Extraordinary, Outstanding, Superior, Fantastic! What a relief to finally find a contractor is dependable, honorable, and focused. I was blown away. I've come to expect little from contractors over the years, but Jeff has officially raised the bar for every contractor out there. I cannot imagine ever, ever, ever using anybody else. Here's what thrilled me: 1) Jeff's quote was professional, organized, itemized, accurate, and even included pricing for 3 different options for our deck to help us make a cost-based decision. 2) Jeff quickly became our trusted adviser and consultant. He did not make decisions for us, but helped us navigate choices when we asked for his opinion. His knowledge and experience really are impressive. When we asked, "Do you think we could...?" His answer always began with "It's whatever you want... here are some things to consider, though." 3) His crew is the best! Jeff has 2 fully dedicated crew members. They were focused on MY job, not multiple, concurrently running jobs. Matt and Chris predictably arrived every day. They were friendly, happy, hardworking, and clearly enjoyed working together. They treated our family with respect and kindness. My youngest son idolized them and truly misses them now that the work is done. 4) The quality of work of exceptional. Jeff's standard for quality work is higher than anybody else I've worked with and I LOVE that! 5) Jeff and his crew were considerate of our ongoing home life. We continued to occupy the home during the renovation. In fact, I work from home. Because of that, Jeff always warned me in advance when things might get noisy, so I had the option to make other arrangements. I wholeheartedly recommend Elite Remodeling Solutions to anybody who is planning a home renovation. They are truly exceptional.

The few missing parts did not let the team deter them. They went to the hardware store and got what they needed to finish the job. During the construction some of the cedar posts were scratched. Michael went and stain matched at Sherwin Williams, and re-coated anywhere needed. He even left the can of stain behind for later use. Although he did not ask, I trust Michael enough to pay him in advance of the job, because I know he will finish it in a timely manner. I've use ADDISEN before at another home, and we will always rely on Michael to get many of our tasks complete to help keep our home looking top notch.

The quality of the work is excellent. It is a very nice porch and open deck. The price quoted seemed fair because of the amount of work to be performed and the length of time, 3 weeks, that it was supposed to take. However, the work only took 3 days and the price was not adjusted for the difference in manhours that were actually used. We asked about it and were told that since they sent a 4-man crew instead of 3-man crew, the priced quoted remained correct.

He kept to the schedule and the estimate.  He tore off the old deck and hauled it away.  He provided me with a cad program picture of what I had described to him that I wanted.  He did extra work required to correct previous mistakes in construction.  The finished deck is just beautiful.  It is multi level made from the Trex materials.

He was always there when scheduled.  The job stayed on schedule and he did a great job.  He was very careful to keep floor & furniture covered while working.  He cleaned up when he finished.

He also built a deck for us in Oct 2015 using Trex materials.  He did such a good job we called him back for the closet remodel.

I had an unusual blind valley configuration on my existing roof that had been leaking a small amount over my exterior porch. This leak had been going on for a year or two with no damage since my porch had a tile floor. During this period I had three different roof repairs made that only lasted a short time. I called Langley Roofing for help. Mr. Langley sent his roofing specialist, Chris, out promptly for an evaluation. While Chris was here he explained thoroughly what the problem was and the steps required to make a permanent repair. He was professional in all respects. A few days later I received an itemized estimate for my needed repairs. I felt the quote was a fair price so I quickly ordered the repairs. Since the winter of 2013-2014 was unusually wet and cold my repairs could not be made for a while. Throughout this process Mr. Langley continually communicated keeping me apprised of the repair schedule and status. At one point he emailed me a copy of insurance and a bond he had taken out specifically for my job. His and Chris's professionalism made me very comfortable that I had made the right choice for someone to do my repair. My completed repair looks great and after several heavy rains I'm happy to report that the leak is gone. I would recommend Langley Roofing to others without any reluctance. If I should need roofing service these folks will be my first call. Glenn V

I had a lot of work to be done on several rental properties. This contractor and his crew are superior in every way. They do quality work. They were always punctual for each job. I was always informed about anything that needed to be done extra and he kept me abreast while the work was being done.  They also cleaned up after each job.  I  can't say enough about this Company.  I will definitely hire them again when needed and would highly recommend them to anyone. I give them an A+.

CONSUMERS RESPONSE TO FAITH-FULL FENCE 7/15/13
MR JARNAGIN DOES NOT STAND BEHIND HIS STATEMENT LISTED ON ANGIE'S LIST OR HIS WEB SITE
    Business Description
we have been in buiness for 20 years, we are not finished until your happy,we offer high quality work and you come first ,free estimates ,workmanship is guarnte for life but most of all GOD comes first

In regards to his 20% off, we were not aware of this; in fact, it was Mr. Jarnagin who told us that he has had other customers use their military discount, and also that HD had a 6 month same as cash credit card available to homeowners. Mr. Jarnagin said nothing about him having or subsequently losing his discount. Mr. Jarnagin told us that by us purchasing our own materials, he could start the job sooner because he didn't have the cash flow to pay for the materials up front until he got paid from some of his other jobs. If that 20% meant so much, why did Mr. Jarnagin not volunteer to purchase the materials for us, give us 10% military and he still could have gotten the other 10% off from HD.
June 25 2013 I went to Home depot in Ft. Oglethorpe GA, spoke to Nathan, Pro Desk Manager. There is no across the board 20% discount to contractors or anyone. When you have a project, they will submit it to the bid room and get a price for that project. Nathan said the same project submitted today for a bid, resubmitted tomorrow will come back with a different price. If you look at customer order report pages 1-11, you will see the military discount cost came out less than the Bid Number, OUR COST $2341.20 HIS WOULD HAVE BEEN $2875.86. And if you do the calculations you will see there is no set percentage off, it varies from product to product. By using the military discount Mr. Jarnagin was able to put $534.66 EXTRA in his pocket.

I would like to know what we reordered?
After Mr. Jarnagin placed the order with Home Depot on March19 2013 he let us know it was ready for us to go by and pay for itThe only thing added was the 2 columns, Mr. Jarnagin did not order the columns because we were wanting to pick those out. There were no other changes made to that order, if there had been any changes made, we would have removed the spray paint gun. Mr. Jarnagin picked up all the materials from the first order, so if anything was missing, either Home Depot did not give it to him, or it was not ordered, or it was lost.
April 12 2013 Mr. Jarnagin placed an order for the stair railing because he did not order enough materials in the first order. He then told Terry he would need to call to pay for it.
April 15, 2013 Mr. Jarnagin placed another order for the stairs because they were not ordered in the April 12, 2013 order. Brackets, post jacket, post tops and trim to complete the corner steps. Mr. Jarnagin called to let us know he had ordered it. Kimberly called and spoke to Michelle and paid for that order. The only change that was made was to remove the gate, which I told Mr. Jarnagin by phone and text. We picked up the railing from this order.
Mr. Jarnagin did tell us he gets the material as he goes so he can hand select the lumber.
M.r Jarnagin told us while having Home Depot bring down pallets of deck boards for him to hand select the boards, that Jason finally told him to take the pallet and bring back what was not used. When I was at Home Depot I asked Jason if the deck boards had been brought back, he said no, that no lumber leaves the store unless it is paid for. That's when we learned that a pallet was 96 boards and that Mr. Jarnagin fabricated the story. He lead us to believe that HD allowed him to take the lumber and was to return what was not used. We calculated 64 boards were used, approx 32 boards were left.
If we had taken delivery on the pallet of deck boards we would have had a better idea of what was being used and would have had more control of our materials.
The set price of $11,500.00 we didn't have a problem with, it was the way Mr. Jarnagin went about ordering the paint spray gun and extra lumber without telling us up front about it. Mr. Jarnagin never once told us he was ordering extra material for labor.

The deck itself is basically good workmanship although the posts were not set the correct way on the corner steps for the railing to come off the post the correct way over the steps. The other set of steps were not built wide enough for the railing to come down over the steps instead of beside the steps.
Mr. Jarnagin told us his grandfather had passed away and that he was leaving the next day for FL. He was to be a pallbearer. So we waited a week then sent a text for him to call and he did. We were trying to show some consideration by not bothering him till he got back.
We were very surprised and never dreamed Mr. Jarnagin would be so unprofessional or refuse to fix the angled cuts. Their web page states and quot;promise a satisfactory job before you payand quot;. He also told us this in our interview with him.
As a whole, the deck looked okay. It was after they left that we realized the miter/angled cuts were way off. After researching and reading the instructions on how to install the vinyl railing, we realized just how bad it was and is. The warranty is now void.

Instruction for Pro Rail and Stair Kit
    www.barretteoutdoorliving.com
Step 1a and 1b The post jackets are to go over a 4x4 post if not then you are supposed to install a steel post install kit to place the jacket over. I have 6 w/o a 4x4 post.
Step 2 Railing is supposed to be centered between post, I have 5 sections that were not centered.
Step 5 The railing was set to high to use the support brackets. We did not notice at first, but several bottom rails started sagging. When we started to put the support brackets in place is when we realized the rail was placed to high and some of the brackets are bent. There are 2 sections set high because of the columns, I am not including those.
Step 12 Top and bottom rail should be cut to appropriate angle and length to fit tightly between posts. Top and bottom rail brackets to be moved to same angle as rails. None of the angled cuts fit tightly. You can see that in the pictures. Stair rail should go over the top of the steps. Not sitting beside and below the steps.
Step 7 and 8 are directions on how to install the stair brackets, they were used on one stair rail and not the other. If installed correctly there should be no exposed screws. On the side that has the stair brackets they still put screws through the top of the railing. You can see those in the pictures.
My warranty is void due to improper installation and poor workmanship.
Each set of railing had instructionsI think it is obvious by the pictures and instructions that Mr. Jarnagin was not knowledgeable in how to install vinyl railing. I wish he would have been honest and upfront about it.All these problems are why the new contractor suggested taking all the railing down and starting over

It was a week later. Mr. Jarnagin was in FL at his grandfathers funeral, again we did not want to disturb him during this difficult time. We did not ask for the entire job to be redone, only to correct the 3 sections with angled cuts and the set of stair railing.
If Mr. Jarnagin had agreed to correct the above, there would not have been a complaint filed

Mr. Jarnagin told us if we didn't like it to do it ourselves. We told him his services were no longer needed after he refused to re-do some of the unacceptable work or correct the issues we cited. At this time Mr. Jarnagin was asked about the extra lumber and spray gun that was placed on our order without our knowledge. Mr Jarnagin again said that's part of the labor. He was called a liar and a thief but there was no cursing. Mr. Jarnagin refused to correct the miter/angled cuts. Why would we want him to finish the job when it would just cost us more to pay for additional materials and someone else to install it correctly.

I was very pleased with the quality of work that was done at my home. I did not give a excellent score on price because the cost of the higher quality material in the end was not what I was expecting. The owner did work with me to reach a fair price. I am glad I hired this company and would hire them again.

Doug  is well prepared to handle every kind of home maintenance  and repair. He completed many projects in my home and I was very pleased with his work. I found him to be honest and conscientous. He is a busy guy lately, but like all good things, "Happy Home Repairs" was worth the wait.
