  • When I arrived at the office, I was the only patient. The lady in the front was on the phone but quickly hung up and asked if she could help me. Not the friendliest person in the world, but she quickly took my info and asked me to take a seat in the waiting room. The doctor called me back almost immediately and led me to her office where she talked to me for a bit and then led me back into the examing room. I really liked this doctor. She seemed caring and thoughtful. She examined me quickly and we had another quick conversation afterward. I even asked her about my daughter and she was very willing to advise me. I will be back. The only thing is I would love if they were available more than just two days a week in Pooler, but that is just a minor thing.

  • He's very knowledgeable. He lets me know when he's concerned because colon cancer runs in my family and I had a polyp that came back cancerous. It was a very large polyp. I told him I'd like to wait a year so that my insurance would cover it and he said that was not an option. He sent me to a geneticist who was here in Savannah with Memorial Medical Center to see if I have the colon cancer gene because my father had colon cancer and looks like I could have inherited those genes. He's going to do surgery to remove a good part of my colon. The only thing is his availability and that is because he is the best gastroenterologist in Savannah. It's hard to get an appointment with him and the first initial appointment may take two or three months to get in to see him. He's a popular guy. Yesterday I waited for like an hour and a half and I was there for two hours in total. He spends a good deal of time with his patients and lets me know what is going on. He's very informative. I will see him in another six months for another colonoscopy.

  • i went there for my yearly exam and was not seen by a doctor but a nurse ... i stated that i had issues with cysts and fibroids before and wanted to schedule a ultrasound for the week after my initial appointment....asked prior to the ultrasound to please check with my insurance to see if it was covered... i was told yes when i called in to check on it and when i asked after my ultrasound.... ultra sound was performed by a doctor who asked me what i was told as far as who would tell me about the results and whether i had a follow appointment, told her i wasn`t sure so she told me she can`t view ultrasound images until a week later , spoke to my nurse that had done my yearly about a follow up appointment and she went to talk to the ultrasound specialist and came back telling me i had a cyst on my left side ( the location i had told her i experienced pain) but nothing else and they would call me back within a week.... i never heard back ... when i called back to check on my ultrasound results out of a sudden i was told no cyst on my right but on my left and growths `everywhere`` ... the nurse couldn`t tell me whether that was a reason to be concerned and just said `usually that stuff is not cancerous``... i found that strange and asked to be able to see the ultra sound image, i was told i had to mail a permission form since i was unable to take time off from work again to go pick it up, mailed the permission form , heard nothing back, called , spoke to a not very friendly person who told me to send the form again, so after doing this and waiting again finally months later i received a letter with two sentences and the information that my ultrasound images ( which is what i really wanted ) were missing, i also received a bill for the ultrasound that was supposed to be covered and they tried to charge me the copay i paid the first time again.....i had heard wonderful things about the center prior to going there but as a non pregnant patient i would never go there again

  • I came in for a routine annual physical. My wait time for this appt. was only about 10 min., which is on par with other appts. I have had there. Dr. Foley took the time to really listen to my concerns, thoroughly checked me over, and provided options to treat my health issues. I appreciate her gentle approach and caring bedside manner, and I completely trust her with my health care.
I had some major issues with the insurance billing for this visit though. This visit was initially incorrectly coded and sent to my insurance, where they did not pay the amount they normally would due to the billing code error. Not a big deal by itself- this stuff happens. However, after nearly a dozen frustrating phone calls over the past three months, I am unable to get the SC/C office to resubmit the corrected bill to my insurance so they can adjust it. Everybody I have talked to in Dr. Foley's office and the SJ/C billling office claim they have done what they needed to do to get the claim resubmitted, yet it has not been resubmitted (and SJ/C admits there is no record of it being resubmitted). Like a said, I have made nearly a dozen phone calls about this and am done wasting so much time and energy fighting with it. I give up.

  • Dr. Goldsmith is excellent; otherwise, I would not go to him because I am a nurse educator.  He is a great doctor because he answers your questions, he gets you in, he sees you promptly and if you have any problems, he tells you to call him.

  • Dr Fehr is awesome. She has delivered both of my girls in the past 3 years. I had to have c-sections with both and Dr Fehr was great. I have no complaints about my surgery and recovery was easy as can be expected. She is calm, caring and has a sense of humor, which when you're scared and pregnant is a fabulous combination to have. She treated me as an actual person and not just another chart who passes through her office. She is the sole doctor in her practice, so I don't feel like I'm one of many patients who never knows which doctor they'll be seeing on any given day. Fehr listened to me and never made me feel rushed or foolish for any of my questions. I don't plan on having any more children, but if I did, Dr Fehr would definitely be the person I would want delivering them.

  • I do like her because she is smart and thorough.  However, I cannot say that I love the experience.  I liked some of the experience but I do have a few comments about the staff nurses.  They are not so friendly, and they are kind of pushy.  They just bring you in and out.  The doctor takes the time to talk to me about my self and individual things that I am going through, but I do not feel very secured with her because I do not feel like she is really taking care of me.  Every time I have to confirm something with the staff nurses, they are not very friendly about making you feel comfortable with the situation.  They are just like take it or do it, and that is the end of it.  It takes three months to make an appointment with them.  The office staffs are very nice, but the nurse staffs are not.

  • She saw me for prenatal care throughout the whole pregnancy. She was fine. I feel like she is very knowledgeable in her field and really kept me up to dated throughout the whole pregnancy about what stages I was going through and what to expect next. She's just pleasant in general to deal with.
I had a lot of trouble billing with my insurance because they forgot to mark down that I had a new insurance company and they kept billing the old one. It was a lot of headaches.

  • No further examination made; doctor went on labs I brought in but missed the abnormal results. He had already diagnosed me before finding the abnormal result. He kept his original diagnosis and added a new condition to it without any further testing. I was given several prescriptions and sent on my way. I don't believe any effort was made to ascertain my true condition.

  • The classes, check-ups and birthing process were all very good. However, your first 12 hours post-delivery are included in the price you pay before delivery, and you're billed per hour for anything beyond 12 hours. My wife and I left the Birth Center 12 hours and 7 mins after our son was delivered (would have been an hour earlier, if not for having to wait for the midwife to discharge us) and we were billed for another full hour... over $200. Pretty ridiculous. Wrote them a letter disputing the charge, still have not heard anything from them.
