Gutter Repair reviews in Richmond Hill

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • The dead leaves and Spanish Moss collect in the valleys of my roof, hold water and cause the roof to leak.  I called Mike Kenney Roofing to clean the roof off and also to clean out my gutters.  The men arrived and asked how I wanted to dispose of the debris and then went to work.  They cleaned out the roof valleys and bagged up all the debris from my gutters in no time.  I feel the work they did was excellent and they were certainly friendly and professional.  They also inspected my roof and told me it was in good shape.  They worked very quickly and efficiently and were done in under 2 hours.  I would not hesitate to hire them again and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of such services.

  • The crew showed up when they were supposed to and completed the job on time.   They will work with you to get it right should there be any issues.  I would definitely recommend them.

  • So far it has been 4 business days since I called and left a message and have not heard back yet from them to set up an appointment. I did read this in some of the reviews and the company had responded to a few of the reviews. Decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, but doesn't look like he needs the business. Not sure why the girl that answers the phone can't set appointments?? Called my local Lowes company and set an appointment with them and they showed up and gave me an estimate no problem. I could have probably just given Savannah gutters the same information off their quote to get the general idea of the cost, but like I said no return call. My time is as valuable as his/theirs, it's not like I'm sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring I have a job and have to take time either away from it to make the call or I have to wait until my break to make the call.

  • So far it has been pretty good. They are the lowest quote we've gotten so far. I'm planning to use them. We got an email proposal the same evening. They also gave us some other advice regarding the roof.

  • Came out to conduct an estimate (1st week in June).  Estimate mailed to us.  Called to make appointment (no specific date could be given due to their heavy workload and excessive rain during the month of June/July).  Late June appointment made. Workers showed up, work conducted and billed two weeks later.  Workers were professional, respectful of our property and cleaned as they worked.

  • Beyond pitiful, in my opinion. Apparently, Savannah Gutter has no employees to answer the phone. When the phone is answered, a person (live answering service?) takes the callers info and promises a return call. Receiving no return call, I called approximately one week later and again received no call in return. Repeated this process for a total of 4 or 5 times total. No response, ever. If a business handles potential customers in such a manner, or doesn't check its answeing service's performance or its Angie's List feedback at least occasionally, one would doubt the sincerity of its advertising. No way to run a business, in my opinion.

  • We were in need of gutters and down spouts. My husband contact several companies. Southeast had good reviews gave us color suggestions and they were the least expensive so we decided to work with Southeast Seamless Gutters. There was a little confusion with the installation date but a call was made and we were never left waiting - they came the next day. They took the time to make a plan and explain the installation process giving us choices which way our down spouts would run. They were also very accommodating after the completion of the agreed upon work area I asked them to do an additional side above my garden and they were able to come back the next day. They even offered to return and modify my down spout for my rain barrel. I was happy with our experience and I have already recommended Southeast to our neighbors.

  • Called to request an estimate. Was told i would be contacted. Waited approximately a week and called back to let them know I had not been contacted and would like to set up an appointment for an estimate. Was promised I would be called back. That still has not happened several weeks later. Was willing to overlook the no-call one time, but two times is too much to blindly offer a third chance.

  • Disasterous. We've ended up having all of the vinyl and exising fiber board removed and replaced. We are our  $1676. of supplies. Bottom line is the guy has absolutely NO business in the construction industry. His work is horrible. I would love to post pics to back up my review and will try. Actually, I've tried to post reviews to his various websites with pics, but I think he can remove any negative comments which is why his reviews are so fantastic....according to him.

Mr. Wright has sought have a lien placed on my house because he is upset about my very honest reviews of his work and company. Looks like we will be going to court as I was not willing to let another homeowner suffer through the grief I had dealing with this company.

2/28/2012 We are now working with an attorney as Mark Wright has filed a "nonpayment of funds or materials" suit against us. Interesting, since we paid for the materials (which he ruined) and we fired him for shoddy workmanship. Stayed tuned, but be wary of this business.

8/29/2012 STILL involved in a legal battle with this unprofessional, inconsiderate shyster. He has yet to provide his attorney with ANY documents supporting the case he has filed against me (mainly because there are none for his side) though SEVERAL requests have been made by my attorney. I am waiting for my attorney to compel him to testify in a deposition, but have heard nothing more. The lien he placed against my home out of anger and spite for me having complaining publicly about him, has caused me delays in getting my home refinanced and has costs me much personal aggravation. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS PERSON!!! Since he had the stones to sue me for firing him and complaining, my hands are tied by the impotent legal system to move on my countersuit. I am waiting for with baited breath for a court date.

We were surprised that all of our witnesses showed up in court. They all sided with us about the terrible work. The judge even agreed how bad it looked. That being said, we did not get our materials money back (appx 1700 dollars), but Apple Siders didn't get a dime either. The lien was voided which was our goal from the beginning. He could have just gone away, but he thought he could bully us. Not a chance!

  • We contracted Horton’s Roofing to add seamless gutters to our new home.  Horton roofing sub contracted the job to De`Ja`Vue Landscaping. The sub contractor didn't seem versed on how to go about the job, came ill equipt to do the job. After the installation, I called them back to inspect errors made.  There were leak in the system, the gutters were not seamless, gaps in the gitter attachment to the facia boards and a poor application of a down spout system.  Mr. Horton,s proposal read: 6 inch seamless gutters where needed, down spouts included.  After a heated discussion with the sub contractor, they returned, did the repairs, ( I hope we will see when it rains) and charged my wife an additional 45 dollars above the contracted fee  of $1275.00 for materials which they took with them when the first installation job was completed. The K -gutter piece they added for the down spout correction was short and did not extend beyond the facia board as it should, but my wife, who is unaware of what a proper installation should be, approved it.  So I guess we are stuck with it.  The installation by De`Ja` Vue is poorly done.  We didn't get seamless gutters. They borrowed ladders and a drill from me to complete the first  gutter installationattempt and asked to us our ladder on the return repair visit. From my experience,  I feel the sub contractor lacked integrity.  I would not recommend Gutter installations by Horton Roofing and their sub contractor De`Ja` Vue.
