My one-pull-start lawnmower would start but not keep running. Kent came out to the house on a Saturday morning. Flushed the carburetor, changed the filter, cleaned the gas lines and checked the oil (which was fine), sharpened the blades and got her running great again. Would definitely hire again!

it is not worth fixing.  I asked if he had a used mower to sell me and he did.  Glenn had a used Troy Built mower with the same features as my old Toro that he had just cleaned up and completed all recommended maintenance.  He took my old mower in trade and delivered a working mower to my house.  It started right up.  Cost of two on site visits + "new" mower (including delivery) was just a little more then the local mower repair shop would have charged (labor + parts) if I took my old mower to them.  And I had my mower issue resolved 2-3  weeks earlier!
    Well done Glenn.  Thank you.

I received a call back the day I called Mower Medic and he set an appointmemt for the following day. He came on time, did a quick assessment, and left with the mower. That was Thursday. Today is Monday and the mower is back! I have used services before that required me to load the mower in my car to get it to and from the shop. This service was great! Prompt, convenient, and competitively priced.

He was really good. It was a really good price and a really smart guy. He works out of his house. The guy is brilliant, he does it for a living and that's all he does. He does a lot of commercials too. It was really competitive and I couldn't find anybody that could tune up my lawn mower for 35$. He also did a blower tune for 25$. I think he only takes cash but I could be wrong. He was on time.

The mower was picked up on 5/23. After shop review I was told the carburetor needed to be replaced and the work was authorized. The part needed to be ordered.
On June 6th I received a call advising me that the work was done and the mower ready. I gave them my credit card information and expected delivery that day. I finally had to call on June 10th to ask where my mower was and they had not even processed my payment. That was taken care of on June 10th and the mower was to be delivered on the 11th.
The mower was delivered on the 11th. I thought it was funny that it arrived on a trailer with the motor running. As soon as I turned the mower off, it would not start. The delivery man was still here and I asked him why it would not start. He responded that I have a weak battery. I asked why this problem was not addressed while they had it in the shop and he said because I did not ask them to address it. Of course, I did not know that I had a weak battery and they did no bother to call and tell me I had a weak battery. To add insult to injury, the delivery man thought it was funny!

After nine years of non-use it was no surprise my lawnmower would not start. After adding gas to it, the gas immediately leaked out on to the driveway. I assumed a cracked fuel line, but was told by Richard it was the carburetor, which he cleaned and repaired. He charged $20 to pick up and return the lawnmower and $40 to fix it for a total of $60. Pick up and delivery were on time and my lawnmower now runs like new! Richard also gave me good advice for avoiding similar problems in the future and also told me which small-engine brands are the most reliable. I will absolutely use him again in the future and highly recommend him.

Completely satisfied with the work done. The service was performed in a timely fashion, for a reasonable cost, with great quality. Richard was very easy to deal with and flexible about my pick-up time. When I used the saw the next day it started up easily and cut without any problems.

John was recommended to me by Ace Hardware. He did a good job on my mower and also came to my house for the repair on the same day I called. I think his price was competitive and he also gives the homeowner some advice on how to keep their mower in good condition. He grew up on a rural farm and has been working with tractors, mowers, etc for many years and I think this has given him a lot of experience.

    THE MOWER DOCTOR
Left them with my battery-driven Black & Decker lawnmower, which wouldn't start. They said it could take 3 weeks to fix, but probably not that long. They claimed they replaced the batteries (claimed at that time it needed two batteries), but then couldn't start it, so claimed they discovered a cable was bad. Claimed they ordered a cable. Called them repeatedly after 2 months had passed and couldn't get anyone to call me back. When I went in after 3 months to get my lawnmower, they had a lot of trouble finding my name/order number. I told them I would just pay for the batteries and take it somewhere else. They charged me for one battery because it only takes one. I now have to find another person to fix it. Not sure if they even replaced the battery. While I was waiting in their office, another gentlemen came in wanting his mower back because they had had it for 4 months.

They serviced our mower and got the job done. We thought they did a good job, until we got the mower home. After we got the mower home and used it, the wheels fell off. So we took the mower back and asked them to put them back on. They said no problem and offered to put them back on at no extra charge. They were accommodating and friendly about it. The wheels were put back on and we brought it home. We started using it again and the motor started making noises and it seized up. So we took it back a third time and they looked at it. They told us we put the wrong sparks plugs in it, when they were the ones who replaced the spark plugs in the first place. The gentleman wanted to charge us $85 to try fixing whatever issues our lawn mower was having. We said we did not want something fixed that they initially screwed up on their part. So we talked to the manager and he said they would fix it for $50. We told him to give us a week. After that week, I called them and they told us they were able to get it repaired under warranty and that it was not going to cost us anything for the repairs that were done on the mower. So we went back to get the mower and brought it to him. We started using it and it started spitting oil all over the place. So, I had a family member look at it and he said there was nothing wrong with it now, but they overfilled the oil. I felt that this company was not very honest and they wanted to charge us a lot for something that wasn't our fault. The technician seemed to be incompetent and dishonest about what they did and didn't do.
