ALee Falk (Finance Department) scammed me out of Gap insurance. General Manager, Charlie, refuses to return phone calls. I purchased a 2020 Hyundai Tuscon in April of 2020. My salesman was great. The experience was great until I was passed on to Lee Falk in the financing department. He started by asking my permission to video record our time. I agreed. Signing papers went as expected. As we were nearing the end of the transaction, I realized that I had not yet been offered Gap insurance. When I asked Lee, he said that the dealership did not offer Gap and that I would need to purchase it through my car insurance provider. I told him that was not how it had worked with any previous car I had purchased but he insisted that was Southtowne's policy. Unfortunately, I trusted him and signed the paperwork. I called my car insurance company the next morning and they explained that they do not offer Gap and that the dealership should have had me sign for it at the time of purchase. I called Lee at Southtowne and explained what the insurance had said. He then denied telling me that I was to get the Gap from my insurer. I reminded him that he had video recorded the transaction and asked to speak to his supervisor. Lee then told me that there was no one at the dealership higher in his department than he was. He started yelling that he had never told me anything about not offering Gap. I asked for the name of the general manager so that I could request that the video be pulled. Lee said that he did not have the name of the GM. I said, "You're telling me that you don't know the name of your boss?". Again, Lee began yelling and refused to give me the name of the General Manager of the dealership. When I continued to insist on speaking with someone else, Lee then slammed the phone down and hung up on me. I called again and was connected to a man who claimed to be the head of the financing department. He was very apologetic and gave me the name & number of the General Manager, Charlie. I left a message. Charlie called me back and said that he was going to speak with Lee and that the video recording would be pulled because Southtowne most definitely offered Gap. He said for me to call my financing company and ask if they could add gap to my loan amount. They said they could only do it if I paid a flat $4,000 Gap fee. I'm a single mother & unable to pay a large sum payment. I spoke with Charlie again and he said he was going to see what else he could do. 2 weeks went by with no response. Then a month, two months. I called repeatedly and left messages. I could never get Charlie to return my call. On August 31st, I was in a serious car wreck that totaled my 2020 Tuscon. Of course, I still did not have Gap insurance due to the false information given to me by Lee Falk and the lack of action on the part of Charlie. My car insurance covered all but $4,100 of my loan amount for the vehicle. Now, I am having to pay monthly payments due to no Gap insurance in addition to the payment for the vehicle I had to purchase to replace the Tuscon. I called Charlie multiple times over the course of several weeks following the wreck concerning the situation. He never returned my calls. The entire conversation and lie from Lee Faulk could have been heard if Charlie had pulled the recording like he claimed he would. I will share my story on every review source until the situation is resolved. I hope that my experience will spare another single mother from having to face what I have had to endure.

ARJ's Auto Body PlusI recommend RJ'S Auto Body Plus in Marietta as a GREAT FIND. My 16-year-old Lexus had peeling drip moldings, and a small minor dent, and rubs and scrapes on doors and bumpers. The Lexus dealer gave me an estimate of $800 to $1000 to replace EACH one of the two drip moldings on the roof of my car. Jeff, the owner of RJ's, told me the Lexus part did list for $800 each; but he offered to peel off the painted coating, and match paint the underlying metal strips for around $575. I was thrilled. I just picked up my car and it looks like near new. He buffed out and touched up some rubs and scrapes at many places around my car; and replaced all four of my tire sensors at my request, since one was bad and kept blinking on my dashboard, so I had 4 new ones installed (over $100 less for the parts alone than at Lexus dealer). I paid for his separate dent pull-out man to fix the small dent, and he did a great job too. This shop is So Good and Very Economical!!! He will do whatever you want and will try to save you the most money!! I would give this shop 6 stars on a 5 star system. My husbands car goes in after Christmas ..- Mary Beth B.

ARJ's Auto Body PlusI needed my wife’s Kia mirror replacement to be painted and installed. I called on RJ’s Auto Body Plus and was connected with Jeff. Although, some might consider this a small job, it was important to me in getting it done. From day one Jeff service was friendly, accurate and prompt. Friendly because Jeff did not put me off or acted awkward toward the job, accurate because what Jeff quotes you can trust and depend on and prompt, the car was in and out with no unnecessary delays due to the size of the job. I appreciate the service at RJ’s and I am ready to recommended anyone I know to patronize this establishment. Thank you, Jeff.- Melvin H.

AClassic Collision of ChambleeI have been a customer of Classic Collision Chamblee for few years now, fixed 3 cars there and my last one I had major issues with the repair, the paint job was good but the bumper fitting was really off, to make story short I was very unsatisfied with the work and my adjuster just didn’t care about my concerns and thought I was just being picky and said the insurance company won’t pay for a different fit and threat me to charge me storage fees if I didn’t get the vehicle now. I then contacted the general manager of the store Marc Bishop, and let me tell you, he turned me from a customer that will never be there again, to a loyal customer and will definitely be back. After I contacted the general manager Marc knowing that I am not getting anywhere with the store adjuster and I wasn’t going to pick up repair that I am not totally happy with it, he inspected the vehicle and told me to come back in one hour and he will take care of everything and make things right, and if it didn’t work, he will contact the Insurance company again to request a better fitting bumper and repaint it with no additional charge (which is the employee wanted to charge me again for it). Then he called me back stating he replaced a bracket and did few things that made things the way it should be. I take the time to give him two thumbs up for taking leadership in its best forms, turning a never coming back customer to a fully satisfied customer that will always be back. Thanks Marc.- Moody H.

ARJ's Auto Body PlusI was impressed with the owner’s responsiveness and desire to make sure the work was done right. Jeff comes across as an honest, hard working, knowledgeable individual. The estimate he gave was less than the dealer’s while still in the reasonable range. The final invoice was actually marginally less than the estimate! The car was ready for pick when advertised and it was in great condition, clean inside and out! Kudos to Jeff and his staff!- Sorin Z.

FHeritage Collision CenterNot well. Stephen Murray my technician / advisor is unprofessional, discourteous, condescending and most of all very rude and loquacious about me bringing my vehicle back to them for shorty work. They supposedly repaired my car but my car has had problems ever since. Heritage Collision is supposedly a reputable place, however they provide scandalous work to women. My car doesn’t stop when I’m backing from a parked position and they are aware. It has been like this since I picked it up over a year ago and Stephen Murray still will not accept any responsibility for my car’s condition after performing over $5000.00 of work on it. Also I paid for bearing work that was either not done or not done properly. Because the car is still not driving correctly. In which they won’t accept responsibility for. So please, please , please do not take your vehicle to this place. They do not stand behind there work. Although the work has a warranty on it. The service is horrible, they even charge you for diagnostic even when they performed the work and you bring it back. Also when I initially went to pick the vehicle up from the extensive job and body repair the car had a large scratch on the newly painted vehicle and the bumper wasn’t lined up with the other rubber like it was suppose to be and Stephen Murray said I don’t know what happened to the car. One of the shop guys must have did it. I said really, wow. So you aren’t even going to do a walk around of the vehicle you are just going to pass it on to me like this. I said unacceptable, I left my car there and instructed Stephen Murray to call me when my car was in new condition and ready to be picked up.- Sandra J.

ACollision One LLCI needed some minor collision repair from a low-speed accident. Collision One was highly recommended by my insurance agent and by Angie's List members. Their estimate was spot-on, and since they offer an Angie's List discount, I chose them. They helpfully referred me to a nearby Enterprise location (which happened to be the only one open on Sundays, which I needed). Matt also referred me to someone for trim work (upon my request). Due to road conditions at the time of my original appt, I could not get to the shop and had to reschedule, which caused some delay---but since the damage was only cosmetic, I didn't mind. I dropped off my car the Sunday before my new appt and called Monday morning to make sure they had me "checked in" (and they did). Matt noticed there was some add'l paint damage on the bumper and a broken fog light cover (not from the accident) and suggested that I get a new bumper and fog light cover instead of just a repair/repaint---he said this might be a good option since they had to take the existing bumper off anyway, and painting over the other damage wouldn't look quite right. It only cost another $200, and I'm looking to sell the car soon, so I said ok. I appreciated that he called me w/ options before proceeding with the original work order. I picked up my car Saturday; the transaction was easy; they already had all the insurance info prepared. The bumper looked terrific - the paint matched perfectly. They made sure to instruct me not to apply any wax to the bumper for at least 30 days (which I wasn't aware was an issue)---again, I appreciated their help and advice. There were a few minor drawbacks: they left the temp floormat and a can of glass cleaner inside the car (and a few smudges on the back seat), and my Angie's List discount check was actually not ready when I picked up the car (though I have no doubt they will send it promptly). No big deal. Overall, service and communication was excellent, and I would use them again (though I hope I don't need to!).- Emily F.
