    Bowen's Septic & Environmental Services
We used Bowen Septic for the first time in 2014 after buying our house and finding out the septic tank was in bad shape. Bowen came out immediately and provided a thorough assessment and quote before beginning work. Since then, we have used them for routine maintenance. The team who services the tank are always courteous and prompt, calling before they arrive so we can be ready. We've had no issues since their repairs and routine maintenance.

    Banks Septic
We made an appointment 2 1/2 weeks ago to have our septic tank emptied. Gave them all the details. 20 minutes AFTER they were supposed to be here, they called us to tell us that 400 feet was too far to pump. Completely unprofessional.

    Aaron Services
Can't say enough about the service we received. We initially contacted the Marietta office this Sunday and were contacted by the next day, which happened to be Memorial Day. An appointment was scheduled for the following day. The team onsite were extremely courteous and knowledgeable. They quickly identified the problem and walked us through our options. Once we agreed on how to move forward, they quickly got to work, staying past normal hours to complete the job. They kept us informed of their progress the whole time. Once they finished, they cleaned up, replaced the dirt and left us with good advice on how we can keep the septic tank working well. They have quickly become our go-to septic guys!

    Banks Septic
First I called another company whose office was closer and got good (but fewer) ratings. They quoted me a price that was more than double what Banks charged me. When I told them that seemed high and that I found them through Angies List the knocked $50 off. That was still more than double what Banks charged me. I was a bit naive and told this first company that I'd use their services. They told me that a technician would call me back in 15-20 minutes to schedule a time. Hours later there was no call back. The next day-no call back. This gave me time to think about the high price and the fact that they didn't call me back like they said they would. The next day I called Banks and everything went smooth as cake. They quoted be a low price, came when they said they would and did a thorough job. To top it off everyone at the office and when they came to the house was polite and professional. Don't waste your time or get ripped off. I highly recommend using Banks. Oh, the day after I scheduled with Banks the first company called me back and seemed upset that they lost my business and told me they would negotiate a lower price. I almost laughed.

    Banks Septic
needs.  They are the best.Matt and Mickey came out and found blockage in my drain field.  They put in a short term fix Which allowed me to use my water normally until they obtained permits for field replacement.  These 2 individuals were professional, hard working and accommodating.  They left the yard in good shape when they finished and were a pleasure to work with.  I can comfortably recommend Banks for any of your septic

    Banks Septic
This is my first Angie's List review, and I'm more than pleased to write it!  In fact, this is a difficult thing for me to do physically because my right arm is in a cast and I have to peck this review out mostly left handed.  I called Banks late Thursday and explained to them that we had four service providers out to our property over the last two years and no one was able to find our septic tank.   The last guy said he thought it was probably under our deck.  Before ripping our deck up I wanted to be 100% sure it was necessary.  I explained all of this over the phone to the Banks rep.  She scheduled someone to come out on Monday morning to find our tank, and then pump it if possible (if it wasn't under the deck).  They called me 30 minutes prior to arriving just as they said they would do.  Paul arrived, and he and his assistant were in the back yard less than five minutes and they found the tank!  I couldn't believe it.  Part of it was under the deck, but enough of it was accessible past the deck, so they began digging.  They worked quickly and hard to dig down three feet to expose the septic tank access lid.  They pumped and inspected the tank.  They did a thorough job of pumping the tank.  They totally exceeded my expectations - I  hoped that they would at least be able to find my septic tank, and then some time down the road pump it out.  They found the tank without any special tools/methods so they didn't even charge for locating it, they only charged for pumping it!  They refilled the hole with dirt and cleaned everything up in a professional manner.   These guys are the best!  I highly recommend them.

    Dixon's Septic and Plumbing
He was great at what he did. He knew what he was doing and has been doing it forever. He was there when he said he'd be there, put everything back together where it should be including the sod, and on the money. He went over and above.

    Amos Pump Service
They did a good job. I only paid for the big deal. There was nothing else I paid on top of it. Everything was great about them. I had no dislike. Everything was fine. They were very professional. They came on time. They came with what they estimate; no extra and no surprises. I will definitely use them again.

    Arnold's Septic Tank Service
Arnold's septic provides a high value service, though with some caveats. They arrived as scheduled (quickly) and provided a fix that was quite economical (compared to other offerings) and seems to be working fine some months later. Roots had taken out the entry area to my leach field and they inserted a bypass that feed the remainder of the field, which appeared totally dry and so was getting none of the tank effluent before their repair. This was done at a most reasonable cost, rather less then other services wanted. Also importantly to me, Arnold did not talk down to me and was very clear on my options once he'd diagnosed the situation. He also took ownership of a problem that developed months afterward (water main leak) and had it repaired by his plumber (Brian - 770 238 6586 - excellent) who came ASAP that same evening when we reported the leak to him (leak was verified by the town utility folk).
The caveats are fairly minor: this is a high margin business so one would think that there would be an extra degree of service care. However, in spite of our request to bring his backhoe up our (soon to be replaced) driveway, he came up our front
(and rather steep) front lawn which made a bit of a mess of it. The other is that more care with the back hoe might have prevented the damage to the water main running to the house and also might have avoided shattering the 4" outflow PVC pipe on the septic tank. I also would have been happier were a "T" ($5 at Home Depot) used rather than just inserting the shunting flex pipe into a cut in the field pipe. But, those quibbles said, all seems to be working so this may be satisfactory. Time will tell. Also of note to some potential customers is that he does not carry comp; not a big deal for what I had done though not risk free of course.

    Banks Septic
I've used Banks a couple of times over the last few years, and their service has always been fine and fairly priced. Several of my neighbors have also used them and have also been well satisfied. Importantly, they do not do that creeping "you also need..." or other charge inflating maneuvers.
My only two comments would be: septicservices here in N Georgia run 2x or so times more expensive than the state where I used to live and as one looks at the business economics, it would appear that it is a most likely a quite profitable enterprise - perhaps why there are so many providers for a limited customer base. Of course, not that many are willing to muck around in other people's poop to earn their keep. The other is, as other reviewers have noticed, Banks' office person must be a family member or the like for no person who could be readily fired would last in this position with her rather condescending attitude to customers. The people in this field are great, though.
Those things said, I would have used Banks again for my latest need but they seemed uninterested in providing an lower cost solution, but rather wanted to replace my entire field (expensive and very disruptive to our landscape) and were more than a bit vague on how they would do it: their proposal was 3 very short "sentences" on what they would actually do (with none of the details described during the site visit - which it turns out would have been impossible given where the service lines to the house are located), and a very long paragraph as to how they would extract money out of me were I to balk at paying. At any rate, I found a more modest and straightforward solution, one that would last likely 10 years (not necessarily 30 years of a new field) and has been working well for many months now. Sewer is most likely coming to this area in that lesser time frame.
