Now our blinds are installed and they are perfect. They even came in a week early. They look fabulous in my sunroom and I would absolutely recommend Eric and Acadia Shutters. Can't wait to have my next set installed.

  Eric Peace came out and measured all our windows and went thru the options for plantation shutters. He was very prompt, courteous, and professional. He said it would take 5 to 6 weeks to make and 5 weeks later they where installed by Cedric. We only did the first floor to see how they look and WOW! We plan on doing the upstairs next and Eric already has the measurements. I���m very impressed with this company due to the quality of the shutters, Cedric, and Eric who was fantastic to work with! Give Eric a call if u want some awesome shutters and Fantastic service!

  It was an excellent experience from start to finish! Carol McKenith was our consultant. She is knowledgeable, friendly, patient and thorough, a true professional in every sense! Carol helped me pick the perfect colors and even provided helpful suggestions for d��cor. Whenever I called her with a question, she responded within 10 minutes. It was a pleasure working with her. Our installers were Jeremy for the blinds and Jesse for the shutters. They both were quick and efficient. The blinds and shutters look absolutely beautiful! My husband and I are so pleased that we went with Acadia!

  Measurement was fine but I paid way more than I expected to pay in full and I still don't have any product to show for it and when I call the number listed on AL I get that the mailbox is full. The coupon was for a $500 credit but I ended up paying another $1300 out of pocket; in August I paid them the rest of the check and I haven't heard from them at all.

  It takes weeks to receive the order and the blinds that arrived were the wrong size. They say “Blinds ordered from Steve's are custom made based on our customers' exact measurements and specifications and therefore once the order is placed it is not cancelable and not returnable.” But these were not the size I ordered. This also means that EVERY order is considered a custom order and is not returnable. The website tells you they may deduct up to 0.5 inches - in some random fine print pointed out by customer service. You might find that fine print IF you click the right button, maybe, and only after realizing they sent you the wrong size.  I measured the exact size of the blinds to be replaced, but the factory "deducted" too much. Customer service wants to charge me for new blinds that are the “correct” size.

  I called Monday morning and left a message. Dan was the first to call back of the 3 handymen I contacted and could come out 2 days later. These were items which we had been putting off for awhile, so I was ready to just get them done. I was very pleased that he could be there so quickly. He did a very nice job, left everything clean and neat, and I will use him again.

  I called A Plus and was greeted in a friendly fashion. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate the next day (I had already acquired two other bids prior to A Plus). Christine and Nicole came to my home assessed my needs and provided a very impressive demonstration using a UV Heat Lamp and different films to show the amount of rejection of infrared rays that cause heat and the UV light that causes fading of fabrics, floors, furnishings, etc. The film that they use is the best in the industry and comes backed with a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. We scheduled the install for the next day and their installers came to my house on time and were competent, attentive, and professional. Nicole and Christine stopped by afterward to make certain that I was happy with the work performed and that I was a satisfied customer. Everything from start to finish went smoothly.
