Air Duct Cleaning reviews in Roswell

Original call was for dryer vent, but then when told that neither dryer vents or home ducts had been cleaned in over 30 years asked to inspect ducts and showed us build-ups of dust. Found multiple vents that were eroded. Did entire job quickly and professionally.

It went well, but the price was so much more then quoted or explained on your site. When they arrived they explained that Angie's list only included 1 outtake duct but we had 11 so it was costing so much more per duct! I was shocked but new our system needed to be done so let them do the work, so my 149 was just a dent in the cost which was over 700. They were professional and did put a better air filter in our system at least we think it is better than the original. However, looking at our bill a few days later discovered that we may have been charged for 1 duck to many? I haven't contacted them yet, have a very sick mother and have been doing some traveling back and forth. It may be to late for me to correct it but I plan to at least call them and discuss. They were hired to clean out my dryer vent which they did quickly and in a very professional manner. While they were at my home we discussed the need to have my ducts cleaned as well. I was given a proposal and it was suggested that I think about it and call them if I wanted to schedule the work. I arranged for them to come out a week later and again they were quite efficient and did a great job. They told me that I should have the vent cleaned about every 7 years and trust me, they are the only people I would call in the future.

Very well - they called to set up an appointment soon after I purchased the Angie's deal. Showed up on time, fully explained what they were doing and why, cleaned up before leaving. Very professional.

It was good. He was right on time. He was good. I didn't realize he was not going to do two particular things but they had considered those then. It was just exhaust fan. He was fine. I thought it was a little high for the number of ducts in my house but he does by the number of vents.

The three man crew arrived to assess the smell from one of the rooms in the home. I was told that the $99.00 cleaning would not alleviate the problem and that I needed the service that would cost several times more. When I told him I would not pay that amount, the attitude of the leader became very sour. He then said, "Then you owe me $60 for the evaluation." With that, I told them to do the $99.00 cleaning service I originally scheduled. As they began to clean the vents leading to the furnace where the smell was a problem I noticed that the first register they replaced after cleaning had a lot of dirt still clinging to it which I pointed out to the leader. I then saw another vent where the register directional spines were closed and would not open. When I mentioned it to the leader he asked me. "How did that happen?" as if to imply I had bent them. My point was that it clearly was not in that condition when it was removed because that vent has never been touched since we moved into the house. The leader appeared upset with me but, after a bit of work with pliers, was able to fix it. They quickly finished the rest of and left. When I began to inspect the other registers I immediately saw the registers used to expel air in the original room where the odor occurred were never removed or cleaned. I immediately called the office and spoke with Danielle to get the crew back before they left the area. They returned but the leader was clearly upset again. I pointed out the debris in the vents in the bedroom and adjacent bathroom that had never been vacuumed and the register in the dinette area that still was laying on the floor because it had not been put back into the vent. He fussed a bit at one of the crew for forgetting to replace the register and vacuumed to the two vents they forgot to clean and left. I walked them to the door and returned to the room in question. Apparently, they turned off their small portable vacuum cleaner too soon because all of the debris was still sitting in the vent. At this point I was not going to call them again. I had seen their cleaning process and got my vacuum cleaner out and vacuumed all the vents, most of which were clean but two still had debris. I called back to office of Atlanta Air Experts and again spoke with Danielle. She interrupted my conversation three times because of incoming calls as I tried to describe my experience with their cleaning crew. I offered to give her my telephone number for someone to call me but she insisted that she is the service representative to finish the call. When I finally began to explain what had happen in my home she said, "Well, the crew called me to make a complaint on you." I When I asked as to what the complaint was about I was told she could not share it with me. I certainly did not mean to hurt their feelings when I pointed out where they were not performing the work to my expectations. However, my expectations from their advertisements that my service would not result in: 1. a dirty register; 2. a newly non-functional register; 3. a register that was never returned to the vent; and, 4. two registers that were never removed for the vent to be cleaned. In summary, I called Danielle to let Atlanta Air Experts know what happened at my home and she was dismissive. When I asked for someone to call me regarding the experience she said someone would but would not tell me who or when. NOT to my surprise I have never received a call and now do not need no want one. My only reason was to share my experience with the manager, I did not want a refund. Now, I think it is also important that members of Angie's are aware to check all work allegedly being performed and do an inspection of all areas before paying. If I had, I would not have had to call them back.

Honesty and Professionalism. Contracted Mad Hatter to complete duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. Zak and Harvey arrived as scheduled. Very professional, they introduced themselves and put on protective foot covers before entering the residence. After an initial inspection of my ducts, Zak asked was prompted me to have the vents cleaned. I had just purchased the home and assumed the ducts would need cleaning. Zak provided photos he took during the initial inspection showing a clean system- its good to see a contractor thats HONEST. The dryer vent was another matter, dirty and was thoroughly cleaned. In lieu of cleaning, I had the ducts sanitized. Thank you Mad Hatter for true PROFESSIONALISM.

Great customer service. Quick response time. Offered a variety of options. Did not try to up sell. Low pressure sales. Ultimately, we decided to replace unit. Technicians were very respectful of property and made sure I understood the process from start to finish.

This was a big deal purchase. Actually it wasn't that great. When they were removing my vents for cleaning they kind of damaged some of the paint and did a pretty dirty and rough job removing the vents. They actually reinstalled them upside down. I would not use them again. I bought the service and the actually never did get back to me so I waited about a month. Finally I had to call them and had to hound them to make an appointment. All around it seems like they are picking up business they are not serious about. They came out and did my supply lines then told me my suction lines were a different service and it would be a different fee to clean those. I just told them to finish up and be done. They did a horrible job. Some of my vents are kind of older vents and whoever had them in there before they kind of painted the vents to the wall so instead of getting a knife and making a clear cut so they could get the machine down to clean the vents they did not get a good cut so they actually ripped the sheetrock in a couple of areas. It was not good service. They had dirty hands and they had handprints over white walls and stuff. They showed up when they said they would after we made contact.
