I received a call from him about an hour before he was due to arrive, he showed up on time, and explained everything he needed to do while he was here. He repaired a wiring problem in my kitchen that had knocked out my garbage disposal and one of the GFCI outlets, replaced my smoke detectors (I had no clue they were only supposed to be good for 10 years; I've been in the house 18 years and had never replaced them) with combination smoke/CO detectors, and replaced the ceiling fixture in the kitchen. He then did an inspection of the breaker box and made some changes there to bring it up to current code and offered to install a full house surge protector (which I had him do as well). I was nervous about having an outsider in the house since I'm in a higher risk bracket for COVID, but Kyle kept his mask on properly and maintained distance while in the house, and the surfaces he touched were easily sanitized afterwards.- Jennifer L.

AAEM Construction & RestorationAfter a typical roof replacement gone TERRIBLY wrong (by another company, NOT AEM), AEM saved the day by renovating our entire house. Here's all the work they did for us: - Removing all the wet insulation, drywall, carpet, etc. - All new drywall (ceilings, walls, including making a doorway smaller for barn door installation) - Recessed lighting installation in every room in the house - All new tile in four bathrooms - Expanded master bath shower and glass shower door installation - New toilet and sink installation in every bathroom - Installed utility sink in laundry room - Removed wood flooring and installed Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring on main level - Sanded and stained all banisters - Re-bricked fireplace and shiplapped above fireplace - Installed new light fixtures and ceiling fans - Trim and paintwork throughout the entire house They did a great job. Naturally, with a job this big, we ran into some issues. Arnoldo was wonderful to work with. He was always willing to listen and worked hard to fix issues so that we were pleased. AAEM Construction & RestorationWe have worked with AEM multiple times. The two largest projects being master bathroom remodel and basement finishing. In the master bath they did a heated floor for us along with the tile, tub showers, new electrical. We have loved the space. More recently we had them work on the basement (framing, electrical, drywall, flooring, painting, fireplace). We are VERY PLEASED! I have always felt like their prices are very fair for the work they are doing. My only word of advice is that the timeline is fluid, we are ok with that and dont mide working with them on this. We will continue to work with AEM on future projects. But, if you are expecting militarily precision on time and schedule, don't. Again, not a complaint, we don't mind it. But others might, so set your expectations. Also if you want to see their work up close ask them, we are willing to let others see our basement if you want to see the quality of their work.- Drew L.

FI called Britebox out due to an electrical issue and found that a breaker needed to replaced. They replaced the breaker incorrectly (using the wrong part). I found out that this was the wrong part when we had further electrical issues causing an appliance motor to burn out, meaning the whole appliance had to replaced. I called Britebox again but they quoted me $10,000 and claimed the whole panel needed to be replaced (the same panel their own electrician had looked at a few months before). I called out another electrician who told me the panel was brand new and should not be touched but that the breaker that Britebox had installed was the wrong one and had caused the new issue. Have called Britebox 7 times to try and speak to someone about this and been told someone would call me back again and again to no avail. My most recent communication ended with them hanging up on me after I waited on hold for 15 minutes.
