    West Georgia Design Build Inc
Due to faulty work by the builder of my house, the shower pan and water proofing failed. I received a quote from Stacy at West Georgia Design Build to completely tear out the old shower back to the wall studs, install a new shower pan, install new wall board, water proof the entire shower, tile the shower, and run additional plumbing and install new shower fixtures. Additionally, drywall and baseboards were repaired from where the shower pan leaked. Stacy and Dwight provided a date to begin the work and Dwight and his crew arrived promptly on the agreed upon date. Dwight was able to show me where the leak had occurred after removing the old tile, and also pointed out several other shortcuts that had been taken by the builder (i.e., no waterproofing on any walls, tears in the water proofing membrane on the shower pan, spot application of cement to wall tiles, and a shower seat that had been installed using CINDER BLOCKS instead of 2x4 framing). Dwight and his crew showed up on time every day, cleaned up at the end of every day, and reinstalled the new shower as it should have been done in the first place, using the Triton Watertight System to waterproof the entire shower, as well as installing all new tile, and running the plumbing for a new rainhead shower. The new shower looks great and I am very happy with the work and professionalism of everyone in the company.

    West Georgia Design Build Inc
I hired West Georgia Design Build to remodel at my residence. In the master shower the floor did not drain properly due to Dwight installation errors. On the third attempt, the floor now drains properly, but a large portion of the tile is now lighter than the initial tile that was not repaired. In addition, there are grout coloration inconsistencies on the master shower flooring. We had discussed with Dwight that we did not want to see a difference in installation if he repaired only half of the floor. The grout in the master shower niche was mixed incorrectly by hired help when Dwight left the worksite. It was applied with poor craftsmanship and overlaps individual tiles resulting in a sloppy finished product. In the guest bath remodel, the plumbing was not installed correctly. This resulted in water leaking on the exterior and interior of the wall upon our first use. The water ran down inside the wall to the lower level of the house. We had to discontinue use of this shower to prevent water damage until Dwight came out to repair the issue. They did not take caution when moving materials during the remodel resulting in damage to hardwood floors and two walls. Final clean-up was not satisfactory as they left unused materials in the yard, including small pieces of tile and chunks of hardened grout. Stacy never came out to review the final product and is currently refusing to come and make things right. Were very disappointed with the issues mentioned above. I wish I could report resolution, but cannot at this time.

    Swift Painters
Swift Painters were great! Tom and his wife came out to give an estimate, they were so nice and professional. After receiving the estimate, I contacted two other companies to compare prices, and not only was swift painters the best priced, but they were the nicest who were willing to go above and beyond the job. They did not disappoint. My house was treated with the upmost respect and looks 100% better! Not to mention that they let my 12 year-old dog hang out with them while they painted and worked. I trusted them with my house (since they worked while no one was home), and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I am definitely only using them for future home repairs!

    On The Level Renovations, LLC
It went wonderfully. He was very kind and willing to give his opinion. He used his years of knowledge and experience to guide me through the process and on what would suit my needs (what would truly be easy to clean and what things are going to look like down the road). He was easy to understand when he explained what he was doing. He is honest and reliable. We gave him a set of keys to the house because we couldn't always be there to let him in. We are having him do the kitchen next.

    Cranford Homes, Inc.
HUGE disappointment and regret that we ever selected this builder to build my home. So many sloppy mistakes, failed to consult me on any of my preferences for my custom build, daily excuses, delays and tons of empty promises. Was dismissive to my concerns on nearly every phone call and made a point to demean my husband only when he was holding him accountable. On the day after we fired him, he took our new permit and our electric meter as a vindictive reaction.

    Five Star Renovations Inc
I went with Five Star Painting in Snellville, Ga. The price was similar to other painters in my area but they seemed more professional. The estimator took his time to review the S.O.W and he provided a reasonable estimate on the spot. They completed the job super fast. If i were a contractor, they would be my first point of contact. The price was right, the crew was reliable and respectful, and they got the job done in a less then a week. I would highly recommend Ken from Five Star Painting to everyone i know.

    West Georgia Design Build Inc
The whole process went very smoothly. Stacy, Dwight, Israel and Gabby were awesome to work with. From initial estimate to picking out tiles, sinks and other materials to the demo and remodel, everything went very well. They showed up on time every day, stayed on the job, took great care to protect surrounding areas and carpets and cleaned up the area when they left for the day. They did an awesome job and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend West Georgia Design Build and will definitely hire them for future projects.

    G&P Painting & Home Improvement

We had the work done in two different phases and at all times they were prompt and always contacted me if they were running behind for some reason.   Workers were very nice and went above and beyond to help with issues that came up to make the job continue on even though they charged me no extra.   Their prices were very fair and their work is excellent.  I needed help in so many ways to complete a home addition that a previous contractor had left us stranded for the most part.  My husband had been trying to finish but working his regular job had no time to get things done.

We are so very thankful that we were recommended Gary Brown and his team to help us get through this project!   They were a pleasure to work with and we definitely plan to use them in the future!!!!!

    Newotonmore Construction
2nd Time we have used Nick MacPherson and his Newtonmore Construction.  First time was 5 years ago when we had them do some repair work on a screened deck and make a big room in the basement into two rooms for a home office.
This time we remodeled our kitchen and two upstairs bathrooms.  We moved from builder grade (crap) cabinets to custom built cabinets in the kitchen and home depot procurred high end cabinets in the bathrooms.  Nick advised us on subs as well as doing the primary tear out and some install.  We ended up going with Nicks' recomendation for the custom cabinets, Southern Cabinet Works, and were very happy.  Nick knows the right people and has no issue getting you kooked up with them.
We used Mega Granite of Newnan to do all the granite work and they installed the sinks.
    step1
Newtonmore tore out the existing cabinets in the kitchen and ripped up the linoleum flooring including the underlay.  He then layed cement board for the new tile.  This included ripping out a panty so we could replace the frame/drywall pantry with a custom pantry cabinet.  He also prepped electircal outlets for inside the cabinet (I installed LED's inside the panrty and under the main cabinet run after).
    step 2
Southern Custom Cabinets then came and installed the cabinets.  Mega Granite came and installed the granite and sinks.
    step 3
Nick's tile sub completed the kitchen floor in porcelin with a pattern (all but 2 tiles had some cut) and did a range backsplash
    step 4
    Nick installed all the appliances
    step 5
Once the kitchen was complete, Nick moved onto the two bathrooms.  He did these completely, tear out, tear out of flooring and concrete board prep, his sub tiled, and he installed the cabinets.
    step 6
His sub came in and did the bathroom floor tiling and Nick installd and connected the plumbing.
    step 7
This was the only real issue we had.  Nick was great in helping us time out his work with the cabinet people, granite people, nd his tile sub, but then he had a couple of big jobs hit and it was about  30 days before he could get back to finish the trim out.  We didn't really mind as he was so good about working around our timing when we had no kitchen and had no bathrooms.  he was defiantely there when we needed him!
    step 8
He finished the trim out and did a repair job in the garage (where I had put a foot through the the ceiling.
I would definately hire Nick again for my next job.  He is a small company that does excellent work and I have come to really trust him.  He says what he is going to do and does it.  You don't find that with many construction guys!
    I highly recommend.

Mr. Handyman of the Southwest Atlanta Suburbs
On time and very responsive.  Made recommendations before starting work.  Had to reschedule to finish up a couple days later, but arrived on time and finished.  Made sure work was satisfactory.  Job was done as we expected and look good.
