  • Services performed efficiently; oven works. I am the reviewer that left the review on December 1st. I need to update the information to give the rest of the story. So the alternative provider didn't really have the equipment to do the work, and the price quoted was actually higher than Advance Appliance, so my objections to price doesn't really reflect the "market price" for the services rendered. It seems expensive, but they got the job done and for less than quotes from others. The service is very quick and efficient, and the scheduling is easy. Well run operation. Technician exuded confidence and competence.

  • Prior to Labor Day Weekend, they told me that they would call me Monday night to schedule my service for Tuesday. Monday came and went with no call, and when I contacted them by phone on Tuesday, I was told that they would call me back in a few minutes, but I was not called. The person answering the phone sounded overwhelmed and wasn't overly nice during our interaction.

  • I saved some money cleaning the waxy like substance (fabric softener abuse) myself on the washing machine adgitator assembly while Mr. Ron Rudolph (the business owner himself) worked on some problems I was having on my matching dryer. We were chatting about this and that the entire time and it never slowed either of us as we were busy at our own specific chores.  I was very pleased with his work and professionalism and would refer him to anyone.

  • Ace arrived at my home minutes before I did; this was great so that I didn't have to wait. The service rep. came in and I told him the problem. He went up into the attic, then he checked the AC unit outside, and after a few minutes,he was able to identify and problem and provded a solution. He did asked me pertenient questions like - (a) how long we lived in our current home; and if we ever had the units serviced.
    After he explained to me how he can fix the problem, the next thing he did was explained to me what the process was that he was going to perform - which I agreed to. I got the bill and wrote the check. He even suggested a yearly maintenance plan which I didn't sign up for at the time, but I will.
    As of today, 8/11/2013, we have not have any drainage backup in the emergency pan and the unit is performing great. Ace Heating and Air did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them.

  • I am still having a bad experience with them. They stopped working on it a few weeks ago. They sent someone out and first and foremost let me say that they are not pleasant to deal with at all. They act like you are inconvenience to them. They get annoyed when you talk with them. From the very beginning of the phone conversation, they are annoyed. They send somebody out and the motor needed to be replaced.  There was a sensor that needed to be replaced so they ordered part and they brought it out and installed it and the part didn't work. Lo and behold, the part they ordered was a rebuilt part. They put a rebuilt part in and they are going to charge the warranty company for a new part. Of course it didn't work so they had to reorder the part. They came out on the 9th which was on a Friday, they didn't order the part until the 14th. I called last week to ask about it because we got thanksgiving coming up and I have a lot of people coming at home and I need to be able to use my stove and I asked her. They said we will let you know if it comes in. I have yet to hear from them and quite honestly and quite frankly, everyone I have dealt with has been rude.

  • The technician came out and tore my refrigerator apart to diagnose the problem  He didn't really seem to know what he was doing, and that was apparent when he didn't put everything back together the right way.  I had to go back and fix what he did.
    At one point, he looked at the main control panel for the fridge and said that one of the capacitors was bulged and it was bad.  When I asked him to show it to me, he turned his back.
    His estimate came in at over $500, which didn't add up when he broke down parts and labor.
    Needless to say, An overall poor experience, and I would not recommend these guys to anyone.

  • This is actually the third time I have used Mr. Appliance.  On all occassions, Mr. Appliance was professional and prompt.  Very knowledgeable and truthful.  Same day service two out of the three service calls.  Just a little bit expensive; but, I thought fair and the job was proformed properly.

  • The price covered the parts, sales tax, service call and labor charge.  I think there was a problem with the starter for the condenser.  We have used them several times in the past.  If you call them, they will try to get to you the same day, else usually the next day.  They try to get out as soon as they can.  My husband used them for his refrigerator when he first moved here, that was before I met him.  We have been calling them ever since.  I called them last year for our dryer.  It wasn’t working properly; it just took a long time to dry.  They were in and out in 15 minutes and it has been working great ever since.  We use them because they are approachable.  They will call you when they are on their way to make sure you will be home.  They work with you.

  • Did an excellent job on time and per the estimate given for the work. Was pleased with both the work and the good information given when making the decision on what type of unit to replace the other unit with.
