After being initially unsatisfied, Chuck contacted me and came to my house to look at the problem and determined that the Pan and Shroud was not installed correctly. He was able to quickly fix the problem and now the chimney no longer leaks. Thank you Chuck for taking care of this problem.

    Pro Roofing & Siding
I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank the team at Pro Roofing and Siding for a professional job done on my chimney cap and gutters. Everything was done promptly and they had competitive prices with great service. Juan Reyes and his team helped us through the whole process with quoting and installation. They were great.

    Animals B Gone
I had used Animals B Gone for work at a previous house. We had squirrels in the attic space. They did exclusion work and I was very satisfied. Part of the appeal for me was their commitment to humane trapping. Therefore, when I had what I assumed was a significant problem in the attic of my current house - they were an obvious choice again.
Sean responded promptly and did an initial inspection. He found evidence of squirrels inside the attic - but once up on the roof, found that siding on the chimney had been pulled away leaving a significant hole. This appeared to be the work of a raccoon. With flash flood warnings, we were expecting serious rainfall. Sean immediately performed temporary repairs to make sure water didn't get in - but in a way that allowed any animal inside the attic to still be able to get out. These temporary repairs were free.
We discussed and agreed upon exclusion work. This involved putting mesh around the roof line to stop animals getting in. Similar work was done around the chimney. As is always the case - Sean took extensive photos of what he saw and gave clear rationale for his approach.
I also brought up some other issues around the gutters. In some areas - they were getting clogged. Sean volunteered some observations regarding water damage. I was already considering gutter covers. Sean suggested several different options to address the gutters - not all of the options involved using their services.
In the end - I had the exclusion work done - and the chimney repaired. Flashing was added around the gutters and roof to control water flow. Gutters were covered on the upper roof and extended in a couple of places to alleviate very obvious issues where upper level gutters drained onto the lower roof rather than directly into lower gutters. I am very happy with what my dollars achieved.
I have an older house and there is much work to be done. I will have no hesitation in using Animal B Gone again.  Apparently - they are extending their service offering and I have deferred some repairs which I will call upon them to do at a later date. There is an honesty I feel when dealing with them that I find very refreshing. It makes me happy to give my hard-earned dollars to local business. As Sean said - they warranty their work. The only way their business makes money is if they do the work to a standard that negates the need for further warranty repairs.
Clear communication. Quality service at a reasonable price. Peace of mind. I am totally satisfied and felt compelled to write this review.

The representative was on time and worked without disturbing the area or getting soot and ashes anywhere. He was polite and made recommendation as to what might be next for the chimney cover and left me a detailed receipt.

    Atlanta Chimney Worx
The owner came to the house, measured my chimney, showed me pictures from his large smartphone of my options. We agreed on a price. A week later, my beautiful new custom built chimney shroud was installed. Price was less than my project manager for my renovations could offer and the promptness is amazing. Owner is fantastic!!!

    The Problem:
Before we bought our house there was a major remodel. What used to be a living room fireplace was converted to an exterior fireplace on our deck. What was a living room is now a kitchen. The former home owners had sub-standard done and the fireplace conversion was not to code. After a night of unfortunate marshmallow roasting, we woke up to smoke alarms at 2:30 am. Our house was on fire. Roswell Fire Dept was at our house until around 5. The fire was isloated to the kitchen area and the wall between the exterior fireplace the kitchen.
    The Solution:
I called 5 fireplace companies. I had quotes ranging from $12K to completely tear down the fireplace and rebuild it from the ground up to around 5K. Steve was the last one that we had out to look at the damage. We chatted for little and he did his thing and briefly explained what needed to be done and a rough estimate. The next day he emailed a detailed report with and explanation of all proposed work and the cost. It took about 2-3 weeks to get him out mainly because the of Thanksgiving and out schedules. Once he was here the majority of the work was complete in 2 days. Then he came back for a couple hours to finish things off. All of the work looks great. I have used the fireplace 4 times now with no issues!
I would definitely recommend Steve and Casey.

    Advanced Chimney Sweeps
Our home has been sold and the buyers inspector called out a couple of issues with our chimney/flue.  We agreed to have a certified chimney sweep evaluate the matter.  The Advanced Chimney Sweeps inspector was extremely knowledgeable and indicated that both chimneys were in good shape and didn't need any further action at this time.  in addition, his bid for a chimney cap was extremely reasonable.  Highly recommend this provider.

Casey's Chimney & Wood Stove Service
Mr. Casey did an excellent job. He was punctual, professional, honest, thorough, and extremely capable as well as being a kind and friendly man! I called him to inspect the chimney and clean the flues in preparation for a new boiler being installed. He told me the flue for the heating system did not need cleaning so he cleaned the fireplace flue only. He noticed some cracks in the firebox that he said could be repaired on the spot. After fixing those cracks and thoroughly cleaning the firebox he noticed a few more cracks which he repaired free of charge. He also recommended a double chimney cap to keep animals and water out of the chimney. His helper was able to install that in about 30-45 min. After the flue was cleaned he vacuumed, swept, and used glass cleaner on the glass fireplace doors.    (He had also put down coverings on the floor to protect them.) I am very satisfied with his work and feel that $450 was a reasonable price to pay for all of these services.  I would highly recommend Casey's Chimney and will definitely be using him again!
