AAcadia Shutters IncMy experience with Acadia Shutters was first class from beginning to end. They did everything they promised, showed up when they said they would and didn't leave until I was completely satisfied. Eric Peace came out to my home and without pressure, showed me all of my options for plantation shutters, and helped me to figure out what would work best in my home. He was kind enough to price everything out by individual room and window so that I am able to add a room at a time as the budget allows. I started out with 18 windows...an investment for sure! Acadia's prices were about the same as the do it yourself sites that I visited online. It took about 6 weeks to have my custom shutters ordered and installed..exactly as promised. Cedric was the installer and I thought for sure he would be there from morning until night to finish that many windows properly. He came in after 3 1/2 hours to let me know he was finished and ready for me to inspect them. I was amazed! They were all up, worked perfectly and looked beautiful. He gave me touch up paint in case I need it in the future. I can't imagine having to install 18 plantation shutters myself. So happy I decided to call these guys. It was a bit of a splurge, but my favorite thing for sure and worth every penny. Plus, my resale value just went up by thousands!...not that I ever want to leave now.- michelle c.

AI Dream of DraperyHer price was very reasonable. The quality of the work was just beautiful. She finished the drapes even with the decorative finish on the inside. She helped me select fabrics and gave suggestions on types of window treatments needed for each area. She knew how the fabric would hang with different linings and what rods I needed. She knew how to measure for the drapes. She never came to the house, she didn't need to. Everything she told me was accurate and helpful. She had the order ready the week she told me it would be ready. I only got the order in the week before Thanksgiving and she promised they would be ready by Thanksgiving day. They were ready the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I can't say enough good things about the quality and accuracy of her work as well as the communication between us.- Frances B.

CDESIGN SOLUTIONSIn our opinion, this was a mis-matched bunch of antiques that did not complement the scale, color, or design of the home. While we never received a timely bill, we were frequently reminded of payment (via text message) and, a few months after the close when we sought the return of our deposit, were surprised with additional moving charges. DBudget BlindsI had planned on using them, but didn't. I was not pleased at all with their service and getting back to me. The man that came out didn't seem to have a very good selection or understand what it was that I was looking for. I needed advice about what would be good window treatments and they didn't follow up. Then they took too forever to get back to me. I had phone calls not returned and just decided it was a waste of time to deal with them.- Frances B.

AMatthew was originally hired to assist my nephew in preperation for the Parochial High School Admissions exam. Building a relationship with Matthew was the best thing for my nephew. Matthew was very safe going into this situation creating a trusting a environment. Not knowing what he was walking into, Matthew quickly learned that my nephew’s academic inabilities were far more important than preparing for an high school entrance exam. Immediately Matthew begin working on creating a plan of action. He is very patient, yet intentional about holding my nephew accountable. Moreover, he follows up and send reminders for my nephew (I.e. don’t forget to bring your book home from school, remember to work on your math). Although we have a long way to go, it’s safe to say that we are seeing some progress. Thanks Matthew.

ALeonardo the owner came out promptly to measure and quote, was straightforward about the scope of the job and made suggestions to reduce the cost. A couple of days’ delay on the install timing but Leonardo was communicative and honest. When the installers came it took less time than expected, looks great and the quality seems very good. We’ll see in a year after some use, however I expect it will be just as solid then. No issues with our dogs being in the house. Once the crew got to work, they paid no mind to each other. Had another quote as well and Dreamworks’ pricing was lower. Personal service, good pricing and quality product.

FIf I could give zero stars, I would. First, it was taking forever to get my order. When I looked at my order, they somehow had the wrong address (my former address from five years ago), so I contacted them to change the address. They assured me that the address was changed. A couple of weeks later, I was notified via email that my order was delivered but when I checked my front door it wasn't there, so I went to my old address, 30 minutes away and got lucky that the owner was there and had received my order. When I got it home the 3 roller shades that I ordered for side-by-side windows were all 4 inches too big. I followed the online measurement directions which suggested that you add 2 inches per side to your measurements for an outside mount. I should have stayed with my original measurements. When I called, they suggested that I keep an inch on each side. They re-made them, and AGAIN sent them to the wrong address - even after I re-confirmed that they had the right one. Again, I had to go to my old address to look for my delivery. This time, no one was home, so I took a chance and waited in front of their house for a while until someone may come home. Luckily, someone showed up within 90 minutes. This time they had showed up with 2 boxes! They re-made it twice (6 roller shades), all still too big! Due to the global pandemic and for personal reasons, I waited to address the issue. When I finally was able to contact them, I was sent a message that the CSR's supervisor determined that the blinds were made correctly. Therefore, they cannot offer a remake for this order. Their policy states that they will make up to 4 shades if the customer is not completely happy. However, they offered to remake the shades at a discounted price! I will not give them one more penny! Worst service ever! A $500.00 lesson learned - They stole my money and left me with 9 useless roller shades to get rid of. I do not recommend them!

FThey still have not emailed warranty info. I should not have to and never have had to professionally clean carpet every few months. And the carpet shown was plush and soft but the carpet delivered was thin and the pile was very sparce and was not standing and soft like the sample. It is flat and no softer than hard wood after a few months. It took months to get a response from the company and has proven they sell top carpets but deliver substandard and dont care if the customer is satisfied. I was suckered into a bait and switch sucker deal. Dont fall for their garbage!
