ABel FloorsBel Floors just completed refinishing all the hardwood floors in my house - about 1800 sq ft. They are engineered hardwood and were quite worn, coming up a number of places and gaps between the ends of many of the boards. They glued down the pieces that had popped, filled all the gaps and after refinishing, the floors look incredible. Eddie is very knowledgeable about the engineered floors and about refinishing. Great on communication each day so I knew what was happening, and where things stood in the project. Everything went smoothly and I'm very pleased with the results.- SUE D.

AAEM Construction & RestorationAfter a typical roof replacement gone TERRIBLY wrong (by another company, NOT AEM), AEM saved the day by renovating our entire house. Here's all the work they did for us: - Removing all the wet insulation, drywall, carpet, etc. - All new drywall (ceilings, walls, including making a doorway smaller for barn door installation) - Recessed lighting installation in every room in the house - All new tile in four bathrooms - Expanded master bath shower and glass shower door installation - New toilet and sink installation in every bathroom - Installed utility sink in laundry room - Removed wood flooring and installed Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring on main level - Sanded and stained all banisters - Re-bricked fireplace and shiplapped above fireplace - Installed new light fixtures and ceiling fans - Trim and paintwork throughout the entire house They did a great job. Naturally, with a job this big, we ran into some issues. Arnoldo was wonderful to work with. He was always willing to listen and worked hard to fix issues so that we were pleased. ACWG ConstructionGreat work! Gurdon's team is very professional. They are very honest and do really beautiful work. They are also flexible and take great care to give you exactly what you've asked for with good attention to detail. The materials are of excellent quality. The new flooring is pretty. New cabinets and granite. All new electrical and all new plumbing. Our bay window looks gorgeous and the kitchen is lovely. It is so much more open and bright now. In fact, this is the first time in many decades of life that I have ever recommended a contractor! - Honest, transparent, and cost-effective pricing. - Continuous communication by text, email and in person about scheduling, daily schedule, etc. Even after the job, we got rapid response to a couple follow-up questions. - Incredibly high quality finished product. - Super easy to work with; accommodating to change orders; really listened to what WE wanted while still offering perspective from years of experience about how various options are likely to turn out. - Clean and tidy! They protected our carpets while tromping through the house. They clean up after themselves. - Veteran owned, small business - the people who own the business do the work. Not a general contractor. CReginald came out and was very courteous. Showed him the flooring i wanted installed and the repairs that needed to be done to the subfloor. Workers arrived on time and began working on subfloor repairs. Little while later Reginald called to say install would be more because it's laminate and not vinyl. I felt I shouldn't of had to pay because that was his mistake, I showed him the floor in the box that I wanted installed. Also, that my repair would be $50 more. But I paid the increase. There was some back and forth about when they could install now that it was laminate but they ended up completing it that day. The floors look great, they did a good job there. However, they left an absolute mess!!! I spent 2.5 hrs cleaning up after they left. Sawdust all over floors, mud and dirt on newly painted trim, some sort of chalky material splattered on newly painted walls, left my toilet in the bathtub because they said screws weren't long enough to put toilet back (but nobody asked if I could run to get screws). I had to put the toilet back myself. Left my back door off the hinge and I was home alone with my boys at night time (husband away in business). I knew the door wasn't going to be able to open but I didn't know they wouldn't put it back at all. I had to put it back on myself. Left pieces of wood, flooring pieces and trim pieces all over my backyard. When Reginald called to ask about the service I explained to him the issues. He was not at all apologetic, he had an excuse or argument for everything. I was very disappointed with the customer service and the lack of caring to make things right. I planned to use them to install flooring on our main floor and carpets on the 3rd floor but now I won't be returning and I've asked my mother to disregard calling them for her floors.
