    West Georgia Design Build Inc
Due to faulty work by the builder of my house, the shower pan and water proofing failed. I received a quote from Stacy at West Georgia Design Build to completely tear out the old shower back to the wall studs, install a new shower pan, install new wall board, water proof the entire shower, tile the shower, and run additional plumbing and install new shower fixtures. Additionally, drywall and baseboards were repaired from where the shower pan leaked. Stacy and Dwight provided a date to begin the work and Dwight and his crew arrived promptly on the agreed upon date. Dwight was able to show me where the leak had occurred after removing the old tile, and also pointed out several other shortcuts that had been taken by the builder (i.e., no waterproofing on any walls, tears in the water proofing membrane on the shower pan, spot application of cement to wall tiles, and a shower seat that had been installed using CINDER BLOCKS instead of 2x4 framing). Dwight and his crew showed up on time every day, cleaned up at the end of every day, and reinstalled the new shower as it should have been done in the first place, using the Triton Watertight System to waterproof the entire shower, as well as installing all new tile, and running the plumbing for a new rainhead shower. The new shower looks great and I am very happy with the work and professionalism of everyone in the company.

    Eagle Painting Co Inc
Overall a great job at a fair price. Out six companies providing quotes, they won the business. Four other company quotes were thrown out for one being very low (half as much), and one for being very high (almost double), and two for no insurance. In the end, between two companies, Eagle got the business due to the reviews on Angie's List, and the discussion with Steve during the initial walk through for quote, and subsequent detailed quote covering all items discussed. The paint crew was on time every day. Crew leader Bobby was very organized, and worked with us on our ever changing order of rooms to paint, as furniture was moved from room to room, while considering the dogs & cat that were inside. All of the crew were genuinely nice guys, considerate of our belongings, and the most important they were good painters. Straight lines along walls to ceiling, and around the stained wood trim through out the house. Extensive drywall patching was required in garage, and now it looks great. We look forward to having them come back, once our unfinished basement if completed later this year.

Jason and his crew did a great job. They were on time (even early) and very polite. Jason and his crew said what they were going to do and then did what they said they would do. His crew was respectful of our home taking great care doing the work. I will hire Jason again when I need more work done.

    On The Level Renovations, LLC
It went wonderfully. He was very kind and willing to give his opinion. He used his years of knowledge and experience to guide me through the process and on what would suit my needs (what would truly be easy to clean and what things are going to look like down the road). He was easy to understand when he explained what he was doing. He is honest and reliable. We gave him a set of keys to the house because we couldn't always be there to let him in. We are having him do the kitchen next.

The whole process went very smoothly. Stacy, Dwight, Israel and Gabby were awesome to work with. From initial estimate to picking out tiles, sinks and other materials to the demo and remodel, everything went very well. They showed up on time every day, stayed on the job, took great care to protect surrounding areas and carpets and cleaned up the area when they left for the day. They did an awesome job and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend West Georgia Design Build and will definitely hire them for future projects.

Could not have gone better. The owners demand quality, and each of the 4 painters were thorough, professional, and respectful to me and to my family. We believe they went above and beyond what they had been asked to do. As an added bonus, Eagle Painting had the lowest bid price for the job in addition to doing more repairs than the other company that does a lot of work in our neighborhood. The total cost of exterior and interior painting was equal to what the other company wanted for just the exterior alone.

I cannot tell you how GREAT  QWR Handyman Repair services was.  I saw a sign in my neighbors yard and called to schedule an appointment for an estimate on repairs.  Jason Howard came over within one hour of my call.  I showed him all the work I needed done , 4 hours later I had a written estimate emailed to me , He came 2 days later and started working on all my repairs.   I made a  last minute decision to install shiplap in the mudroom.  I had Jason and his team in my living room watching  an episode of HGTV,  Fixer Upper,  and saying can you install shiplap just like this.  Well let me tell you,  Chip Gaines aint got nothing on QWR.   My room turned out gorgeous!!!!  QWR  will be back for all my future handyman services.  Cathy and Rick LaGuardia

    Integrity Home Improvements
Integrity Home Improvements did an awesome job in creating the room that we wanted. Gordon Bill, right from the start gave me confidence that what I was about to undertake would work. He spent over an hour going over everything and asking questions so that he could do an accurate estimate. Gordon told me the day before when and what time he would arrive at the house. He always showed up when he said he would within 15 minutes. He would even text me to say he would be 10 minutes late. The work was excellent. He only charged what he estimated and when I asked him to do more that originally planned, he would tell me how much prior to doing the work. To sum Integrity Home improvements work: it was done on time; no frustration where the contractor didn't show up; on budget; and best of all, beautiful work. I would and am recommending Bill Gordon's company to those who need handyman work done.

    KDL Painting

This is the second time we have used KDL Painting, and they have exceeded expectations again.  Their work is impeccable, and Kevin and his crew are professionals through and through.  We could not be more pleased with the new look in our house.  KDL will be back later this month to do exterior painting, and we can't wait to show off the beautiful results!

    QWR Handyman Services Inc

QWR is the worst company I l have ever used in over 30 years of home renovations. Their work was sloppy and very unprofessional.  I decided to use a local small business when I decided to do some much needed interior work on my own home. I meet with several and decided on Jason and his 2 man crew, he seemed like a nice guy and seemed to know his stuff. Jason said, he and his 2 man crew would jump on the job and it would be done right. (Jason worked less than 4 hours on the entire job, somedays I had one employee working, somedays two.) Jason had a coupon for 10% off jobs over $1000.00 on his Angies List website, when I gave it to him he wouldn't take it, he said I was suppose to give it to him before he made his estimate so he could up the estimate to cover it. So how was I saving anything??? The contact was signed on June 26th 2014,  the start date and end dates were left blank. I thought nothing of it since we had agreed verbally on the dates, and I have done this before with other larger companies with no problems. Jason assured me the job would be done in 5 days. The agreed dates came and went.(Please make sure he fills out all blank spaces on his contract, because if not, then it comes down to your word against his). Finally on Friday July 11th, one employee shows up. I knew then there was going to be a problem when he started asking ME for plastic, tape, and ladder to HIS job. Several hours later another employee shows up and they have to go buy the materials needed for the job (another hour lost). I went into the kitchen and they were using my kitchen chairs as ladders. When they left that afternoon, everything was covered in wet plaster from the popcorn ceiling, (floors, counters, walls and furniture). Both front and back porches had the same ceiling plaster walked all over them, along with carpets, rugs and wood floors. Kitchen was totally unusable all weekend and the following week. The second time I called Jason it was to complain of the mess that was being made on my floors and walls and how my furniture was being treated, he told me I was "getting out of hand". I am "getting out of hand" for complaining how my home and property are being treated??? Jason ask for the final payment so he could make his payroll, on Friday July 18th and assured me the crew would finish everything and clean up all the mess before they left for the day and the job would be finished. I took his word again and again I was disappointed. They left before doing any clean up at all, (or even finishing the job) right after Jason returned from the bank and paid them. I called Jason to see why the job wasn't finished, but it went straight to voicemail. I finally called one of the "crew" to see what the problem was and was told "we were tired". I was left with one coat of paint on the walls (with old paint showing through in a lot of places), wood floors and carpets with paint all over them, paint runs and splatters on baseboard and walls, paint overspray on windows, permanent wall fixtures and mirrors, new couch with white paint on I (that I had to remove), kitchen table and chairs with white paint splattered on them, window shutters and stair rails not even painted in foyer, (Jason and a "crew" member came on Saturday to do the rails and shutters, when they left, only the fronts that could be seen facing into the room were painted, stair side and window side were still left unpainted). Ceiling paint was used on trim that had oil based paint on them, so trim has brush marks and is very dull, (the trim paint Jason bought for the job is still full in my garage), paint on ceiling light fixtures, dust from sanding that was on surfaces and doors was not wiped off before painting leaving a rough texture that you can feel and see, bedroom doors were sprayed while still hung and overspray was on bedroom carpets, (carpet man had to cut it out and replace), list goes on and on. I have pictures of before and after and the before looks better! I wish I could put them on here. I have given Jason 7 days since he "finished" the job to come do a walk through and fix his work, still to this date I have not heard from him at all. I hope no one else has the problems I had with this company. I took a risk using this small local business and lost. This company has ended up costing me alot more in time and money than the highest bidder I had, since I will now have to pay to have it cleaned up and redone. Like the old saying goes "you get what you pay for". I sincerely hope if you decide to use this company, that you have a much better experience with them than I did.

UPDATE: In answer to your response to my review. have yet to hear from you on the walk through. And if you will look it was under painting. I have called the flooring installer (you sub-contracted with) to do my floors (because he told me to call HIM if any problems)3 times to fix ripples and bubbles under vinyl, he says he will be out to fix it and he has yet to show. Your estimate was lower on the roof because you did not replace sheet rock, roof wood, insulation, re-mud or re-paint anything in that room where the leak was. I have not reviewed roof because waiting to see if we have any leaks. Have not reviewed flooring because was waiting to give your sub-contractor time to finish (it's been to weeks, still waiting). Reviews were written for area of work done in each catogory. When you pay someone this much you expect pleasing results. I never told you that I was "happy" with anything since I have not seen or heard from you since. And carpets upstairs were not being replaced!
