Interior Painting reviews in Mcdonough

  • We chose Armando Woodley's painting company to paint our kitchen ceiling after the "popcorn" had been removed. We also got an estimate for the kitchen walls, dining room, living room and two hallways to be done. His crew came out and removed the pictures, paintings, etc from the walls, moved the furniture carefully into the centers of the rooms and covered it with plastic sheeting. They put paper all over the floors and taped it down. They sanded, spackled and prepped the walls and ceiling and did a fantastic job of painting. We are thrilled with the work they did and afterwards they put everything back in place and cleaned up the whole area. We cannot say enough good things about this company and we recommend them highly to everyone looking for a great painting crew. Renee Talcott, McDonough, GA

  • The job was tough due to the existing glued down engineered flooring over slab replacement and existing oil-based trim paint. The complete job took slightly longer than estimated but there were no price increases and finished job turned out excellent.

  • Excellent! Denver works fast, pays attention to detail and does excellent work! We bought a new home and Denver painted our kitchen cabinets (they came out beautiful) and our entire upstairs and basement. We will always call on him for our painting needs.

  • I cannot say enough good things about Jim and his crew. His responsiveness and professionalism were second to none. Very flexible in working with us. We purchased most of the hardware, tile, tub, shower pan and paint through various sources resulting in getting exactly what we wanted. Jim’s recommendations for various items was always spot on. The price point was initially more than we wanted but came to the realization after researching other contractors that quality is worth paying for. Could it be done cheaper? Absolutely! But I would bet that we would not have been as happy with the result or the quality of the work. We plan to use him again to build a detached 3 car garage next spring. Pictures attached for your review.

  • It was a pleasure to work with Jim and his sub contractors on our kitchen remodel. Every sub, from the demo crew, to dry wall, painters, electricians, to the granite retailer, and not the least of which, the custom cabinet maker, all produced the highest quality product. The project went exactly according to plan and was completed on schedule. Jim was always available to us during the project and took great care making sure we got what we really wanted. We highly recommend J. R. Jones Construction Inc.

  • Fantastic! Kevin and his team were there on time. Very professional and very friendly. He even let us borrow a ladder when we needed to hang more stuff on our high ceiling! They did a fast and excellent job at a great price. They are so good, we will hire them again to paint the rest of the house next year. You cannot go wrong with this company!

  • It went great! We had a total of three estimates, and Kevin @ KDL came under the first two. Not only did I save some money, it looks great. we even had him do some extra work for a small fee, and still came under budget. Kevin was very professional, were there on time, and finished early. After the work, he walked us through the rooms and made sure we were completely happy. Would I hire him again, YES !

  • Jennifer was professional, courteous, friendly and very responsive and engaging. Great suggestions throughout job. Job started and finished on time. Her team was equally professional and friendly. Do not hesitate to hire this great company!

  • The resealing of the basement window went well--nice job. The painting of the laundry room ceiling was poorly done. The paint job looks very unprofessional. Someone else will have to be hired to repaint the laundry room ceiling.

  • We needed a lot of work done. Started with a bathroom remodel. That went pretty well. He didn't ask for money up front, only half. Paid for a shower door in March of 2016, that he refunded in March of 2017 since it was more to purchase from his ex inlaws than he thought. Promised door coming door coming for months. He owed this business money so he could not get the door. I asked him to refund more than we paid him since he kept our money all year. He did. We went out of town another time, I left a blank check for a door that he had purchased and we owed him for. We were going to do the next bathroom, we had talked about it, but not agreed upon price. He wrote himself a check for several hundred dollars, went to bank and cashed it. It was way more than this bathroom job should have been. Even at that, he did a fairly good job. There are unfinished pieces of business in every room he touches. He quoted what we thought was a decent price for a kitchen remodel in April 2016. If we paid him up front, he would hang and paint doors for us (we purchased). It is May 2017 and some of these doors are still not painted. He would quote paint and we would pay it and he would send me for more on my dime. Despite all that, we let him install laminate flooring while we were out of country for a week. I will give you a good price, you know me. This was huge mistake. On top of adding a pantry and installing this, he worked on the kitchen that was paid for ten months prior. The tile is uneven, the cabinet doors that he took off to hang microwave are in his possession. They are coming they are coming. No cabinet doors. The tile doesn't meet the bottom of the cabinet, the laminate flooring doesn't meet the fireplace. The doors are not painted. He charged us double on the laminate flooring, aside from using my Lowe's card to buy quarter round that was included in the kitchen install we had paid for 10 months prior. Why would we fall for that again? Promised to refund 400 for overcharging us on the quarter round. Haven't seen it. Litigation is in his future. He works full time for Paces remodeling. He has his kids half the time and uses that as an excuse, even though he always finds time to show up if there is money to be made. He is a rip off and con artist. We have given him approximately 15k this past year. Why we kept using him is beyond me. He would do a good job on something and we would fall for it again. I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, you guys. Mr. Fake Humble. We have unfinished biz in almost every room. He has our cabinet doors. Aside from the unfinished and shoddy work, he also owes us 400.
