    Haley, Dr. Suzanne
She is great. I have been very pleased with my dental implant. My husband is also absolutely happy with the work that was done to him. Dr. Haley is has been a miracle for us. My husband has not snored since. She went totally over and above on what she needed to do. Like, she would come in on days that she was closed because that was the only time we were available. She is very accommodating.

    Tarantola, Dr. Gregory J.
After filling out the and quot;Contact Usand quot; form about my son, the Dr. himself emailed us back. After sending him the X-ray we had already had made, he called me to talk about the possibilities. He was cautiously optimistic about being able to pursue a less invasive course than his current dentist recommended (a root canal and crown).
The very next day, someone called us to set up the appt and to give us an estimate of what we were looking at price-wise. We were very pleased that they were able to get him in in less than a week.
When we arrived to the office, they immediately got my son back into the exam and quot;roomand quot;. I say room, but really it was an open space. Very open and inviting - not at all like your traditional dentist's office. They have the monitor set up so that the patient can see any X-rays that are taken.
The Dr. explained everything to my son before he did it, and he showed him what was going to be put into his mouth. They gave him sunglasses to block the light as well as to keep water from splashing into his eyes. They also had soothing music playing.
They encouraged me to stay in the room so that I would know what was happening as well as to keep my son calm and relaxed.
We were told that the procedure would take about an hour and a half, but happily it only took 1 hour. After the procedure was finished, they took another X-ray so that they could show me exactly what work was done. He also took the time to teach me about some products that will help improve his oral hygiene. They also called me the next day to make sure that everything was good.
I can't believe that we almost did a root canal on a 13 year old when it was completely unnecessary. I am so relieved that we found Dr. Tarantola, and that he was able to save my son's oral health.
We are changing dentists and I look forward to keeping our entire families' mouths healthy. We are willing to drive 1.5 hrs (one way) to his practice, so that should demonstrate how very pleased we were with the service.

    Myers & Hartnett DDS
I have been a patient of Dr. Hartnett for almost ten years, and find him, and the entire staff at Myers and Hartnett, unfailingly pleasant, professional, and competent. I have never had anything approaching a negative experience with anyone at their office.

    St Simons Island Dental Associates
The dental appointment went just fine.  They told me about a couple of teeth they wanted to watch, but everything was good.  I just felt that the cleaning wasn't as good as I have experienced in the past at other providers.  But, this was my first visit and I will definitely go back.  the most important thing is that I felt as if I trusted the people.

    Haley, Dr. Suzanne
Satisfied with the cleaning. Hygenist Mary has the and quot;softest touchand quot; I have ever experienced. Virtually painless.
I initially went to Dr. Haley after discussing another local dentist's plan to install a crown over a cracked tooth, for $1200. Dr Haley examined the tooth, found it to be and quot;looseand quot;, it wiggled, and that it was not cracked. She recommended not putting a crown on a loose tooth, since I could eventually lose the tooth. She recommended replacing the metal filling with one of epoxy (?), explaining that metal fillings tend to spread the tooth, whereas the expoxy would bond to the top of the tooth and tend to hold it together. This was done for about $350. She applied something to the gum at the tooth's base which resulted in the gum growing against the tooth and it is no longer loose. This was four years ago, and it has been no trouble since.
She had her office staff check my isurance company for coverage remaining, and then timed subsequent cleanings for maximum insurance benefits.

    Gentle Dental Care
After numerous normal visits, I had a very bad experience with Dr. Kidney and the staff there. I think Dr. Kidney is very nice and is in fact gentle with her work, but perhaps she has too many patients at a time that she bounces between which I believe led to the error in my dental work. I had two crowns done at the same time and one was a temporary crown. Dr. Kidney left an assistant with me to use a drill to shave or and quot;cutand quot; down the temporary crown to fit my lower molar. The assistant didn't know what she was doing (was probably not qualified to do this level of work) and left it VERY high making it hit first when biting. Dr. Kidney didn't check her work, I was told I was done, and was so numb I couldn't feel the high tooth. I went home and had EXCRUCIATING pain all weekend due to the huge crown driving up into my nerve. I called Monday and asked to come in due to the pain and was told they didn't have an opening until Thursday. Unacceptable.
When I got in on Thursday Dr. Kidney was very surprised by how high the tooth was (by her own words). She proceeded to cut a tremendous amount of material off and actually shape it like a tooth and matched it up to my lower molar. She apologized for the mistake. She said and quot;it should have been done right the first timeand quot;. I appreciated her apology, and actually respect her for admitting the mistake and being honest with me.
I continued to have tremendous pain for about a month because the nerve was VERY inflamed and almost needed to have a root canal, but the pain eventually subsided.
Under the advise of another Dentist I returned to have the permanent crown put in due to insurance and other complexities, but afterwards I knew I would never return. I only went back to get my medical records.
Upon my arrival to get my records the girls at the front desk said I had a balance to pay before they would give the records to me. I informed them I would not pay the balance (which was for the botched crown), I argued a bit, then left without them due to the girls behind the counter not relenting. I contacted a lawyer and found out that it was illegal to withhold medical records due to an unpaid balance.
I called Dr. Kidney's office and informed them that withholding records was illegal. They put me on hold, came back a few minutes later, apologized, sent my records right away, and waived the entire remaining balance.
I wish the entire ordeal never happened but it did. I thought it would be a good idea to share this. I have never had a bad experience at another dentist or been treated that poorly before. Beware.

    Joe Garner DMD
I accompanied my daughter and granddaughter, as I was visiting them at the time.  The office staff was very friendly when we arrived.  We did wait a little bit after my daughter completed the paperwork for a new patient, but not overly long.  We were all escorted to the exam area and were made comfortable while we waited for Dr. Garner.  He came in a few minutes and greeted us with a hearty hello and handshake and did a good job of making my granddaughter feel comfortable with him.  He was engaging, fun
and explained everything he was doing to her and to us.  I would highly recommend him for children and adults.

    Sayer & Sayer
In all cases, they were punctional, friendly, explained what was going to happen, allowed me a break if I needed one, examined my mouth and glands for evidence of oral cancer ( I am a breast cancer survivor) and counseled me on how to improve my home maintenance in between appointments. Very thorough.
