  • Trust. It's a simple word... something businesses want, but don't always get. You don't have anything to worry about with Blackwell. Blackwell of Chattanooga is the ONLY place in town I'll bring my Lexus. The team is highly professional; services are fair and reasonable; I can expect an honest evaluation of issues the car may be having. It's nice being able to walk in and feel like a friend and valued customer--like I'm not just another person just walking through their door. I appreciate the friendly demeanor of the staff and their willingness to make each client feel welcome. The waiting room is well stocked with a professionally maintained art gallery (with pieces for sale), plenty of books/magazines/newspapers, and a couple of computers/printers for our use. If you want coffee, well, they have that, too. The value, knowledge, and expertise of the Blackwell staff is second to none. I recently had an out of town emergency with the car; a phone call to Blackwell revealed that, given the issue with the car (the alternator was going out), I would be unable to drive the additional 2.5 hours to get it home to them. The recommendation was to get it to a Lexus dealer ASAP before all of the car's systems shut down. This story had a happy ending, and it wasn't too long before I was on the road again. When you get to know the staff at Blackwell the way I do, you'll understand why I love them so much. They live up to and exceed expectations, and stand behind their work. Trust: such an important, integral part of business. Let this business become a part of your family. You'll wonder how you've lived so long without them!!

  • I had a really awesome experience with Mr. Dee Cody Jr. at this business. I was looking to purchase a used car to be a first car for my 16yo son. We found an awesome used Camry at Cody Motors. Dee came right over to the lot on a Sunday to let us drive the car. We loved it and ended up purchasing it. The entire buying experience was handled so professionally, and Dee is such a very nice and honest man to do business with.  I commented that he had some really nice use vehicles on his lot. He told me that he does all of the buying there, and his one steadfast rule is that he won't buy any car for sale on his lot unless it is something that he would love to drive himself. If you are looking for a great used vehicle at a fair price, go and see the people at Cody Motors!. You won't be sorry. :)

  • On February 20, 2013 I accompanied my granddaughter, a 26 yr old RN, to Economy Honda. She was interested in buying a new 2013 Honda Civic. The Salesman was very courteous and helpful. After a new car was selected the Salesman consulted with other Staff behind the glass windows in the showroom. He then informed my granddaughter she could buy the car and Honda would finance it at 1.9% interest rate and she would not need a co-signer, We were somewhat concerned since she had very little credit history.
    Due to the new State of Georgia car title law she gave Economy Honda a $2000.00 deposit to hold the car until March 1st, 2013 on which date the purchase would take place. On March 1st, we arrived at Economy Honda at approximately 6 pm where we were met by the salesman. To make long story short we waited around for over 2 hours before being called back to the office of a Financial Manager who advised my granddaughter and I that because of her lack of Credit History Honda would not finance the car at 1.9% interest unless she had a co-signer. The only other alternative was to finance with some other Company at a much higher rate of interest. I agreed to co-sign with her due to the fact she desperately needed a car to use on her job as a Registered Nurse who travels daily throughout North Georgia.
    She agreed to buy the car despite the fact a $599 and quot;Processing Feeand quot; and $99 and quot;PHANTOM FOOTPRINTand quot; fee was added to the price of the car. I might add that my family and I had purchased three new Honda Accords from Economy Honda over the past 20 years and were always treated fairly. I could not believe the way we were treated this time. We were also pressured to buy additional things such as auto detailing, seat fabric treatment, extended warranty and some other add on. Despite informing the Salesman and Financial Manager we did not want it they would not let up until we threatened to cancel the sale and ask for the $2000 deposit be returned. As for myself, I will never buy another car from Economy Honda. This also goes for members of my family. My advice to the public is beware, beware.

  • She stopped and looked at it one evening when they were closed and asked me to do some research on it for her.  I called the following day during business hours and spoke to the owner of the business who informed me about the car's specifics.  I asked him if he had a Carfax Report on it and he answered "yes."  I asked him to look and see if it had any accidents on the report and he answered "there are no accidents on the report."
    My mom went today and test drove the car and loved it.  In fact, she had the cash to pay for the car taken out of the bank and was waiting for me to come help with negotiation.  She asked for the Carfax report and was never given the report.  She called me and asked me to run the report for her just to be sure.  Turns out, this car has TWO accidents on record.
    I called First Class Auto Sales and spoke to the owner again today to get an explanation of why he misled me over the phone.  He told me that he "never ran a Carfax" and was "ASSUMING it didn't have any accidents."  The worst part is, his sister is the owner of the car so I'm sure he knew that it had been in at least 1 if not both of the reported accidents.  I was very calm and cordial over the phone, but was told "WELL, DON'T BUY IT THEN...IT'S NO SKIN OFF MY NOSE."
    This company and it's owner apparently have a lack of integrity and therefore I will NEVER do business with them nor will I recommend them to anyone else.

  • He gave us a really good deal. He was very, very personable. We had family who bought from him also. He worked with us in a great way. He gave us a deal we couldn't refuse. He provided a good quality product, as well.

  • I was in the market for a used truck, and I came across Prestige Cars in the Chapman Road area off of Shallowford Rd. and 153.  From the moment I set foot in the lot, I was treated like a family member.  Greg Toney was the Sales Rep who  gave me all the information that I asked for which included the Carfax sheet on the truck that I ultimately purchased.  Nathan was the finance manager who assisted us with the paperwork.  I have purchased many vehicles in the past 40 years and talked to a lot of salesmen, but I must say that this was one of the best car shopping experiences that I can remember.  They were very fair in every aspect of the deal, and I can't say enough about the friendly atmosphere and the way they treated my wife and me.  They are just down to earth, good honest people and I would without hesitation recommend them to anyone.  Additionally, they do not charge doc fees on their vehicles like most dealers in the area.  If you are in the market for a vehicle, give them a shout.
