was nice and small but it never fit right from the start. It rocked up and down quite a lot on one side. I went back three or four times to try to get him to correct it but he just couldn't perceive what I was talking about and told me "all dentures move and there's nothing you can do about it". Being tired of spending so much money on parking every time I went there, and tired of him not being sincere about giving me a good fit, I gave up and started using lots and lots of Poligrip strip material to keep the denture from moving. That worked to keep it in place but so much food gets up under this thing in several areas that I have just stopped wearing it. It is much too aggravating.
    2. Dr. Lowden insisted on putting a crown on a tooth I was NOT having trouble with because he said the partial wouldn't fit properly otherwise. Now I wish I would have stood my ground on this and insisted he make it fit because, fourteen months later, I have a severe infection under that crown and the tooth has to be removed. All of this is costing me so much more money. Funny, in a way, I'm glad to get that crown removed because it made me bite my cheek all the time, something that never happened when my own tooth was in tact.
    3. Also, in every place Dr. Lowden ground down a "seat" for the denture to rest on other teeth, I now have cavities because he ground the enamel away. I have now spent even more money getting another dentist to fix those cavities.
    4. Be aware that Dr. Lowden does not use extra precautions when removing mercury amalgams. The tooth he insisted on putting a crown on had an amalgam that he ground away without using recommended precautions. My body now tests positive for mercury toxicity and I am working with medical doctors to resolve the problems that has created in the past year, as well.
    5. I have called Dr. Lowden's office at least four times over this past year and left voicemails asking for a call back. No one actually ever answers the phone there. I have never received a call back. I have not called his cell phone number, as I felt leaving a message at the office should have been enough to warrant a response. And honestly, I just didn't want to waste any more money on parking, or waste more time explaining what was wrong to someone who wouldn't make an effort to make things right.
When I spent $3400, I expected everything to be done perfectly, which he assured me it would be. Now, it appears I will be spending twice that with other dentists who can do the job properly.

  • The was the second time he had done a tooth implant for me and it was very successful. He's done other work for me in the past like crowns and general cleaning. This man is a perfectionist and he's very thorough, careful and he does it right.

  • I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed today's session. I researched massage therapy options in my area and rolled the dice when I scheduled my appointment. Well the universe was on my side today because I struck therapy gold. I was in a lot of pain today and now that I've been home for an hour, the pain is nearly gone and I've noticed my posture is more upright and stronger. I have a road ahead before I'm completely recovered, but I feel safe and confident continuing my therapy at Atlanta Massage Retreat and look forward to going back!

  • He is really good in his chiropractic service.  He is extremely good.  He's got the oriental training which is superior to those who don't.  Oriental type of chiropractic training goes beyond a typical chiropractor.  I've been to two chiropractors and he is far superior to the first one I dealt with.

  • Everyone in the clinic is helpful and friendly.  I was put through a number of movements for the initial assessment, then a complete personalized therapy workout that changed as my condition improved.    I was scheduled twice a week and by the third week, I no longer required the anti-inflammatory meds I had been prescribed.    Everything was explained to me and I was given written instructions on exercises and stretches to do at home.   I am not only becoming stronger physically,  they educated me so that it is less likely I re-injure myself.
Champion Physical Therapy is a well-equipped clinic, with an extensive line of services and great Physical Therapists.   My only regret is that I didn't go sooner!
