Excellent. Charlie's guys have worked for him for a long time and pack extremely well, and are very good at handling fragile items. The owner will talk your ear off, but listen to his advice. He definitely helped me plan my move better by getting pads from Uhaul instead of Penske, which were about the same price, but 1/3 of the size, and half the thickness. Very worthwhile decision.

All My Sons Moving of Atlanta
The movers arrived and were to pack, load and drive my belongings to FL. Having told them I had a 3 BR townhouse they told me packing and loading would take 5-6 hours but it took over 10! So that I could close on my house my neighbor was there to oversee the work. One guy spent more time on his phone and was described as lazy. Needless to say they didn't get started driving that day. The next day I got a call at 10:30 saying they were leaving. Took them 10 hours to drive a 5 hour route. I'll give them an extra hour for lunch and time for the truck but not 10!! There are no weigh stations along the route they took so I have no clue why so long. Once they arrived the driver spent more time on his phone and fidgeting in the truck than unloading. I actually unloaded more than he did. At least he did help with items that required 2 people. I was charged an extra $500 over quoted cost for additional hours and about $250 for a fuel surcharge that I was never advised about. The only reason I didn't give F's across the board was because Andrew, who did the majority of the work, was fantastic.

We paid for a truck and 4 movers. They were all professional and prompt. We have large furniture, which was difficult to navigate down 2 flights of stairs and then back up one flight. However, these gentlemen took great care with our furniture and each of the homes. This was a great experience as far as moves go.

    Stand Up Guys Junk Removal
I messaged Stand Up Guys through Angie's List on 1/12/16 and they responded very quickly. Set up for them to come out 8-10 am the very next day. They called at 7:55 am to say they were on their way and arrived by 8:15. Took 20 minutes to load up the truck and they were on their way. Very nice guys and very good service. I would definitely use them again.

    Ahnn's Movers
Great! Prompt, courteous and professional. Angie list pricing is deceiving and should more accurately define how much is covered for the 79.00. I paid additional $40 I would use them again just wasn't expecting to pay more. I did have a choice and he explained details in paying additional money

    Mark the Mover Inc
New to Atlanta, I was renting a large four-bedroom home, and also running my business from there. I was given two weeks' notice that the owners were selling the home. Fortunately I found a virtually identical home in the same neighborhood, just a quarter mile away.
With that short notice, I found Mark the Mover here on Angie's List, read the great reviews, and decided to go with them after a wonderfully friendly and helpful phone conversation with Gibson there.
At a very affordable price, the movers arrived right on time on the day of the move. We walked through the house as I pointed up what went where, what was valuable, what stayed in the home, etc. They all immediately put me at ease as I realized they'd all done this many times before, so I went back to packing the last room of the house.
If it's possible to make this long story short: This was an excellent moving experience. With no advance knowledge of Mark the Mover, I feel that I hit the jackpot. Everything was handled carefully, and the move went so fast. Even the "miscellaneous" items that went into the garage and basement were carefully stacked and stored. Boxes that were properly labeled went into the correct rooms without question. Nothing was broken or forgotten. The team of six had obviously worked together before, and their good humor and kidding among each other gave the move even more of a relaxed yet professional air.
I could go on and on, but what more can I say? If you have a chance to move with Mark the Mover, go for it!

Floors & Chores Movers Loading Unloading Helpers
It went great. There were 4 men for 2 hours. One stayed in truck and managed the stacking and placement of everything. The other three carried from my townhome. We barely fit everything in truck. I'm convinced if it hadn't been for his experienced hand, we would have had to leave things behind. He worked miracles. Very polite, professional, hardworking crew. And they handled my stuff carefully. I highly recommend them.

It went well overall. We had to go with 3 movers instead of 2, but it ended up costing the same as when I had used 2 movers in the past with another company.

They were very professional, used plenty of furniture blankets, and nothing was damaged during the move.

    Hewes Family Movers
Hewes family arrived on time. They were friendly and thorough and finished earlier than estimated. They places all the furniture, helped to put my King bed back together, and worked in rain to get the job done. Two days after my move, I realized that my son's trumpet had not made it off of the truck and Bill Hewes delivered it personally. Great work, great service!!!

    Atlanta Flat Rate Movers LLC
I waited several months to review so that any emotion would be diminished To be fair I was a challenging move. I was rushed to move and close so I thought using professionals would be better as I was still packaging while they moved furniture and boxes in staging area. When setting up, we agreed on 4 movers to help with packing if needed. This involved a move to storage for a week and then to new place. I paid for tons off insurance. Moving out. They initially worked efficiently. They were understandably frustrated that I slowed them down; however, they let me know and no one asked to help me or make suggestions. After a couple of hours when the heavy items were almost done, they started to stand around in the truck. As I packed, they loaded. After about four hours, they said the truck was full. The coordinator was helpful, but he was doing inventory. After they stopped because the truck was full, an attitude that this was all my fault and they couldn't take more. I noted that the truck didn't look full. they would load a few items and begin the cycle again. After several iterations where they continued to wait AND putting more in the truck. They finally claimed they could take no more. There was no discussion about how I was to move the rest. It was my problem. I tipped them well out of habit and thinking they will be helping the next day and I needed my move solution solved, period. I phoned the manager, he was in full of "this was my fault mode." We went back and forth and we agreed a small team of 2 would come the next day. I was charged with staging and putting a list together. He was to send boxes for the odd shaped items that needed to be boxed with wardrobes. I took pictures of what was left. The next day, they came on time. They loaded and packed the remaining items. Again, they came to me with the fact that they could not take anymore due to lack of boxes. Surprisingly, many of the items left were in the pictures I sent the day before. At the end, they threw remaining items in the truck after I told them I could not fit in my car and they had to be moved today as cleaners and the final walk through was that afternoon for a closing the next day. Delivery This went smoothly until they told me the armoir could not fit through the stairs. I asked if it broke into parts. They checked again and said no. I, a non-mover pro, went out and found where it separated. They then moved it upstairs in pieces. Again, no problem solving! I assembled things as they came in to help. At the end, they approached me with a list to sign that everything was there. It was a full inventory and I was faced with going through everything right then while they waited. I checked big items and signed. After I unpacked, I noticed a few things missing. These were odds and ends to assemble exercise equipment, a foot to a subwoofer was broken off, and a 20 inch plasma TV was missing. The TV was old2c but cutting edge when I bought it. I called and spoke to the manager. Again, he said everything was there and I just needed to look harder. He said things pop up later. He also clearly stated that I signed the inventory so anything broken was not covered. Again, emphasizing no fault of theirs. A couple of days later, he said they found the TV in some blankets. He personally found it. He said they will deliver on Monday and agreed to take the boxes for repurposing. II stayed home and they did not come. They came on Tuesday with the TV without a truck and said he would send one the next day or so. I waited weeks but the weather made a few days delay understandable. A it all, he was right about some things popping up. I didn't feel bad calling him multiple times as I paid for every minute. What I thought would be a thousand or less became more than 2000. They charged my credit card each day. What really irritated me was that I found the broken foot of the subwoofer in a planting pot. There is no logical reason for it to be there unless someone found it broken and placed it there. Why didn't they fess up at the time? They are pros. It was only a small item costing few dollars to special order. When I went to vacuumed the place, my cord was wrapped around the vacuumed in an odd way. My Dyson vacuum cleaner was broken multiple ways. For the cord to be wrapped around it the way it was, someone must have noticed the break and had to wrap it up differently so the cord wouldn't hang. Again, why didn't they fess up at the time? In the end, it was a very expensive move. With an expensive move, you expect professionals and some problem solving with it. With the crew saying they were done without any customer service mindset to not leave me stranded with stuff on both days is not acceptable. I can get THAT level of service with TWO GUYS and a TRUCK at half the hourly rate. I suppose that things would be better if I packaged and staged better,; however, I am not a professional mover charging 179 an hour. The hands up "that's all we can do" leaving me lurching is not professional. The manager continually telling me that they will not comp any time without exploring a situation were they were standing around is not professional. The ongoing statement of the truck being too full and still fitting more and more in was not professional. I think they should charge Two guys and a truck type rates if the customer has to manage the move and be responsible for broken items. . Again, not professional. Hiding broken items isn't professional. The quick inventory gun too the head with the clock running is not professional. I hired professional movers. These are the facts. Amateur Movers at Professional Prices. They had no "faults or accountability" for the entire move. It was "all me".
