    The Appliance Doctor
We have used this company several times, having found them on Angie's List, and have previously had no complaints. Clearly, however, they no longer need or want our business. A little over 3 weeks ago, we contacted them for a dishwasher repair. The first appointment they could give us was 3-4 days out. They came; the technician was very nice; said we needed a new motor for the pump, and it had to be picked up from the warehouse. The next appointment was another 3-4 days out. The same technician installs the pump. We attempt to run the dishwasher -- and get another error code. The guy comes back that same day and says the new pump is defective. Schedules another appointment several days in the future. He shows up that Saturday for an appointment and again replaces the part. Tells us to be sure and let the dishwasher "dry out" before we try to run it. We do not attempt to use it until Sunday night -- the dishwasher won't work and now we have a bunch of water we have to pump out of the bottom. We call Monday morning and they initially give us a Wednesday appointment, but are able to get there the same day because of a cancellation. Same guy comes, and tells us the second pump is defective. (At this point, I am becoming skeptical -- but they've already been paid.) We are scheduled for another technician on Thursday, in a window between noon and 4:00. They call my husband's cell and office numbers at 12;27 (while he was in a meeting) and leave a message, saying that the technician is on his way and if they don't hear back from my husband in 10 minutes they are cancelling. By the time my husband calls back, we are cancelled. Additionally, the dispatcher relays what can only be a deliberate falsehood: that they came to the house and no one was there. At the house there were two contractors working on doors and windows, and my college-age son. Not only did they report that no one came to the door, they also noted that the dogs never barked --which indicates that no one even pulled into the driveway. They have now given us a "first available" appointment (HA!) , which -- you guessed it -- is 4 days out. Having paid for the service, we are now stuck with a company that does not appear to be particularly competent, honest, or customer-service oriented. If they manage to turn this disaster around, I will certainly amend my review.

    Atlanta Appliances Repair Inc
The ice machine was repaired. However, the technician was very late. I understand Atlanta traffic. I would have appreciated a 'heads up' call. The technician left a mess of melted ice on the kitchen floor.

    It is Fixed Appliance Repair
Called in the morning; same day service within the time frame promised. Mario fixed it on the service call. Good price. I will definitely hire them again and will ask for Mario. He also answered a question about my LG dishwasher while there.

    Collins Corporate Services
Jonathan Davis of Collins Corporate Services at 2524 Park Vista Drive in Atlanta/Brookhaven came out to do an estimate on repairing my Wolf oven. It was taking 20 minutes to preheat to the set temperature which I thought was a lot (we had just moved into the house and I wasn't familiar with this 'fancy' oven). He showed up and said 'it's the temp probe' without really doing any diagnostics and I took that at face value as the item that typically causes this issue but was a bit skeptical. He wrote up an estimate for $300 for parts and $250 for labor (without looking up any prices for this part for this make/model of oven). He asked for a check for the parts so that he could order and pay for them. He wanted the check written to him personally and I refused but wrote a check to his company. He called the next day and said I also needed an igniter and that he would have to rebuild the whole unit so he needed even more parts because everything works together. I told him to wait and not order the parts as I was suspicious (when he was at the house, he kept selling me really hard about what a great deal he was giving me, yet he didn't even look up the part price before quoting it to me). I called Wolf and they said no, I didn't need a new unit with the probe unless the unit itself was broke, and I didn't need an igniter because I had an electric not a gas stove and by the way, she said that 20 minutes pre-heat time is standard for a Wolf oven so there was likely nothing wrong with the oven in the first place and a Wolf tech should have known that. I texted the guy at Collins that I did not want to do the work and not to order the parts and he said ok. But I discovered he'd already cashed the $300 check. I texted him again and asked him to cut me a check back for $300 and he readily agreed (his exact words in text:'yes maam'. 3 weeks and no check so I sent him several follow up reminders a week apart and excuses, then nothing. So he has my money for parts he never ordered. I am disgusted. He's since taken down his website listing so I suspect he will relist under another name. Watch out for Jonathan Davis from Brookhaven. This address is likely his home address as he's probably a sole proprietor so any new company name with this address should not be trusted.

    Sears Appliance Repair
3rd time not a charm! Had purchased a master protection plan on our washer of 4 years. First attempt, snow day so they called to reschedule. Second attempt, the technician needed two people to do the job. Third attempt, the technician came back but decided to perform work without the second one since he had not arrived in a timely fashion. He said he had run it and it was doing fine. We tested the washer the next day. Water came out of machine and went on to hardwoods in hall, pantry, kitchen and then down into basement. And now waiting 6 days for them to come back. Thought we would qualify for an immediate response but we went into the schedule like someone who had just called for repair!

    Mr. V Appliance Repair, LLC
Mr. V. was very responsive, professional and showed up on time. Fixed it in short order and has been working great. Failed to get back concerning replacement of the rubber striping which is torn. This may not be something they can help with.. Otherwise, very satisfied with the service!

    Absolute Appliance Repair Inc
This company is awesome! I posted a review under them that was for a different company and I can't figure out how to remove it or edit it. The post I made the mistake about was for an outdoor ice maker. I gave them a 'C' when they deserve an 'A+++' They fixed my refrigerator and came on an emergency call. The technician went above and beyond on the repair of my fridge!

    Absolute Appliance Repair Inc
The service technician showed up and was fine. He looked at the ice maker and gave his assessment. In my estimation, the price charged was high. We called and had a second company come give their assessment. The end result was the same, replace the ice maker, however the service call charges were /$100+ dollars apart.

    Atlanta GA LG Repair
Our refrigerator broke while we were on vacation. It was under warranty so we called the LG people. They couldn't send anybody before vacation and we knew something was wrong. And they couldn't get the part in before we left, so we came home to a broken refrigerator. The guy came out on his appointment on the day we came home, Monday when we set it up, and he said oh, your freon leaked. So they had to call another LG person who had the freon compressor. He came out, saw the problem, ordered the parts, they came in the next day, and he came the next day and put them in - soldered it in.

    Around the House Appliance
I was able to talk to technician when I called. Appointment time was very soon after I called and he arrived on time. Was able to repair my dryer and then looked at a refrigerator I was complaining about and he came back a few days later with the parts and repaired. Was very delighted he went above and beyond to help
