Keith did a really nice job on Muggsys ears. The hair removal from the inner portion of his floppy ears was much better than our previous groomer. I appreciate the time he spent with me to find out what I wanted and how I liked the result. Muggsy was not exhausted afterward and he usually was previously so I assume the whole experience was less stressful for him.

I call the groomer, Ashley Arnold the "dog whisperer", because the dogs are so quiet when she is around.  I have recommended her many times because people ask who grooms the dogs because they are so cute. Bigger dogs are more expensive, but she is very reasonable. She is also licensed.

Since I have a puppy and an older dog, I buy different medications at different times.  One of my dogs, Pixie had her arm crushed, and Dr. Garcia saved her arm. He also gave me emergency advice when Pixie overheated.  I called him at home, and he called me right back. They are reasonably priced, and I can call them any time.

My complaint is two separate incidents:  Today is the worst; I took my dog in for booster shots and yearly checkup. In the waiting room was a middle aged couple with a little black dog in a basket. We waited about 30 minutes before the lady went to inquire about the delay. maybe 15 minutes later a doctor came out and the man told her the dog had stopped breathing, she went to get a stethoscope and confirmed that the dog had died. As it turned out the dog was an emergency case and sat in the waiting room all that time with I believe 2 vets in surgery; could one not come out and put the little fellow down or administered something for pain?  The surgery was a scheduled surgery, not another emergency!  When I,calmly, voiced my opinion on the wait for the emergency and for my appointment she told me she could have put petey on a table in the  back for the wait, and at that point I told her I would have felt better if she would have taken the other poor little dog into the back. They told me I could get a copy of my records and find somewhere else to go.The first incident I went thru was a follow up visit to check on Petey's progress with experimental treatment for heartworms. I rescued Petey from the Human Society knowing he had heartworms, after the experimental treatment didn't work I had to schedule a full  3 phase treatment for him. I took him for his first injection and was scheduling him for the second (and most dangerous) injection when I was told he would not be allowed to stay overnight (which is required with other vets because of the danger of the second injection), when I asked why the receptionist told me it was because Petey came from the Humane Society kennel.  This was like a slap in the face to me, one side of their face  congratulates me for the rescue and the other side of their face tells me he isn't welcome to be around the pure breeds being boarded in the back, and shame on me for going back for his boosters just for of convenience.
