Read Nichol's team did outstanding work for me. I had a water pipe leak at a rental property that caused extensive damage both upstairs and down. Read was able and willing to work with the insurance settlement provided to me by USAA and completed the work on time and within budget. He was very flexible and diligent in following through on the job while accommodating other repair personnel having to work concurrently. I'm definitely keeping him on my contact list for future work and would recommend him to all of my neighbors.

Ricky Greer, the contractor, said he could do it all in two weeks.    When the time came for him to start, he literally showed up with an army.  They all got along great, and worked together under the expert direction of Will, to get the job done on time.

When they finished, it was beyond just amazing, it was a work of art.  We went from a dark galley kitchen to an open concept that makes the whole front of the house feel twice a large.  All the cabinetry fits perfectly together, all the electrics work, and the design flows cleanly from the kitchen into the rest of the house.  I can only describe the intricately tiled backsplash above the new granite counter tops as stunning.

The bathroom went from a yucky wallpapered cave, to a brightly lit, beautifully tiled masterpiece with new lighting, heating, and ventilation, and glass doors. I can go on and on, but hopefully you get the picture.  One more thing though.  Every day, before they left, they cleaned everything up!  There was NEVER a mess left for us to deal with.  They even mopped the floors when needed!

Finally - and this is the icing on the cake - about a week after they had finished - after they had been paid and the checks cleared - Ricky brought out some of his guys to attend to some painting details that had been done, but not done to his satisfaction.  He stayed in regular contact with us throughout the whole process, making sure that we were completely satisfied with everything.  We were, and still are.

The bottom line is this.  You can't get any better than these guys.  I'm adding them to my Christmas list, and will recommend them to everybody I know.

    Padgett's Tile & Wood
Jason and Stephanie Padgett were great to work with! They arrived as scheduled to look at my bathroom in order to give me an estimate for the work I wanted done. They promptly gave me a bid that I considered fair and reasonable. Work on the job began as scheduled and was done promptly with only minor blips which were taken care of quickly. Stephanie was always either immediately available or returned my phone calls the same day. The subcontractors they used were professional, knowledgeable, and did excellent work. Jason Busch was in charge of the tile work and he was awesome! His attention to detail and ability to solve problems was reassuring. I would highly recommend Padgett Tile & Wood to anyone!

    Henry Plumbing Co Inc
My experience was very well. The gentlemen knew what they were doing and did it well. They didn't spend any more time or resources than they needed. Once they were complete with the toilet they moved to working on my kitchen sink. They maximized all of the time covered by the $100 coupon. No cash or money exchange and everything paid online. Awesome!

    Horton Remodeling
Everything went well. Mr Horton came over to the house and evaluated the bathroom area, and provided an estimate. We scheduled an appointment to start the bathtub remodeling. Mr Horton and two of his employees arrived on the scheduled start date and completed the work on time. Mr Horton's employees we're very professional, courteous, punctual, and exhibited pride in their field of work. All work areas were cleaned daily and all trash taken away in their vehicle.

    Padgett's Tile & Wood
Jason (owner) was fantastic. He has been to the house several times for quotes. This job he came out to measure and order our carpet. There were a couple of hiccups with a couple of installers, but no fault of Jason's. He ended up taking the job upon himself to come personally fix some mistakes. This business is dedicated to quality work and ensuring the customer gets the quality they are looking for. Jason was absolutely not satisfied unless he knew we were completely happy with the work done. Without question we will be going back to him for further work in our home. Next is some wood flooring, some tile and possibly an add on the the back of the home, but we haven't decided on that yet. Any further service will be reviewed here. Can't thank Padgett Tile and Wood enough for their dedication to our home upgrades.

    Mr Rooter Plumbing of Savannah
I live in the Ft. McAllister community of Richmond Hill, GA, and on Sunday evening, November 23, 2014, all of my toilets stopped flushing and water began backing up in my bathtubs.  In addition, water was spewing from under the base of the toilet in the master bath.  After quickly checking Angie's List reviews for plumbers, I called Mr. Rooter where I left a message with the answering service for someone to call me as soon as possible.  They told me that some would call me back within 10 minutes.  After an hour, no one had called, so I called Mr. Rooter's answering service again.  It was about 10 PM by this time.  In less than 5 minutes Mark called me back and apologized for not calling me back sooner.  He explained that he had missed the text from his answering service and again apologized for calling me sooner.  After explaining to Mark the situation, we agreed that the situation was under control to the point it could wait until the next day for attention.  By that time I had got the water to stop flooding the bathroom and things were much more manageable at that point.  Mark promised to have someone out the next day and stated they would call before heading to Richmond Hill.

The next day I received a call from Mr. Rooter, explaining that a technician would be out by 3:00 PM, maybe sooner. At 1:00 PM I received a call from Taylor Flake, Plumbing Technician, stating that they were on the way.  The plumbers arrived at 1:45 PM.  When I received the knock at my door I was greeted by Terry, who introduced himself and stated that he was there to address my plumbing issues.  Terry was accompanied by Taylor Flake and it became readily apparent that Terry was a trainee and Taylor was training him to become a plumbing technician.  Taylor was very professional and seemed competent in all areas.  On the other hand, Terry, was very unsure of himself and obviously confused about everything going on.  It took them a few minutes to find the drain clean-out outside and, with Taylor's patient instruction, they were able to clean the clog from the main line from my house to the septic tank.

Terry and Taylor then proceeded inside the house where they addressed the blown wax seal under the master bath toilet.  Taylor, doing his job as a trainer, allowed Terry to take the lead and, while I am ignorant of most things plumbing, it soon became obvious that Terry had no clue what he was doing, and seemed very clumsy in his attempt to address the situation.  I was a bit disturbed by the fact that when Terry pulled up the toilet to replace the seal, he put the toilet right back down in the same spot without making any attempt to clean the accumulated yellowed crud up from under the toilet.  Ultimately, though, Taylor had to completely redo everything Terry had done since Terry had improperly installed the bolts at the base of the toilet, which meant pulling the toilet back up.  This, however, gave me an opportunity to grab a rag and clean the crud up from the toilet footprint before they set it back down.
Another noteworthy observation is the fact that when both plumbing techs walked into my house, Taylor wore paper booties to prevent tracking dirt and crap inside my house.  Terry, on the other hand, wore nothing over his shoes and tracked black clods of dirt through the house and on the carpet.  I had to vacuum (twice) after they left.

Prior to leaving Taylor Flake provided a courtesy walk-through and examined all the plumbing inside my house, including the water heater in the attic.  I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge.

In summary, I was very satisfied with the plumbing performed by Taylor and Terry of Mr. Rooter Plumbing.  Honestly, I'm not sure if Terry has the aptitude for being a plumber.  He struggled with every task, from cleaning out the drain, to replacing the wax seal in the toilet, to writing the bill.  Fortunately, Taylor took over these tasks and did a good job.  Both plumbing techs were intensely polite and courteous throughout their appointment.  The final bill was $298, which is certainly reasonable, considering Mr. Rooter, as a company, was very prompt about responding to my plumbing needs and effectively addressed my issues.

I must add, though, that after Taylor and Terry left, the toilet they had worked on began dripping from the water connection.  I did not call them back since it is something I will attempt to resolve myself.  Right now, I have a cup behind the toilet catching the steady drip drip drip from the main water connection.

Will I call Mr. Rooter again for my plumbing needs? ? YES!  Would I recommend them to friends needing plumbing work? ?. again, the answer is YES!

Rickey was awesome to work with. He was prompt with the estimate and made me feel very comfortable with him. He was upfront with me about the wait time between receiving the estimate and when work would begin and I appreciated that. Once work started, the crew was courteous and professional. They worked so fast too! I have other work that needs to be done in the house and I will be calling Rickey back to complete the rest for us. I HIGHLY recommend you call him and get an estimate.

I had excellent results with this company.  The owners Rickey and Will were professional and did exactly what they said they would do.  They kept me informed at every stage and worked with me on the design.  I called for a bid when I realized leaks in the shower and toilet areas were going to require a full restoration and remodel.  They warned me ahead of time of the potential for hidden damage as they demolished the floor and worked quickly to restore the area when three beams had to be removed and replaced.   Every sub that came in was polite and professional and worked very hard.  They cleaned up their mess and took care to cover my furniture. The price was good and the upgrades I initiated were effortlessly accommodated.   I plan to use them in the future and recommend them without reservation.  The only thing they left behind was a very happy client and a beautiful bath.
