  • Medical care provided was excellent. Dr. Black quickly grasped the details and complexities of my medical history. She did a great job of keeping current and managing my overall care. She made hospital visits and coordinated care and information with ER and hospital physicians. Compassionate and caring.

  • Dr. David Dickinsheets: This egotistical jerk needs to get over himself & start CARING for his patients, especially ones like my Mom who needed follow-up care for a deadly infectious disease. That when we call to say my Mom can't afford $360 (after insurance) for your prescribed meds, can you prescribe something else, that someone needs to return our call. That when a patient is not getting better after 7 months of continuous UTI/VRE related infections, you don't NOT recommend follow-up visits. That you don't dare minimize the effects of MRSA and talk down to us, when my mother, brother (and nearly myself) almost DIED from hospital-acquired MRSA (my brother eventually did die from infectious disease complications). Waited 1 full week for a returned phone call following a 30-day hospitalization to get a follow-up appt, finally they told me they would rather Mom see another Infectious Disease dr. Time for him to retire or go into research. TONS of bad reviews on him on medical review sites. Read them and BEWARE!

  • I have been a patient of Dr. Callahan's for several years and would never consider going elsewhere. He is the most sincere, professional, caring physician that I have ever met. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer all of your questions. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for excellence in a physician.

  • I'm not happy with Kaiser Permanente but they keep me alive. I found out about a month ago that they contributed 100,000 dollars to the Woodruff  Arts Center, I think that seems to be a misappropriation of funds but that deserves to be investigated but nobody seems to care. The physicians are pretty competent in their skills and you get a lot of courtesy. They should use their money efficiently enough. I did do some pain management, I had Spinal Stenosis and I was in pain. They did an MRI on me and confirmed it that I needed pain management but I think it took about 3 months to get in and about 3 or 4 months for the treatment but they did solve the problem. They are pretty decent to their people. In fact I think they work their doctors too hard which I suppose enables you to have enough time. They give you something that explains everything when you leave and you can refer to that if you didn't catch it the first time.

  • It went excellent! Dr. James Jackson is the physician I worked with and I have been seeing him for over twenty years. I have always received best service. He really listens to the patient, and asks if there is anything else a patient wants to talk about. I never feel rushed and he always answers in terminology that is easy to understand. Very courteous and prompt!

  • I have been seeing him for 20 years.  He saved my life.  His staff and environment are excellent.  You don’t have a long time.  He is very thorough and he knows everything that is going on with you.  I went at one time with many complaints and he analysed those complaints.  He is just very complete and very up to date.

  • She's absolutely wonderful and amazing. She's listed with the best hospitals, is on the cutting edge, stays current, and listens to her patients. She understands cardiology and familial issues, and she explains things very well and is very human. She also schedules her appointments appropriately. She's busy so it may take you a couple of months to get in, but the ease of scheduling an appointment is easy. They even have a waitlist for earlier appointments. The office staff is great. They're professional and friendly, and will let you know if Dr. Lundberg is running a bit late. They also understand insurance and will work with you. The office is warm and friendly, and the location is in a place that doesn't have bad traffic. I was very lucky to find her.

  • My experience with Dr. Kasparek was single handedly the worst experience of my life. If you are looking for an OB that will respect your wishes and rights when it comes to the birth of your child, Dr. Kasparek is not the doctor for you. If you want to schedule your c-section out of convenience, then Dr. K is your gal!
I thought that I had chosen a like minded doctor that would give me personalized attention when it came to birthing my child. I was completely wrong. I was shuttled through her c-section factory line and left with nothing but questions and regrets. Even though the specialist had recommended that go home on bed rest and deliver at 37 weeks, Dr. Kasparek decided that it was more convenient to deliver at 35 weeks. One minute I was told I was going home and the next minute I was told that I had 10 minutes to make a decision between a surgical delivery (which was to happen immediately) or inducing labor which could take 3-4 days. When we asked why we were told over and over again that "we needed to move toward delivery". However, I was not in distress, the baby was not in distress, and my medical records show that there was no medical reason to deliver that day. My baby was only 4 lbs and had to spend 2 weeks in the NICU. Dr. Kasparek never came to see me before the c-section. She left as soon as the baby was delivered to do another c-section and had a surgical assistant sew me up. She came to visit me one time while I was breastfeeding in the NICU which did not give me any time to ask questions. No one briefed me on the expectations for recovery after my surgery. When I told her my concerns she told me that I was "hormonal and emotional" and that I would have "more perspective on the situation with time". At that time she also told me that is was up to my insurance company as to when I would be discharged, but then went directly to the nurses station and signed my discharge papers without anyone ever checking to see if I could stay another day. My discharge papers were signed before I had met the medical requirements to be discharged AND most importantly, she discharged me without prescribing a RhoGam shot. The RhoGam is medically necessary and should have been given on the same day that I gave birth since my blood type is O- and the baby was is A+.
Needless to say, I refused to return to her practice and saw 2 other OBGYN's for second opinion's and my 6 week follow up. Both doctors told me that my c-section incision was not good. One doctor even asked if I had had another surgery in the same area because the dimpling from the sutures was was so evident. Both doctors also stated after looking at the medical records that they would not have delivered that day and that there was "clearly a breakdown in communication". Moreover, we received $3500 bill for the "surgical assistant" that sewed me up because that service is not covered my insurance plan.
It has been almost 4 months since my baby was born and I am still nothing short of LIVID. If Dr. Kasparek had spent anytime with me or actually reading the specialist recommendations, maybe my baby would not have had to spend 2 weeks in the NICU. Maybe I would not have had to have a significantly invasive surgery. Maybe I would have happy memories of the birth of my child. I can't go back, but if I could I would have said, "NO. I do not give informed consent and refuse treatment until I can have a second opinion." My husband and I were scared and put our trust in Dr. Kasparek, which I will regret for the rest of my life.

  • She is thorough and takes the time with you. She does not just give you a pill and send you on your way. She is very friendly and easy to communicate with. The office is pleasant and I have not had to wait a long to get seen. Her assistant is very nice as well.

  • Falany and Hulse was recommended to me from a family member who knew one of the doctors. At the time I lived in the Woodstock area and the business was extremely close and convenient. I was pregnant at the time and really lucked out since they were so close by and so wonderful. They were really punctual, rarely did I have a time when they were running late and all the nurses that I can remember were super sweet. I have seen all of the doctors on staff, as well as the PA's and they are all top notch. They have a policy (which is normal for this type of baby delivery business) to see all of the doctors on staff. This is so if you go into labor, you'll at least be somewhat aware of who you are having deliver your baby. The only problem I had with availability is after I saw all the doctors, I wanted to make appointments with certain doctors that I seemed to really "mesh" with, it was difficult to get times with particular chosen doctors. But, overall it wasn't a big deal. All of the doctors are nice and listen and are very knowledgeable. They all have different personalities, but are all great doctors. The only billing issue I had with the company was that there was an issue with my insurance and wasn't contacted about it. I'm pretty sure this wasn't my responsibility, but I had a huge bill come in the mail which wasn't really explained too well from billing. But, again, this wasn't a huge problem. After tracking down someone to talk to (wait time was kind of long), I had my answers. The office environments are nice and as comfortable as they can be for a 9 month pregnant lady. I have no complaints and I have been to the Hickory Flat office and the Bells Ferry office. One of the offices though, I think it may have been the Hickory Flat office had the religious music radio station on all the time though. I don't have a problem with people and their personal beliefs on religion, but having the music loud enough for the patients to hear (the radio was in fact in the waiting area for the patients to hear I think), was a bit uncomfortable. Every time I went, "God music" was playing, and I found it a slight bit uncomfortable. Overall though, I love this provider and I would definitely use the provider again if I didn't move away. It is now too far for me to travel to see them. I am sad to search for a new provider since I had such great experiences with them.
