    The place smelled awful of poop and urine and the floors were dirty upon entering on April 28, 2017. They weren't as rude on the first day because thy were trying to get our money. They were rude and, unresponsive on subsequent visits. They mislead us into thinking that they are a full service animal clinic/hospital that could handle all our needs. If I knew that in advance, I would have went somewhere else. I was under the impression that they were a full service animal facility when they offered heartworm treatment. I took my dog there on April 28, 2017 for shots and heartworm testing. My dog wasn't sick. The DVM who could barely speak English listened to my dog's heart, temperature, skin coat was good, weight was good for his size and said that he was healthy and his heart was strong. No Lab work was done to ensure that everything was fine to recommend any treatment for the first time seeing my dog. At that time, I didn't know that this should have been done. The DVM stated that my dog was heartworm positive. In comes a member of the staff that was assisting him and the DVM saying that my dog would be fine. He was strong enough to undergo heartworm treatment. The DVM and staff stated that the full heartworm treatment he provides would fully eradicate and kill all heartworms in my dog. The price of the treatment was $464 dollars for 30 days of oral Doxycycline and a 6 month supply of multiadvantage and that's all we needed to kill the heartworms in my dog. We began the Doxycycline immediately as instructed and the first pill of multiadvantage on the third day and two other pills were to be taken on subsequent days as instructed. The other three pills were to be taken monthly until finished. The DVM and staff stated that we were to come back in six months to have my dog tested to make sure that all the heartworms were gone. Once we began the doxycycline treatment on my dog, he began violently throwing up all his food. It was hard for him to keep anything on his stomach despite we were giving the dosage with food. We returned to the Heartsong clinic to see the doctor because our dog was losing weight and vomiting. The staff was rude and unattentive especially the woman at the front with the long gray ponytail. She is the rudest of all staff members. Every time we asked a question to the DVM, she growled and tried to rush us out stating that we weren't due to come back for six months. The DVM recommended spacing out dosages with food. We left and continued the treatment as recommended. Once the treatment was complete, We noticed that my dog continued to vomit. We stopped by the Heartsong clinic again for guidance concerning our dog. The lady with the long ponytail was rude and told us we weren't supposed to bring him back for 6 months for testing. It was too early. Not once did she indicate on any visits that they weren't an full service clinic or animal hospital! We left. On the week of September 18, 2017, our dog began picking over his dog food. So we changed the food to see if it would help. It didn't, however, we did notice that he would eat turkey with the dog food and dog snack. On September 21, 2017, he stopped eating any dog food all together and would eat only turkey meat and dog snacks and drink water. I called the Heartsong and left a message with the receptionist about what was going on. She stated that they were at lunch and someone would call me when they returned. No return call. I called again the next day. The technician was rude and blurted out we aren't a full service clinic and we cant help! This was the first time she ever revealed this. I then indicated that I thought they were a full service. I called another animal hospital and they indicated that a change in food could cause these symptoms in dogs and to mix the new dog food with the old and see if he will try to eat it. Continue watching him. Our dog was still eating turkey from the table and drinking water until the evening of sept 24, 2017. He was drinking water only and began coughing up slimmy substance like he did when he began taking the doxycycline.I made plans to take him to the hospital, He died on September 25, 2017 before I could get him to the hospital. After research and speaking with the American Heartworm Society that issues guidance and guidelines to all veterinarians for heartworm treatment in dogs, documentation from JVMA and FDA, Doxycycline is supposed to be used simultaneously with an Adulticide(the poison shot administered in a series of three shots and the doxycycline for 30 days to kill the heartworms) to totally eradicate and kill heartworms in dogs. In accordance with the American Heartworm Society, Doxycycline isn't supposed to be used as a cure for heartworms because it isn't!!.Doxycycline isn't supposed to be used as a alternative medicine to cure heartworms in dogs!! The DVM at Heartsong was well aware of omitting the adulticide(poison shot to kill the heartworms) from the treatment regimen he provided because he stated to us he didn't like the shot. We didn't know what he was talking about. Now we know!! We are heart broken by the loss of our dog. Please take your pets somewhere else!!!

    I have used Dawg Tired on several occasions for my golden retriever. Each time has proved worse than the last. When I first came in, I requested a tour of the facilities. They refused to show me where the dogs would be kept. They said it would be "a liability issue" for me to leave the lobby. This has never been the case at ANY other boarder I have used for my dogs. Most locations are proud of their facilities and want to assure their customers that their dogs will be comfortable. However, I decided to trust the other internet reviews that Dawg Tired treated their dogs well. Every time I left my dog there I was skeptical and worried that she was being put into a small crate by herself. They require $20 upfront for a temperament test and told me they would refund it when my dog passed. However, they did not refund me $20. Instead they put it towards a credit with them, which is fine but be honest with your customers about your policies! On another occasion, I reserved daycare - but the night before my schedule changed and I decided not to drop off my dog the next morning. I was charged a "no show" fee for not giving them 24 hours notice. For anyone who works a difficult career and needs daycare services for their dog, this is an utterly ridiculous policy. My schedule changes by the minute and I would expect them to be more understanding of their client's needs. The final straw happened when I made a boarding reservation and was having a hectic morning preparing to leave for a work trip. When I went to drop off my dog they informed me that her vaccinations were not up to date and would not take her. She is a pure bred, perfectly trained golden retriever who had a past record of good behavior and vaccinations with this facility. I asked them if they could call the veterinarian's office when they opened to have them fax over her records. They said they would not and again refused to take my dog against all of my assurances that she IS and has ALWAYS been vaccinated. The front desk offered to "call the owner to ask if this would be okay". While she was on the phone with the owner the only question she asked was "Is this dog a regular?" Nothing about permission to call the vet for records! So now they are playing favorites with customers and discriminating against people who only use them only on occasion. I take this to mean that they WOULD have allowed a dog who was not up to date on their vaccinations as long as they were a regular... This is blatantly discriminatory and frankly extremely concerning. I ran home (40 minutes out of my way) to retrieve her records and prove to them that I was not lying. Needless to say I was extremely uncomfortable leaving my dog in the care of this woman after she so clearly disrespected me. This business has no faith in their customers. They made me late for my trip and jeopardized the safety of my dog. I would not recommend Dawg Tired to anyone. They are in the business of making money and do not care for their clients.

    They say my pet is good, but I don’t believe them. They could improve on the price and the cleanliness of the facility, other than that I have been happy with them. The time of getting in and out on the waiting part is good.

    Excellent. They visit every day and feed, water and clean litter boxes. They bring in the mail. They spend time petting and cuddling our pets. They even took one to the vet while we were on our honeymoon so she didn't have to wait for us to come home.

    The wait time is not long, it has never been longer than 15 minutes. The vet interacts very well with the pets. He is very, very sweet with the pets. That is why I keep going back. I feel like they give them quality service. He remembers my pets. I think they are really nice the way they interact with your pets.

    They're so personable. They had put her in a crate and put a sheet in the crate with her. She loved it so much that they let me take the sheet home with me. They're great. We also use her for boarding.

    It went well. Dr. Causey performed both surgeries on same as to only have to put her to sleep once.He did a great job,and took the time to explain everything to me.the entire staff there are wonderful and take good care of all the animals! I would recommend this Vet to anyone! This is not someting I take lightly!

    I think that Paradise is probable the best groomer in town.  I have use a number of others and the wife does not seem to complain when our dogs are groomed at Paradise and she does when I take them somewhere else.

    The business was clean and neat. The staff was friendly and kind. They seemed to care for our pet dearly. Just remember that tge are closed during lunch hours. Totally understandable, but we forgot and had to wait 20 minutes to drop off our pet.
