AAmerican Crawlspace SolutionsJohn came out to inspect our crawlspace and let us know if we had water incursion. He was very honest and thorough and let us know that we did not in fact have evidence of significant water incursion into our crawlspace. He did not feel that we needed any repairs to our crawlspace but offered advice on maintaining our sump pump to avoid issues in the future. I will definitely recommend American Crawlspace Solutions to others and use them in the future for any issues that come up in our crawlspace.- David J.

FAs a building contractor myself I was Appalled at what I saw when I went into my elderly mother in laws crawl space. It was the worst job that I have witnessed in my 45 year career. The walls were Supposed to be sealed where needed and there was not ONE SPOT on the walls that had been repaired. The vapor barrier was Unbelievable. It was a few Pieces of plastic thrown on the ground. Nothing was sealed. 1/2 of the crawl space isn’t visible from the entry area and when I crawled in to look the area didn’t even have a vapor barrier at all. No edges were sealed. No seams were sealed. Water was leaking out from between the pieces of Plastic that was laid down. This is complete predatory behavior toward our senior citizens. I would avoid this company at ALL COSTS!! They took complete Advantage of this situation. It’s horrible !

FWent very well until recent heavy rain .After heavy rain I noticed a puddle of water where the concrete had been put in over the French drain .I called the owner and he said he would come out this week ,well it's the end of this week and no call or visit ! I am a man of my word ,when i tell someone i'm going to do something I never fail to do it .I paid over $10,000 CASH when work was complete ,I expect people to do the right thing ,I'm still waiting on the call or a visit none has come so far .Very disappointed George Mitchell .If you don't keep your word ,what does that say about you ?

AFrom the moment I contacted Tony to request a quote, he was always very responsive. He clearly and promptly answered all my questions and he and the rest of the team kept us in the loop with the status of the project the entire time. He, Jeff, Cody, and all their workers and sub contractors were always professional, respectful, and punctual. We ran into a couple hiccups which is to be expected with a basement finish, and the project did last longer than we initially planned but I was okay with it because I knew they were doing quality work and they always communicated with me about delays. At the end of our project, they ensured every detail was taken care of, and that I was happy with the results. They are a conscientious team who cares about their customer, and I so appreciate the care they took on our basement. Overall, I had a great experience with Prestige, and I am planning on hiring them again. I highly recommend!

FContractor advised he was busy and would take at least 4-weeks before they could come out and review the job. Six weeks came and went and no contact, visit, phone calls received. Called several time over a week period and received no returned calls. Finally a young lady called and I explained the situation with her. She advised she would check and cal me back which she did. Apparently the gentleman I spoke with originally did didn't want to talk with me and basically said they were do busy and didn't want to do the work. Not sure how you review your contractors but this I found this not very professional and might want to review having them on your list. Thanks

DWork was not performed as outlined in the contract. Plastic was only laid on the floor and not attached to the walls as outlined. No lights were installed as outlined. They installed a 50 pint dehumidifier when a 70 pint was specked. Dehumidifier is a home interior model costing $250 and not a commercial model which I was charged $800. Did not block vents so I was just dehumidifying the outdoors. I had to redo all their work to get it right. I held back $250 of payment until they made it right. They neve came back or called. Also my home now smells like a basement over 5 weeks later. They said it would only smell for a few days. Very disappointed and not professional. I would not recommend them.

AOur basement has been leaking forever, probably since the house was originally built. Every time it would rain hard, water would seep in between the foundation walls and basement slab. After a hard rain, I would vacuum up 15-20 gallons of water with my wet/dry vacuum. We had a landscaping and irrigation company put in french drains to deflect rainwater, which didn't help at all. I called a few local companies but none *specialized* in basement waterproofing, so I called two larger regional companies to get quotes. We called AquaGuard and BDry, and got a quote from each. Both seemed professional, both had great financing options, but BDry came in significantly lower in price. Almost half the price of AquaGuard's proposal. We went with BDry. They completed the waterproofing in about 2 days, were very professional, and cleaned up pretty well when they left. It's been over six months since we had the basement waterproofed, and we haven't had a drop of water in the basement since. Now that we are confident the basement won't leak, we started finishing the basement. Plumbers cut the concrete to move drain lines for a toilet and shower, and accidentally cut into the BDry drain lines. BDry gave me an entire section of the corrugated drain and piece to connect it so my plumber could fix it, and they didn't charge me a dime. Their service is awesome, and I would recommend them to anyone with basement waterproofing services.
