TATE THE GREAT MOVING COMPANY LLC
They were very friendly and very fast. Also, they were very conscientious about my furniture and boxes and nothing was damaged. It is always a little frightening to move into a new build with white walls everywhere and lots of stairs - but again, the guys were very careful and not a scratch on anything. I will use them again when I move my parents.

TATE THE GREAT MOVING COMPANY LLC
Thomas and his helper were there on time and ready to move the piano.  They were very careful with the piano and the doorways, etc when moving.  They were very careful in unloading the piano, not backing truck over soft area and not letting piano go into the pool (lol).  They were professional but very friendly.  I will certainly recommend them to friends and family for moving anything.  And I would use them again. Thank you for being so careful with my old treasure.

TATE THE GREAT MOVING COMPANY LLC
Short version:  They are unequivocally the best movers we?ve ever used.  Professional, punctual, efficient, truly expert
at what they do.  All our belongings were handled carefully, wrapped with protective blankets, and securely placed in the
truck; everything arrived in the same condition it was in before the move.   Not a single ding, chip, or misstep anywhere
along the line.  Hire them; you will not regret it!

Long version:  My wife and I are senior citizen retirees who relocated from Ohio to Newnan a year and
a half ago, and wanted to move from one apartment complex to another one this past February.  We did the usual Google
searching for local movers in the Newnan area, but could find only 2-3 companies, none of which had extensive (or particularly good) reviews.    So, we decided to renew our Angie?s List membership, in hopes of finding a more qualified moving company that way.
When we came across Tate the Great in Angie?s List, we were impressed with their large number of highly favorable reviews, and the fact that they are a Better Business Bureau accredited company (some companies claim to be BBB accredited but are in fact NOT; Tate the Great really IS, and furthermore has an A+ rating with the Metro Atlanta BBB).  We contacted Tate the
Great?s office, and discussed the particulars of our move with their manager (a very professional and courteous gentleman).
We were favorably impressed and after due deliberation, decided to go with their Angie?s List special: $800 for a truck and three man crew for six (6) hours.

(To put things into perspective, and hopefully help other Angie?s List readers compare our move to their upcoming moves to see if our ?deal? would work for them: we went from a first floor two-bedroom walk-in apartment with easy access to the moving truck, to another first floor apartment, also with easy truck access, about 10-15 minutes away.   Items moved included a large overstuffed couch, two recliner chairs, two end tables, a glass top sofa table, two small benches, an occasional chair, two large
six-foot bookcases, a smaller bookcase, two glass front curio cabinets, a round dining room table and four heavy wooden chairs, a boxed microwave oven, two queen size beds, four night stands , two large dressers and two chests of drawers,
two small chests, a 46? flat screen TV and stand, a boxed computer, a computer desk and office chair, eight large plastic storage bins of holiday decorations, a fold up camping table, and approximately 65 boxes of ?stuff? that we had packed and sealed ourselves.  We did not have any patio furniture, mowers, yard tools, or kitchen / laundry room appliances.)
The crew was scheduled to arrive by 10:00 AM February 26th; they called at 9:15 that morning to inform us that they were on the way.  At 9:56 the driver was knocking on our door, as the other two movers were pulling into the parking lot behind him.  He did a swift but thorough inventory of the items to be moved, and they then got down to work.
From the very start, it was obvious that the crew knew what they were doing, and got along very well with one another.  They worked efficiently and harmoniously, with no wasted motion.  Everything was handled with great care and wrapped carefully (including a large framed art print and 46? TV); items were precisely placed in the truck to ensure nothing came loose in transit.  They kept us apprised us of what they were doing, and answered any questions we had in a pleasant and professional manner.  Before three hours were up, we were heading over to the new apartment.
When we arrived at our new residence, things went just as smoothly.  The men unloaded and arranged the furniture per our preferences, and put the storage bins and moving boxes where we wanted them.  There was absolutely NO damage done whatsoever to our possessions, or the apartment walls / floors, during the entire process.
Furthermore, since the crew was ahead of schedule by half an hour or so when they were finishing up, they on their own volition asked if we?d like for them to repair the damage done to a piece of furniture by a previous moving company we?d used, by reattaching a broken foot to one of the dressers.  (We?d had the dresser jury-rig propped up on the foot for the past 18 months or so; I had made them aware of it when they did the inventory).  I readily agreed, since the repair required one man to tip the dresser on its side and another to use the power drill to reattach the foot; this is not something my wife and I could have done on our own.  They fixed it, and the dresser is now back to the way it should be.
To net things out: Tate the Great did a superb job for us, and we are totally satisfied with the work performed.  We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing movers in the Atlanta area.
Note: I realize this review is somewhat lengthy, but I did want to make sure I touched on all the good things Tate the Great did for
us.  We have moved several times locally in different cities, and made one long distance move, so we?re not totally
naive when it comes to hiring movers.  Tate is head and shoulders above any company we have ever used.

    Mark the Mover Inc
It was awesome.  The cost was very reasonable, and all of the movers were extremely professional.  They worked consistently and quickly, and protected our furniture very well.  I would use them in the future.

    STRONG ARMS IN A TRUCK
Initially I would say that our experience was very strong. They were really flexible, communication was good and very helpful and comforting when we had some potential last minute hiccups with our move date.
The guys who came were nice and mostly professional. We liked their crew leader and they had one guy who seemed like a superstar - I would have hired him on the spot if I had a similar service business.
The problem is in their efficiency they damaged a lot of our stuff. When we got to the house and the space for the refrigerator was clearly too small they just kept trying to squeeze it in and damaged our brand new cabinets. As we lived in the house we've seen more and more damage to walls and property. I was hoping to include some pictures but I guess that's not possible. Thye broke a chair leg in half, significantly damaged legs and tops of other furniture and beat up some walls in our brand new home.
I did send pictures to the company (before we knew the extent of damage but some clearly bad issues) and they basically said "Thanks for the candid feedback" but nothing else.
I would say it's possible that you could get a good overall experience here, and the price is certainly good, but I wouldn't touch them again with a 24' truck.

    Nice Moves
in the past 3 years I have use two other movers...the cost and the move experience never went the way it was promised.
Marty and his helper were very professional and responsive to my move needs. Keep me informed when their day got
    behind.
Would recommend if you have a move Marty and his crew will make this a easy experience.

    Fayette Movers
Tommy Jones the owner of Fayette Movers was very reliable in calling me back and giving me an affordable quote and time of service window. The 2 workers Andrew & Robert worked quickly and efficiently setting up furniture where it was needed and emptying my moving container of belongings.

    Atlanta Peach Movers
I contacted Atlanta Peach Movers via their web-site about an upcoming out of state move.  After receiving a very sarcastic email asking me to fill out a list of items to be moved so that they could give me an estimate I took the time to list every item to be moved and returned the information to them. I attempted to contact them many times after I returned the email with the list of items and never heard from them again. The individual that I dealt with was Bill Boone and I am extremely disappointed with lack of service provided.

    Southeast Van Lines, Inc.
This move started out fairly smoothly but ended up very badly.  I contracted with this company primarily due to the fact that they were available for the date I wanted to move.  My move was at the end of June which I found out is a very busy time for movers.  As a result, my top choices based upon the ratings I got from Angie's List were not available, so I chose what I thought would be the next best mover.
The initial move was to cost me $7000.00 which I suspect was above the going rate for a move of the size and distance I required.  When the movers arrived, I had planned on moving a number of the items myself but they offered to pack and move the items I had remaining for an additional $2000.00 plus I had to buy the boxes and packing materials that would be required.  Although going to get the boxes and packing materials was an inconvenience, I agreed to it.
The packing, loading and move of my belongings appeared to go pretty well.  The quality of the packing and handling of my belongings I discovered was extremely bad.  When I started unpacking the items that they had packed, I found the worst imaginable.  They had packed fragile items such as china, computers, musical instruments, vinyl records, cd's, lamps and framed pictures without any packing materials or protection whatsoever.  In one box I discovered a desktop computer, a printer, several framed pictures and a lamp all literally jammed into the box with no packing materials whatsoever.  Three of the pictures had the glass broken out of the frames and part of the printer was cracked.  The lamp had the socket broken off and the bulb broken.  I have many boxes packed the same way with a least one broken item in each one.  There are too many to list here.  And that is just for the boxes that I have unpacked which is about half of the boxes that they packed.  I fear what I am going to find by the time I have unpacked everything.
All of the boxes were clearly marked as to where they should go in the house that I was moving into.  I have had to do a lot of lifting and carrying of boxes that were left in the wrong rooms or left upstairs when they should have been put in the basement or vice versa.  I have moved several times over my lifetime and a few misplaced boxes is somewhat understandable but Southeast Van Lines is by far the worst I have ever used.
To their credit, they were timely.  They were where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there.  Unfortunately, that is the only good thing that I can say about them.  What I discovered after they left should not be the experience anyone else should endure.  I have not filed any type of claim against them because the time and effort to list all of the things damaged would in itself be more than I can manage.  I will chalk this experience up to knowing better next time and staying with a reputable company that has received favorable ratings from something such as Angie's List.
